umbertino
This 80-minute documentary focuses on the growing "wealth gap" in America, as seen through the eyes of filmmaker Jamie Johnson, a 27-year-old heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune. Johnson, who cut his film teeth at NYU and made the Emmy®-nominated 2003 HBO documentary Born Rich, here sets his sights on exploring the political, moral and emotional rationale that enables a tiny percentage of Americans - the one percent - to control nearly half the wealth of the entire United States. The film Includes interviews with Nicole Buffett, Bill Gates Sr., Adnan Khashoggi, Milton Friedman, Robert Reich, Ralph Nader and other luminaries. 1
nowhammies
Are your feelings hurt that you weren't born wealthy? Life doesn't owe you anything just because you were born. Until we find unlimited, free energy sources there will always be the human struggle to get ahead. Your socialist utopian world will never be realized. Get over it. 3

fox
Maybe it was blocked because I am at school. Anyway, I just watched the whole thing. Lots of interesting comments. Not all wealthy people are selfish and greedy. There are many generous wealthy people who fund mission projects, feeding stations, orphanages, etc. I don't think the government should have the right to keep taxing them (punishing them for being successful) more than other people. They should have the right to use their money to help others, not have to give it to the government to decide what to do with it. I personally want to be wealthy myself, not for the green pieces of paper, but for the financial freedom and ministry that it can fund.
