  BAGHDAD (Iba) .. The

member of the Commission on oil and energy MP Bayazid Hassan, that

included the second amendment to the Investment Law to establish oil

refineries great facilities and encouraging to attract foreign

investors.

Hassan said in a statement to Agence independent press (Iba) ..

crude oil amendment first and now the second amendment under study,

calling that includes the Second Amendment reduce the price of crude oil

to investment companies and express facilities by Iraqi banks and grant

processing land for the construction of refineries to encourage foreign

investors to invest in Iraq. "

"The second amendment to the law of private investment in crude oil

refining think will encourage investment companies to come to Iraq and

this investment sector refineries Iraq, pointing out: that Iraq imported

7_9 million barrels of gasoline a day from neighboring countries."

He also added "the intention of the Ministry of Oil Created four

refineries in Kirkuk, Karbala, Missan and Nasiriyah card up to 700

thousand barrels a day to meet the needs of Iraq from oil derivatives

and to take advantage of them in البتروكميائية industries dependent on

the production of the refineries."

Hassan continued: Created refineries in Iraq will create jobs for

workers and can be exported some البتروكميائية products abroad as in

I wonder what types of foriegn investments they are really open to consider related to oil?  Secondary companies or feeder companies could set someone up for great times.
