REGIONAL FIRMS ARE READY IN INVESTING IN IRAQI FREE ZONES

The General Authority for Free Zones correlated to the Ministry of Finance declared that there are a few of regional companies stated willingness in investing in the free zones of Khor al-Zubair and Nineveh.

The Director General of the Authority, Salih al-Qaisi also said that Al-Dhahir Company for Commercial Contracting wanted to invest projects for setting up a free zone in Khor al-Zubair to exercise all the services, saleable and industrial activities, noting that the land zone of the project is no less than 8 mln sq meters.

While Nour Star Company also gave offer to set up a free zone in Nineveh to practice industrial, service and profitable activities, Qaisi also added pointing out that these offers will be submitted to the financial possibility process. http://www.iraqdailyjournal.com/story-z6889879
