Down in Central America, in a fishing village on the Pacific Ocean,

this would happen often.

The full moon and high tides would wipe them out.

The scale was different than what you saw in your neighborhood,

but the devastation -- well, all things being relative....

They'd rebuild - yes -- on the same sites -- using the same materials,

fell more trees to carve out new canoes, round up what animals they could find,

share whatever they had with their neighbors and got on with the business of life.

On our own level, we too will dig out, rebuild, get on with the business of life.

We're as resilient as a primitive tribe... we just have better tools and build more expensive stuff.

Make like a caveman and get busy!
