As I understand it, this is normal currency fluctuation due to market changes.

I have no clue about this stuff, but read in another post that any change up or down in USD/IQD conversion is on the part of USD not the IQD since the IQD is at a fixed rate.

Can anyone confirm that?

IQD is locked at 1170 and pegged to the dollar. As the dollar goes up and down the amount you can get for $1 usd changes accordingly. IQD hasn't changed since 1/18/2009.

You are correct. Dinar is fixed on US dollar
