Iraq receives requests from the World Trade Organization membership

Iraq received a list of applications for the amendment of the majority of laws and other legislation as a condition for accession to the WTO.

It's probably safe to assume that the Iraqis know this as well. So would they be planning to apply for membership in the WTO without also having plans to have a tradeable currency? I think not.
