Sayhood: The Budget is a roadmap for the country’s economic policy

Amara (NINA) – Member of State of Law Alliance, Mohammed Sadoun al-Sayhood, said that the budget is this year’s roadmap for the country’s economic policy.

In a statement to NINA on Friday, Feb. 24, Sayhood said, “The budget that was approved yesterday by Parliament of $ 100 billion differs from the previous one by being the biggest in Iraq’s history, it is based on income of oil production of about 2.6 million barrels a day, including 175 thousand barrels produced from Kurdistan region.”

He pointed out that, “The amount of $ 600,000/- grant to pensioners will be distributed in the coming weeks; 25% on increased oil income, during the first nine months of this year, will be put in a special fund to be distributed in cash on the citizen.”

On Thursday, Parliament passed the Budget’s bill for 2012, of $ 100 billion before adjourning until the 6th of March. / End.
