ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A group of armed men stormed a currency exchange shop in central Falluja, the largest city in west Iraq’s Anbar Province on Tuesday, and fled the scene with a large quantity of cash, an Anbar police source reported. “A group of armed men have carried out an armed attack on a cash exchange shop in central Fallujua on Tuesday, escaping with a large quantity of cash, including foreign currencies, but leaving no human casualties,” the police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The past few days have seen a deterioration in security in Anbar Province, the most recent incident of which included the death of 5 policemen in an attack on a police checkpoint early today. Falluja is 60 km to the west of Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province, 110 km to the west of Baghdad.
