  1. FYI, the majority of the VIP members had this to say: 1. VIP is worth much more than $10 per month. 2. The value of being a VIP member far outweighs the cost. The only people who seem to be complaining or even talking about it are the ones who didn't pay in the first place or the $10 monthly members... the people who kicked in for a 6 month or year membership are the ones who are actually contributing, so it seems in my best interest to lose the $10 a month fee. Not only that, but quite honestly, those are the same people that cause me the most amount of work, demanding that I'm in there posting every five minutes so they get their $10 worth! Here's the bottom line - if you don't think it's worth it, don't pay. Pretty simple!
  2. Are you saying you learned nothing last night on the conference call?
  3. If I do it for you I have to do it for hundreds of other people too, and my workload is just too high. I can't accommodate $10 requests when I'm working on million dollar returns, I do apologize.
  4. Hang tight, I have a married joint VIP option coming soon. For now, just share the account. I don't want married couples paying twice.
  5. Happy Easter, everyone. Give thanks today and even if you're not a follower or believer of any religion - know that life is good and you have many blessings.
  6. This site is not here to bash Sweet Prince or anyone else. It is here to discuss dinar. Please do not use crude language towards anyone. There's no need to go out of your way to bash someone, regardless of how many times they've been wrong. Even if you've lost count of how many times they have been wrong. Even if you're 110% sure this is just like last week... and the week before.... and the week before... Remember what mom used to say? "If you don't have anything nice to say..."
  7. YES!!!!! bcmaz, thank you for posting that - that is EXACTLY why I decided to put it on here like this. I actualy keep two journals now, one here and my regular journal... and all the extra work just paid off, thanks to you! Did you get a Success Journal? Here's a link to some on Amazon, no need to pay full price. (The journal really does help!)
  8. 600+ calories, gooooood bye First leg was dropping off a movie and then to the Bike Shop to get a helmet - 35 minutes, 7.9 miles. Tried riding a wheelie and embarrassed myself in front of some elderly ladies at the grocery store... and got a bloody knee too. Second leg was 32 minutes, 7.6 miles - and i hit a new high top speed of almost 35 MPH. Now I need a shower, a good dinner, and a nice RV to top the week off!
  9. HATED yesterday - horrible run that ended up 4 minutes slower than my usual time last summer.... of course, it's not summer and I was a bit under-nourished. Good diet means a lot! I'm hopping on the bike today and I think I'll shoot for anything over 10 miles. That will get the blood flowing!
  10. I KNEW they would do that! That's why I asked if there was a story, I wanted that sucker pasted here!
  11. I've said over and over that it's impossible to tell what new laws the IRS will impose for this type of windfall - it's fairly unprecedented, and if you think the IRS won't make up a new law on the spot for us, you're living in a fairytale. I said "52" just to throw a huge number out there, because we're going to be paying a LOT of taxes if we're not smart. I didn't mean a literal 52%, if I did I would have backed it up with links. And I stand by what I said - the majority of us ARE going to be paying a HUGE amount of taxes... but you can bet your last Dinar that I won't be in that majority!
  12. DinarVets traffic murdering the Iraqi news site. Great.
  13. is there an article up or just the headline like the last 10 updates on aswat?
  14. No, the discussion board will remain - the VIP group will have to be closed though. Our advisory team is equipped to handle the current VIPs and maybe 100 or so more, but there's no way we can handle the THOUSANDS of people that will want to join VIP after the RV is announced.
  15. He guaranteed a return on their investment. This is a speculative investment, there is no guarantee, and if you try to sell the dinar with a guarantee - that is illegal.
  16. it's still morning where I am, and there is an update on the blog. Thanks for keeping tabs on me!
  17. If you recently mailed in a check for 6 months VIP access, and your initials are LMJ, you neglected to include your email address or username. I have no idea who you are Please click the following link and send me your mailing address so I can verify it is you. http://dinarvets.com/forums/sendmessage.php
  18. runkeeper did a GREAT job of staying connected - both times! I put on my running shoes and was stretching when I felt a little stretching in my shins... I have a HUGE fear of shinsplints after begin taken out of the running game against my will for a few months last year. So, rather than take the risk... I hopped in the truck and went to "test ride" a Cannondale Synapse I've had my eye on for quite some time... I'll be the first to admit I abused the "test ride" slightly. I'm pretty sure most test rides include a cruise around the parking lot to work the shifters, and maybe a nice jaunt up the street a few blocks. I strapped on my iphone, started up runkeeper, and proceeded to "test ride" the bike for a good 22 minute 5.5 mile ride . Huffing and sweating slightly, I pulled back into the store, where the clerk/bike sales guy gave me a single raised eyebrow and says "that was some test ride." I shrugged and asked if he had anything nicer. (Truth is I'm in love with the bike, I'm 98% sure I'll go buy it today after reading a few more reviews. ) Well, I got home and the kid wanted to go to a neighbor's house for a play date... I still felt pretty good, and my legs were definitely loosened up... So she rode her bike, and I ran another 19 minutes. Overall, it was the best cardio day I've had in a LONG time and I need extra coffee today as a result! For those of you that don't give a crap about my health thread, rest assured I have an article in the works and it should be done by noon. Have a good day, everyone! I'm off to write, hit some weights for day 30 of 84! Then I have a CRAZY afternoon full of meetings that will probably take me out past dinnertime... the GREAT news is things are moving along for the POST RV group.
  19. Had a great upper body workout yesterday, between calls - it was TOUGH to squeeze it in! Today is cardio, I'm lacing up the new Asics and hitting the streets with my iphone strapped to my arm. Hopefully runkeeper does a better job of staying connected to GPS this time - last time I ran, I cut across a school and apparently I was going so fast I lost the GPS signal! When I got to the last block, I pulled my phone off to check my time... darn thing wasn't even going. "No GPS". Then it found GPS, resumed, and congratulated me on running .17 miles in 19:32 Dang technology!
  20. I'm closing this thread and stickying it, I believe I've made my point and this is not a lot to ask. It was never meant to be a "debate", more a notice to other site owners.
  21. here's an easy example, and many sites operate this way. If a post on Dinarvets reads this way: Then anyone who wants to SHARE this news or post should link in this fashion: That's not a lot to ask, and it makes everyone happy. This is common net etiquette and also common knowledge in the publishing world. A lot of the sites that pop up brand new every day have no idea about the laws or how to respect another site - most of these sites are simply popping up because the owner wants to make a name for themselves. Look, giving credit where credit is due is nothing new. Seriously! It's nothing new - you don't see a CNN report posted on FOX (WORD FOR WORD). You see DIFFERENT WORDS about the same story. Agreed?
  22. I don't think anyone pretends that E, Frank, or any other site owner posts here. Also, we have a general chat log forum - my posts get mashed in with the rest of them, and nobody has complained. There is a BIG difference here - people are COMPLAINING to ME that they paid to get my chats in another site, and those chats aren't even there! You know, it honestly sounds like some people care more about people not being able to steal from this site than they care about those poor people who are being defrauded by the sites posting the stolen content! What is wrong with this picture?
  23. thanks Todd, I think a lot of people focused on the negative - and that's my fault. It TRULY is great news, and I'm really excited about it - I hope not everyone got distracted by the off topic subjects!
