I'm not up to date on all this LOP talk, but is this the 1st ime we've seen an article like this that included talk of the Kurdish language on the dinar? Could it be that thats been one of the hold ups? Maybe the lower denoms are being held back until they could include the Kurds Maybe thats what they've been doing for months. Of course the NIQD was 1st released back in 2003 right? So why wait till now to have that be an issue? RiverStyx brings up some very valid points. The debate is interesting Any help on my questions would be appreciated Semper Fi I had this on another post and thought i'd ask here as well.

MY THOUGHTS ON WHERE WE ARE AND HOW WE WILL BE PAID
bobby_cahill replied to Eddinar's topic in Dinar Rumors
Great post! Great comments! I'm somewhat confused on the payout to GOI employees. Are they not geting paid as of today? I read an article where the MP's were makin out like fatcats for doing nothing over the last 8 months. Is this seperate from what your saying about the paying of employees? I bookmarked your post cause it's an excellent read! Thanks so much for your input Semper Fi -
I'm not in the camp of "prove everything you state" BUT......if you say you saw the smaller denoms thats pretty huge in my eyes The thing with the downloading of the pics was pretty simple. Kap offered his help and was ignored Would've been alot better had he taken the offer Okie has alot to say and most of it is good stuff, but don't feed me BS and tell me it's caviar I'll stick with why this will happen, not when and how much. The rate will be what it will be. We just need to know can this happen Alot of people on DV have proven it can happen Semper Fi

Thank you for the confirmation. I read the whole chat earlier and when people stated it wasn't Meds chat i started to question myself Thanks again Semper Fi

Lets hope he's right! As i recall when OKIE came out with the info on the smaller denoms, Kap asked him for proof and Okie said it was in an embedded file that he was having a hard time opening with his computer Kap offered to help him (more than once) and got no response from Okie Lets deal in facts and good analysis. Rumors are a dime a dozen and lately there even cheaper Completley form the GOI then hold on tight Semper Fi JMO

I'm not too worried about banks not dealing in Dinar, whether it be buying or selling right now Once the IQD becomes a tradeable/world market currency, banks that exchange foregin currency will recognize it I understand people wanting to get their "ducks in a row", but until it becomes tradeable/recognized, theres not much you can do right now Find a bank that deals in foregin currency, and when the IQD rv's/ri's, then go see em and see what they say Thats what i'm doin Good luck to everyone Semper Fi

Actually that was just a small part of MEDS post today In his full post he sounded positive about a CC he was a part of Not saying he's right or wrong, just some info he apparently received Semper Fi

Talabani: Settled Presidencies
bobby_cahill replied to VIZIOIRAQI's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
* But there is a problem with Kuwait is in demand Kuwait to keep Iraq under Chapter VII. -I discussed the issue when I was in New York with the Prime Minister of Kuwait. He said: "If Iraq wrote a letter to the Security Council confirm the Aaataravkm Kuwait's borders - Iraq, we also agree to exit from Iraq under Chapter VII. I answered by Dr. Mohammad Al-Sabah: type the formula and I'm ready to sign now. We are ready to give such assurances. Remains the question of setting time for that. We've appointed an ambassador to Kuwait and they have an ambassador in Baghdad, and we expect to achieve excellent relations with Kuwait. This was one of the highlights for me Thanks for the post Semper Fi + + + + -
Wednesday, November 17, 2010 11:23 GMT During his participation in the Socialist International meeting in Paris, Iraqi President Jalal Talabani stated that the eight-month record delay to form the government is not something to be proud of. Due to lack of a total majority in Iraqi Parliamentary elections results, the different political parties’ leaders had to establish alliances through which they agreed to form the government. An Iraqi government supported by Al Iraqiya bloc will be set up but it is unclear whether its leader Iyad Allawi will be part of the new coalition administration, President Jalal Talabani said on Tuesday. "We have nominated him to be chief of the national policy council ... It's a very important position, but I don't know about him joining," Talabani said. إقرأ هذا المقال باللغة بالعربية

Thanks for the "factual" post! With all the news and intel flying around, we tend to get tunneled visioned and forget the basics (i'm just as guilty as anyone) I'm of the opinion that the GOI has to form and then all this will come to a head. Imagine all the "intel" once the GOI is formed My grasp on all this info is very limited so i definately appreciate when someone such as yourself comes on and sets the record straight I love this investment! Imagine the futures on $100bbl.....WOW Makes $3 seem more realistic Thanks for the post Semper Fi -
Anybody know how reliable these are? All 3 were received today Tweet #1: Sadrists are deluded if they think they'll get interior or defense ministry Tweet #2: Kurds pushing for either finance or oil ministry. Looks like foregin will go to Iraqiya Tweet#3: Highly unlikely that Iraq currency revaluation will be implemented by 2010. Needs approval by government and parliament Thanks for any input

LA Times interview with President Barzani
bobby_cahill replied to SteveI's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
Excellent post Steve! In following all this, it made me realize how delicate the negotiaions were. To think they (so far) have ironed out some differences that existed for 5 or 6 years was very cool to read about. Almost made ya feel like you were there with all we know now and knew then. Thumbs up to Barzani Thanks again Steve for bringing what you bring to DV! Semper Fi -
It's amazing how many responses the "rumor" threads get (yes including mine lol) Wasn't it Sonny1 who said to shy away from rumors from Okie, TK, etc? Over the last 2 days people have posted threads that included predictions from over a year ago. Yes even one from Phoneix Lets get back to the basics of following all the great articles about gas/oil deals, commerce promotions, infrastructure deals, oh yeah i forgot......THE GOI Let the GOI form and be sworn in then we'll know where we stand. Great things are happening and we should be preparing ourselves for just that...Great things! Falling for all theses rumors takes a toll on you whether you like it or not. I would suggest that people who post past predictions, include that in the title of your post. Maybe that will help Hope everyone had a great weekend Semper Fi

#'s 1 and 2 are in dispute amongst people on here #3 is interesting but heres what i found dated 9 Nov 2010 I know this has been thrown around as far as the GOI not geting paid I found this article on Aljazeera that was dated Nov 9, 2010 These are a few quotes and points i found interesting Simply put, in Iraq, MP's are financially privileged, with perks and bonuses that put them ahead of even members of the US Congress. Iraqi politicians make about $11,000 a month. In addition, they get a monthly allowance of more than $12,000 for housing and security, pay only six per cent of their base salary in taxes, and have already collected a non-refundable stipend of $90,000 after they were sworn in, in June. By contrast, an average Iraqi civil servant gets paid around $600 a month, and estimates indicate that at least one in four Iraqis live below the poverty line. So am i to assume all this talk about the GOI members wanting to get paid is false? Or am i misunderstanding the "not geting paid" theory? Thanks for your help on my question Semper Fi Read more: I asked this question but got no bites. Hopefully someone can help me/us thru ur post #4 I have no idea Thanks for your post
