  1. Yep, you're right SD. But caz has been doing this to so many good people over the years it's just hard to lay off him/her. He has a real burr up his saddle for posters who don't tote the RV mantle. Sounds just like someone in the business to me.
  2. Well, your grammar and spelling are so bad on that last post I'm not sure if I understood your point. Sometime BV will do that to one's articulation. Try again after your liver has had time to work.
  3. I do miss Keeps and Legolus. They were bright minds who fully understood the way world finance works. Keeps was a believer and a dinar holder until he finally saw the impossibility of the 100,000% RV. He then sold out and moved on. Legolus was a poster many years ago who never owned dinars and did his best to show, in a very articulate manner, how the RV was an impossibilty. Both individuals have been proved 100% right so far, and that's in contrast to EVERY single guru prediction which has been proven 100% WRONG over the years. Who would you believe, given those facts? I came to that realization about a year ago, sold most, but kept a little simply as a token to my stubborness. But caz has demonstrated a near perfect record of opposition to any and all alternative scenarios. That is why I question his/her motives for doing such.
  4. It doesn't matter, caz. You've been bullying posters for so long you don't even recognize it when you do it. It's just automatic for you. That's why I have to suspect your motives. There is no other poster over the years that has had such a consistent, vitriolic response to lobsters except you. And therefore I have to suspect your reasons for being here. You certainly aren't here for alternative discussion. You put down, belittle, and caustically respond with sarcasm, to everyone who dares to post anything except the "RV Now" mantra. Guarding your occupation I guess. Who do you really work for? Inquiring minds want to know.
  5. Spoken as only a true shill-like individual you are. Isn't it interesting that poor Laurie just asked for a definition of what a LOP is, and we gave it to her without any predictions whatsoever. But that wasn't good enough for shill-like creatures who must make sure the community NEVER strays too far from the GO RV mantra you just heard caz spout off. There is absolutely no doubt where you are making your money, buddy. Laurie didn't ask for your opinion. She asked for a simple definition, which we gave her. Sorry Laurie, see what we have to put up with down here.
  6. Laurie, A LOP is very simple to explain. The Iraqi 25,000 dinar bill has three zeros on it, and it is worth somewhere close to 25 US dollars . If the CBI prints all new currency without the three zeros, it is called "lopping" the zeros. Therefore a current 25,000 dinar bill will become the new 25 dinar bill. This new bill would be on a 1 to 1 basis with the US dollar. However, the CBI would require all old currency ( what we hold now) to be exchanged for the new currency within a specific time period, usually 6 months to two years. There has been endless discussion on whether the CBI would require all exchange to occur within its borders, as they did back in 2003 when they printed the currency we now hold. Even if we were allowed to exchange in the US, you would not be able to do this at your local bank. You would have to go through a currency exchanger, and there aren't many. It would create a huge bottleneck, and the currency exchangers could charge essentially anything they wanted in commission fees. It's a bad situation all around. And finally, a LOP would NOT result in any money being made by dinar holders. Our money making power comes from an RV where the three zeros are left in place. I'm afraid that scenario is very remote if not impossible. I hope that clears the LOP question up for you.
  7. Tex, I understand your contention that this is all a jolly source of entertainment for you and why should lobsters be "debbie downers" on your fun parade. But the truth is, this dinar speculation craze has created a much different scenario for millions of other people. For them, it's anything but a fun ride. It is a stress creator, a point of family conflict (when one spouse buys way more than they should have), a false source of financial windfall, and it creates an inheritance nightmare for executors who are trying to bring all estate assets into the light, as is required by LAW! Try to explain what dinars are, and what their worth is to beneficiaries who have no knowledge of this fiasco. So before you criticize posters of different opinions, you may want to consider the points I have just put forth.
  8. Tex, nobody is going to invest in iraq until there is a modicum of stability. They may talk about it, they may take photo ops with shaking hands and smiling faces, but until Baghdad governs appropriately and the military controls their sovereign territory against invaders, nothing of real substance will occur. I hope I'm wrong and you're right, but I don't think so. Just look at how long we'very been talking about the HCL. And that deal is between iraqis
  9. Buying oil stocks now is not a bad idea. Oil will come back. I remember gas at $4.00 a gal in 2008 and then drop to $1.60 a gal one year later. Then back up to $3.25 in 2010. Now it's down to $1.65 a gal. We run on oil. But the iraq dinar is not oil. The dinar is based on an entire nations economy and stability, both of which are in the tank right now.
  10. Well my advice to you all you "glass half full" dinar holders.........buy some more dinars. If you really think things are just rosey over there than you should have complete faith in the big RV happening at any moment. Go buy more dinars! Put your money where your mouths are. The dealers are waiting for your check. But if you haven't bought any more dinars since 2012 or so, it's probably because you have doubts about the truth of all the guspew. Like I do. Yet some of you are quite willing to belittle any poster who doesn't walk the "RV Now" line. Doesn't make sense does it?
  11. To caz and Shabs in reference to their question. Why am I here? First, as a dinar owner, I thought this was an appropriate site. I didn't realize the entrance to free thought was guarded so fiercely by the hit crew. Second. I got into this speculation through the persistent whispering of friends who were buying dinar back in 2008. I was a skeptic back then, and would not listen to their canned reasons. I finally caved in and bought mine in 2012 when the RV at any minute" mantra was at its peak. I must admit it was a heady time if you were a dinarian. Then came 2013, 2014, 2015 and now 2016, with the mideast situation getting worse and worse. We are so far from a currency revalue now that it literally makes no sense to own dinars, but, like any addiction, it is darn near impossible to let go of them. I finally did several months ago, and believe me, it was the right decision FOR ME. Now those same friends are just like the posters in Opinions. They are depressed, angry, uncertain, and mired in a lost dream. They can't get out. And they continue to listen to pro-dinar posters to get their daily fix. So I am their voice. Anyone who is pumping dinar sales now is making money off the deal. THERE IS NO GOOD NEWS OUT OF IRAQ. There is not imminent RV just around the corner. What does the far future hold? Who knows. So I will hold my piddly 1.5 mil as a souvenir of heady times in the past. And I will do battle with the guard dogs who, in my opinion, do a great disservice to people looking for answers. Hope that clears it up for ya, caz.
  12. The problem, SD, is that they will not get 90 cents on the dollar. They ( me also) coughed up a 15-20% commission fee to buy the dinar and quite frequently you can't get above $750 per mil when you try to sell. And remember, there are some credible currency exchangers that you can trust, but they won't pay much above $700 per mil. That leaves you the shakey sell option of sending your dinars to an unknown entity, and we have already heard many horror stories of ripoffs. That is probably the biggest bottleneck in this endeavor. You can't get rid of them very easily. And if the peg keeps moving upward 1182, 1200, 1240, etc, it will become increasing difficult to unload them. Probably impossible to unload them. That is the great bottleneck which no guru will honestly talk about. They just keep preaching the old tired lie that you will be able to just walk into your local bank and exchange them. My WF here HATES the Iraqi dinar !
  13. You will never get the shill-like posters to accept the reality of the Iraqi situation. It goes against the "RV Now" mantra which keeps selling dinars. Although I would wager that neither caz nor shabs have bought any more dinars for quite a few years. But they do like to promote them. Makes you wonder about them doesn't it.
  14. There's nothing that even remotely approaches "joy" in my posting. It is simply fact. If you chose to ignore the facts as they present themselves in the mideast, then I would suggest you vote for Sanders, who wishes America was more like Denmark. Don't be a dinarian ostrich. Pull your head out of the guru's propaganda, and breathe a little reality for a change. Reality can be refreshing, and it can also be depressing, as is the Iraqi situation right now.
  15. Thanks, SD. As usual the shill-like entities are quick to belittle factual news stories so as not to stymie the flow of dinar sales. We can always count on caz and Shabs to respond in like manner ( probably the same person). There is no good news out of iraq. Let me repeat. There is NO good news coming out of iraq. They are simply clinging for dear life to the money loans of the WB and the IMF. This administration under obama will let iraq fall because that would strengthen Kerry's nuclear deal with iran, who will gladly inherit control of Baghdad. It might be a good idea to sell our dinars and buy Iranian rials. That currency will certainly RV.
  16. I actually lost about 35% of my investment money. But that's the cost of not losing it all! And if people listen to you caz, there is a very good chance they will lose it all. This speculation is based on the CBI revaluing the dinar because 1. It has oil and 2. Because way in the past Saddam put an artificial $3 to 1 value on the dinar. Of course what isn't said is that NOBODY accepted that ridiculous value outside of Baghdad itself. We somehow all got sucked into believing that absurd assumption and it triggered the greed factor that lives in every human heart. But at some point, faced with irrefutable facts, a sane person rethinks their investment strategy. If you don't you are doomed to spend your golden years eating dog food instead of steak. That's not being arrogant, and that's not being negative. It's simply being smart.
  17. Caz, you don't need any help brushing up on your Arrogant, Self-Righteous pompous Attitude. You've had that going full throttle for the six years I've had the displeasure to read your postings. Like I said before, you are number one on my suspicion list of shill-like posters. You will never convince me you are not making a living off off the dinar speculation business. Some how, some where, your name is on a check signed by a dealer somewhere. You are just too guard dog in your response to anything other than the "GO RV" goosestep. I hope you sleep well at night.
  18. You people are in dire need of some serious psychotherapy. The dinar is no different than any other addiction. It becomes a disease of the mind if you let it. Release your tension by releasing your dinar. Send them back to the only country that can legally use them......ie...iraq. Trouble is, even the iraqis don't want them! Isn't that ironic? The people who should want them, don't, and the people who can't use them, buy them like it's the last lifeboat leaving the Titanic. Life sure is filled with unexplained mysteries isn't it?
  19. I feel sorry for all the angst that I am reading up in the Opinions section. People are finally catching on to the futility of this speculation. No more optimism, no more GO RV chants. Gurus are all laughed at. So....why are people still holding onto their dinars? It's a weird psychological affliction the dinar has on people. They just can't bring themselves to make the decision to sell out while they still can. My advice is to sell the majority of your holdings for good old American cash. Keep a mil or two, just in case, but relieve your anxiety by selling the majority. I did, and it sure feels good. Now, if it someday did revalue, I have just enough left to make myself not feel like such a fool. Keep a mil in the sock drawer. If it RV'S at 1 to 1, you are still a millionaire ( boy, that sure sounds silly now, doesn't it.)
  20. I know a good psychiatrist that might be able to help you. I would recommend anti psychotic drug therapy immediately in your case. The GO RV gas has finally eroded what was left of your brain. There is help available for your dementia, but Obamacare probably won't cover it. Vote Kasich if you want the solution to your problem.
  21. Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Caz has flipped out. Lost her noodle. Breathed to much nitrous dinar gas for too long. Even the Moonies and Jonestown followers reached the final knot on life's rope. Caz is dust. Her brain is mush. The drugs finally had their way with her. Maybe she changed her Obamacare doctors. Got a pill mill prescribing for her. It's always sad to watch a person decend into insanity, even a shill-like grommet like caz. RIP, my sister.
  22. I think caz has found a new anti-depressant. Way too giddy. Very unlike you caz. Kind of reminds me of a bipolar friend I once had. Up one day and down the next. I don't think caz even owns any dinar. She just come on DV to entertain herself. Get a life caz.
  23. Well, Rock, I don't know about a single word, but Forrest Gump's mother summed it up pretty good. For some people out there......." You can't fix stupid".
  24. Quite true, Tex. I just love needling caz. He deserves it most of the time.
  25. All right!!! The caz has seen the light...finally. I know that your entire post was tongue in cheek, but in actuality, you were probably closer to forecasting the dinar's fate then you think. I just hope that there will be someplace I can still exchange my last 1.5 mil before the crapola hits the fan. I hate losing money.
