J Secret military movements in Wyoming Almost nobody knows who the heck these guys are (Armed Mobile, Emergency and Security *AMES). I found one ARSOF officer who had come across AMES. He has told us of foreign troops who train with the soldiers when they are fighting guerrilla war battles. He told us of a group of for-hire soldiers he calls berka or gerkas and soldiers from Singapore as well. He said they fight with the Brits and they are highly trained in guerrilla war strategies. My son said that they are using these soldiers to train to fight against American tactics and weapons in a guerrilla war Texas. My son is freaked out because he said he will not fire on American soldiers or citizens. He says wont have to, the foreigners will do it for the government… Paul Martin has a longtime family friend, whose husband was in the “sophisticated” part of the Army had an encounter with foreign mercenaries known as Gurkhas. Although the spelling is different, I believe the above emailer is referring to what Paul is referring to. There are just too many similarities for their not to be a connection. The Gurkhas are a member of any of several peoples of Nepal noted for their military prowess. They are a a member of units of the British army established specifically for Nepalese recruits in the mid 19th century. They are the Spartans of the modern age, the ultimate soldier and that is all they train for. They are often compared to Russian commandos. And they are in Northern Colorado. They are trained to fight against guerrilla forces. To the south, in Texas, they are fighting against imaginary American military units that have gone guerrilla. Does anyone else see the connection? I guess it was today but a company called AMES (advanced mobile enforcement and safety) ( who claims to do defense, policing, fire and rescue cool high speed low drag stuff) was spotted in Wyoming heading south to Cheyenne in an approximately 75 to 100 vehicle convoy, not strange at all…….. So heres the low down, the government contracts tons of “security” contractor companies that are used to primarily secure federal and DOD facilities. But none of them uses armored troop carriers nor do they have what appears to be “up-armored” f-250 trucks with a military escort. The only actual policing contractors that I know of work on DOD installations and they are more less just high speed security guards with arrest powers who can enforce federal law on federal installations and are federally contracted “police officers”. I dont think this the case. These AMES contractors would not be in a 75 to 100 vehicle convoy just cruising down the highway just to go do a shift change at a military post. And I doubt they just had all the stickers and emergency equipment put in their vehicles and are now being transported to the company office for distribution. If they needed to move assets like this it would be on tractor trailers that specializes in just that. No..this feels different. And as a guy who tries to logically explain most “strange” things to an uninformed public..I feel that I can’t really explain this one..not in a good way at least. From the videos and photos I’ve seen they look somewhat like we did in Iraq and Afghanistan. When I was a “contractor” ..for a very well known..kind of bad and ruthless and feared company..we had armored ford f-250s that had armored cabs on the back of them as our main patrol and response vehicles. The passenger or driver was always some sort of spec ops and the rest were eugandans or kenyans, they were our fodder during a fight. So if anyone sees these vehicles..and sees that kind of personnel in the vehicles…I would assume you were looking at state department or DOD defense contractors..on our soil..these are warriors for hire..mercenaries we were called. Didn’t matter where we went just as long as that fat paycheck was enroot to the savings account. Look for one or two guys that look like they mean business and two or three or four guys who look out place. Like two linebackers standing next to two male cheer leaders..like Chuck Norris standing next to Obama..or like the Marines standing next to the Air Force..you get the idea. Chuck you da man! Anyhow there is no need for guys like us to operate in our own country unless the S is about to HTF. If the convoy stops at a military installation let us know which. If they head to a train yard let us know which. If they continue south give the highway or interstate. People in Colorado be vigilant..this may pertain to you now. If we understand property taxes as a "lease from the local government for the right to gamble on another housing bubble arising," we see "ownership" in a different light. We're constantly told ours is an ownership society in which owning a home is the foundation of household wealth. The concept of ownership may appear straightforward, but consider these questions: 1. If the house is mortgaged, what does the homeowner "own" when the bank has the senior claim to the property? 2. If the homeowner owes local government $13,000 a year in property taxes, what does the homeowner "own" once they pay $260,000 in property taxes over 20 years? The answer to the first question: the homeowner only "owns" the homeowners' equity, the market value of the home minus the the mortgage and closing costs. In a housing bubble, homeowners' equity can soar as the skyrocketing value accrues to the homeowner, as the mortgage is fixed (in conventional mortgages). But when bubbles pop and housing prices return to reality-based valuations, the declines also accrue to the homeowner's equity. If the price declines below the mortgage due the lender, the homeowners' equity vanishes and the property is underwater. The property may still be worth (say) $400,000, but if the mortgage(s) total $400,000, the owner owns nothing but the promise to pay the mortgage and property taxes and the right to claim a tax deduction for the mortgage interest paid. To answer the second question, let's consider an example. In areas with high property taxes (California, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, etc.), annual bills in excess of $10,000 annually are not uncommon. If we take $13,000 annually as a typical total property tax in these areas (property taxes can include school taxes, library taxes, and a host of special assessments on top of the "official" base rate),the homeowner "owns" the obligation to pay local tax authorities $130,000 per decade for the right to "own" the house. In states without Prop 13-type limits on how much property taxes can be raised, there is no guarantee that property taxes won't jump higher in a decade, but for the sake of simplicity, let's assume the rate is unchanged. In 20 years of ownership, the homeowner will pay $260,000 in property taxes.Let's compare that with the rise in their homeowners' equity. Since home values are high in high-tax regions, let's assume a $400,000 purchase price with an $80,000 down payment and a conventional 4% 30 year mortgage of $320,000. In 20 years of mortgage and tax payments, the homeowners paid about $197,500 in interest to the bank (deductible from their income taxes), and about $170,000 in mortgage principle, leaving them total homeowner's equity of the $80,000 down payment and the $170,000 in principle, or a total of $250,000. Since they paid $260,000 in property taxes in the period, have they gained anything? If we look at the property as merely leased from the local government for the annual fee of $13,000, then was "ownership" a good deal for the local government or for the homeowner? If the homeowner subtracts the lease fee (i.e. property taxes) from their equity, they are underwater by $10,000. The real estate industry answer is that "ownership" is great because the skyrocketing appreciation accrues to the homeowner. If the house doubles in value from $400,000 to $800,000 in a decade, who cares about the $130,000 in property taxes paid? If we subtract this $130,000 lease fee, the homeowner would still pocket a hefty profit: $800,000 sales price minus the $400,000 purchase price, the $130,000 in property taxes, the costs of 10 years of maintaining the home and the selling commission and closing fees. So in effect, anyone "owning" a home with high property taxes is leasing the property from the local government for the "right" to gamble that a new housing bubble is underway. But of course real estate doesn't always go up. Overseas buyers can vanish (or be arrested by angry mobs at home before they abscond to North America with their dirty money), mortgages rates can click higher despite central bank manipulation, and the economy can tank, causing household income to crater and home buyers to dry up. The "ownership" gamble is a big loser if real estate declines over the 20 years.If our example property declines in value from $400,000 to $300,000 in 20 years instead of doubling (or property taxes rise another $4,000 a year as local governments demand their pound of flesh to cover rising pension costs), the net equity of the "owner" declines to a $110,000 loss after 20 years. The conventional response to this "ownership" gamble is that renters have no upside. But this is not true. Renters can leave for cheaper regions without losing equity or having to wait for their house to sell. Renters can negotiate lower rent somewhere else. If we understand property taxes as a lease from the local government for the right to gamble on another housing bubble arising, we see "ownership" in a different light. Hersh also said that a secret agreement in 2012 was reached between the Obama Administration and the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to set up a sarin gas attack and blame it on Assad so that the US could invade and overthrow Assad. "By the terms of the agreement, funding came from Turkey, as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar; the CIA, with the support of MI6, was responsible for getting arms from Gaddafi’s arsenals into Syria." Hersh didn’t say whether these 'arms' included the precursor chemicals for making sarin which were stockpiled in Libya, but there have been multiple independent reports that Libya’s Gaddafi possessed such stockpiles, and also that the US Consulate in Benghazi Libya was operating a "rat line" for Gaddafi’s captured weapons into Syria through Turkey. So, Hersh isn’t the only reporter who has been covering this. Indeed, the investigative journalist Christoph Lehmann headlined on 7 October 2013, "Top US and Saudi Officials responsible for Chemical Weapons in Syria" and reported, on the basis of very different sources than Hersh used, that: "Evidence leads directly to the White House, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey, CIA Director John Brennan, Saudi Intelligence Chief Prince Bandar, and Saudi Arabia´s Interior Ministry." And, as if that weren’t enough, even the definitive analysis of the evidence that was performed by two leading US analysts, the Lloyd-Postal report, concluded that: "The US Government’s Interpretation of the Technical Intelligence It Gathered Prior to and After the August 21 Attack CANNOT POSSIBLY BE CORRECT." Obama has clearly been lying. However, now, for the first time, Hersh has implicated Hillarious Clinton directly in this 'rat line'. In an interview with Alternet.org, Hersh was asked about the then-US-Secretary-of-State’s role in the Benghazi Libya US consulate’s operation to collect weapons from Libyan stockpiles and send them through Turkey into Syria for a set-up sarin-gas attack, to be blamed on Assad in order to ‘justify’ the US invading Syria, as the US had invaded Libya to eliminate Gaddafi. Hersh said: "That ambassador who was killed, he was known as a guy, from what I understand, as somebody, who would not get in the way of the CIA. As I wrote, on the day of the mission he was meeting with the CIA base chief and the shipping company. He was certainly involved, aware and witting of everything that was going on. And there’s no way somebody in that sensitive of a position is not talking to the boss, by some channel". This was, in fact, the Syrian part of the State Department’s Libyan operation, Obama’s operation to set up an excuse for the US doing in Syria what they had already done in Libya. The interviewer then asked: "In the book [Hersh’s The Killing of Osama bin Laden, just out] you quote a former intelligence official as saying that the White House rejected 35 target sets [for the planned US invasion of Syria] provided by the Joint Chiefs as being insufficiently painful to the Assad regime. (You note that the original targets included military sites only – nothing by way of civilian infrastructure.) Later the White House proposed a target list that included civilian infrastructure. What would the toll to civilians have been if the White House’s proposed strike had been carried out?" Hersh responded by saying that the US tradition in that regard has long been to ignore civilian casualties; i.e., collateral damage of US attacks is okay or even desired (so as to terrorize the population into surrender) – not an ‘issue’, except, perhaps, for the PR people. The interviewer asked why Obama is so obsessed to replace Assad in Syria, since "The power vacuum that would ensue would open Syria up to all kinds of jihadi groups"; and Hersh replied that not only he, but the Joint Chiefs of Staff, "nobody could figure out why". He said, "Our policy has always been against him [Assad]. Period". This has actually been the case not only since the Party that Assad leads, the Ba’ath Party, was the subject of a shelved CIA coup-plot in 1957 to overthrow and replace it; but, actually, the CIA’s first coup had been not just planned but was carried out in 1949 in Syria, overthrowing there a democratically elected leader, in order to enable a pipeline for the Sauds’ oil to become built through Syria into the largest oil market, Europe; and, construction of the pipeline started the following year. But, there were then a succession of Syrian coups (domestic instead of by foreign powers – 1954, 1963, 1966, and, finally, in 1970), concluding in the accession to power of Hafez al-Assad during the 1970 coup. And, the Sauds' long-planned Trans-Arabia Pipeline has still not been built. The Saudi royal family, who own the world’s largest oil company, Aramco, don’t want to wait any longer. Obama is the first US President to have seriously tried to carry out their long-desired "regime change" in Syria, so as to enable not only the Sauds’ Trans-Arabian Pipeline to be built, but also to build through Syria the Qatar-Turkey Gas Pipeline that the Thani royal family (friends of the Sauds) who own Qatar want also to be built there. The US is allied with the Saud family (and with their friends, the royal families of Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, and Oman). Russia is allied with the leaders of Syria – as Russia had earlier been allied with Mossadegh in Iran, Arbenz in Guatemala, Allende in Chile, Hussein in Iraq, Gaddafi in Libya, and (all of whom except Syria’s Ba’ath Party, the US has successfully overthrown). Hersh was wrong to say that "nobody could figure out why" Obama is obsessed with overthrowing Assad and his Ba’ath Party, even if nobody that he spoke with was willing to say why. They have all been hired to do a job, which didn’t change even when the Soviet Union ended and the Warsaw Pact was disbanded; and, anyone who has been at this job for as long as those people have, can pretty well figure out what the job actually is – even if Hersh can’t. Hersh then said that Obama wanted to fill Syria with foreign jihadists to serve as the necessary ground forces for his planned aerial bombardment there, and, "if you wanted to go there and fight there in 2011-2013, ‘Go, go, go… overthrow Bashar!’ So, they actually pushed a lot of people [jihadists] to go. Hersh’s journalism is among the best (after all: he went so far as to say, of Christopher Stephens, regarding Hillarious Clinton, "there’s no way somebody in that sensitive of a position is not talking to the boss, by some channel"), but it’s certainly not good enough. However, it’s too good to be published any longer in places like the New Yorker. And the reporting by Christof Lehmann was better, and it was issued even earlier than Hersh’s; and it is good enough, because it named names, and it explained motivations, in an honest and forthright way, which is why Lehmann’s piece was published only on a Montenegrin site, and only online, not in a Western print medium, such as the New Yorker. The sites that are owned by members of the Western aristocracy don’t issue reports like that – journalism that’s good enough. They won’t inform the public when a US Secretary of State, and her boss the US President, are the persons actually behind a sarin gas attack they’re blaming on a foreign leader the US aristocrats and their allied foreign aristocrats are determined to topple and replace. But the way he's going to get there spells bad news for ordinary, peaceful Americans. Today, Hastert was sentenced to 15 months in prison for the made-up "crime" of structuring, which is a situation in which a person withdraws cash from a bank in amounts designed to not trigger mandatory reporting on the withdrawals to federal agents. In other words, it's a crime to comply with the law in America. If you change your activities to adhere to the letter of the law, that's a crime. The only way you would know this, however, is to read today's articles on Hastert's sentencing very, very carefully. After all, most of the media coverage gives the impression that Hastert is being sentenced for alleged crimes of sexual abuse. I say "alleged" because, thanks to the statute of limitations in Illinois, Hastert can't be tried for the real crimes of sexual abuse. But real crimes such as preying on underaged teenagers should not be confused with the non-crime of withdrawing cash "improperly" from a bank account. Not even the judge in this case, who kept referring to the sexual abuse accusations, is well-informed enough to make the distinction. Or, more probably, the judge was simply grandstanding from the bench. The Hastert case makes for good, lurid press because of the sexual abuse angle. But, legally speaking, Hastert was on trial for "structuring," not sexual abuse. These same financial laws are applied to ordinary people who have never behaved improperly toward a young person at all. They're applied to small business owners who simply wish to mind their own business, but would rather not have the federal government sniffing around all their financial affairs. These federal laws are used to turn bankers into spies for the federal government. As Jeff Deist noted in relation to the Hastert case in 2015: Now Hastert has been charged with two noncrimes: allegedly "structuring" over $1 million in cash withdrawals from several banks (i.e. taking out less than $10,000 repeatedly); and allegedly lying to FBI agents about what he had done with the money. First and foremost, withdrawing one's own cash from a bank is none of fedgov's business. But of course the feds hate privacy almost as much as they hate not taxing every human transaction. So the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970, sold to the public as a tool to fight money laundering and drug trafficking (for the children!), was born. And along with it came the odious requirement for financial institutions to report any cash withdrawals over $10,000. Keep in mind that the original $10,000 reporting rule has never been adjusted for inflation. In 1970, $10,000 could buy a new car, appliances, expensive jewelry, etc. Just keeping pace with official BLS CPI would require raising the reporting amount to nearly $61,000 today! So even if one accepts the premises of the Bank Secrecy Act, individuals should be allowed to withdraw, carry, and conduct business with $60,000 in cash without any suspicion. Also note that the "structuring" prohibition was added by one of the many amendments to the original Act. Cash withdrawals of $10,000 or more from a bank must be reported, but withdrawals of less than $10,000 may also need to be reported... And the person making this Junior G-Man decision may be a 20 year old bank teller! Hastert may very well be a sexual predator, and if that's so, he should be punished for that very-real crime. If there's a problem with the statute of limitations, then that should be addressed. What has happened in the Hastert case, though, is something else entirely. The federal government has used a federal non-crime as a back-up plan for prosecuting a man who hasn't been convicted of the actual crime for which he's being targeted. The existence of these federal non-crimes presents a very dangerous reality for ordinary people. If true crimes can't be proven in a court of law, then the federal government, if properly motivated, will simply reach into its bag of tricks and find some sort of federal non-crime that can be used to punish the accused instead. Such "offenses" could be structuring, or "lying to federal agents" (as in the case of Martha Stewart) or use of the RICO act to convict people for unrelated financial acts that involve no criminal intent at all. Even ignoring any sex crimes, Dennis Hastert spent much of his life as a despicable politico, supporting and funding crimes against ordinary people, either in the form of war crimes, domestic spying, or through his support of the federal machine that now is taking him down. He'll be missed by few. In this, the feds have chosen their case well. Given the conflation of real sex crime with financial non-crimes, (and Hastert's contemptible public legacy) anyone who speaks out against harsh sentencing for fake federal crimes wil be labeled an apologist for Hastert. But, as H.L. Mencken once noted: "The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all." Yesterday, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told concerned senators the IRS is doing everything it can to see that undocumented immigrants are able to use illicitly obtained or fake Social Security numbers for “legitimate purposes.” Yes, you read that right. The IRS is bending over backwards to help out illegal immigrants who actively commit Social Security fraud. For “legitimate purposes,” of course. Such purposes, Koskinen added, included paying taxes. “It’s in everybody’s interest to have [undocumented immigrants] pay the taxes they owe,” he said. The IRS Ignores Warnings About Fake Social Security Numbers How corrupt are these people? Just pure Criminals - throw them all in jail Koskinen’s statement came in response to a question from Sen. Dan Coats (R-IN) during a session of the Senate Finance Committee. Coats wanted to know why it appeared the IRS is collaborating with taxpayers who file tax returns using fraudulent information. Coats said that his staff had discovered the practice after looking into agency procedures. “What we learned is that the IRS continues to process tax returns with false W-2 information and issue refunds as if they were routine tax returns, and say that’s not really our job,” Coats said, according to report issued by Forbes yesterday. “We also learned the IRS ignores notifications from the Social Security Administration that a name does not match a Social Security number, and you use your own system to determine whether a number is valid.” In response, Koskinen explained that so as long as the information is being usedonly to fraudulently obtain jobs rather than to claim false tax returns, the agency doesn’t see a problem letting the issue slide. But the IRS chief didn’t stop there. While standing on a grass lawn near the clinic, the 51-year-old poured several gallons of gasoline on himself before committing self-immolation. After a bystander and two cops were able to extinguish the flames, Ingram was airlifted to Temple University Burn Center where doctors discovered the veteran had suffered severe burns across 100% of his body. The 51-year-old vet survived for another nine hours before passing away. Serving in the Navy from 1985 to 1992, Ingram had attained the rank of chief petty officer and was deployed in the Persian Gulf during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He left behind a wife and two young children, ages 3 and 5. According to Ingram’s wife, he had recently lost his job and they were in the process of going through a divorce. She also confirmed that her husband was unsatisfied with the care that he had been receiving at the VA outpatient facility and killed himself in front of the clinic on a Saturday while it was closed. Local police have confirmed multiple calls requesting the facility to start opening on weekends for veterans. n 2013, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs released a report estimating that roughly 22 veterans had committed suicide every day between 1999 and 2010. In the decade after 9/11, the military spent at least $2.7 billion on antidepressants alone, including prescription pills handed out by VA clinics. During the second Gulf War, the pharmaceutical industry began influencing the U.S. military into dispensing unprecedented amounts of prescription drugs to young people serving in the armed forces and to veterans at VA clinics. In 2002, the Department of Defense spent $3 billion on psychotropic prescription drugs. In 2011, the DoD raised that number to $6.8 billion. Recalling the image of Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thích Quảng Đức, Ingram committed self-immolation in an act of desperation calling attention to a healthcare system that had failed him and thousands of his fellow veterans. Instead of revolutionizing the VA’s failed healthcare system, a tribute of flowers and American flags now reside on the ground where Ingram burned.
