  1. I have posted my Intel on the ping, love it or leave it. Iraq may not go by our time lines. They may not go by much of anything other than if they don't move this foward, they will have hell to pay. Russia and China have vested interest in their oil production now. They are not as diplomatic as we are. They will expect results or will handle this. Granted there are many countries with vested interest in Iraqs' future, but these are the ones that will eventually force results. We and Iraq don't want or need this to happen, so it is imperative that Iraq move foward and show results or the big boys with no reservations will move in and make results happen. This, like I have stated, would not bode well for us or the countries of the world that need Iraqi progress. This being said, "NO" viable budget can be made without (knowing) what the value of a currency will be, even a relevant guestiment is irrelevant, in order to make a budget estimate for the following year. It is always a standard practice to cushion a budget in order to create some "wiggle" room. As it has been stated, their higher ups are extremely well educated and know the consequences and fall out if they don't make this happen soon. I expect to see them get this done or fall back under control of superpowers that have little to no sympathy for anything other than results. All we can do is wait and watch, but I for one still think results are fourth coming very soon, because the consequences for not getting it done are greater than any of us could most probably realize... Just my 2 cents and thoughts... Peace.
  2. And then you have to add housing, food and books into the equasion.... It means more $$ would be needed for education, so.... GO RV....
  3. LOL.... Well, we can read a lot of things into a lot of things, round and round... Most of their top officials are educated in Ivy league and private institutions state side. The average cost for these are extreemly expensive per semester. I believe I read, especially for grad programs, right at 100k per year. Don't know Englands elite, but am sure they are up there as well. So, essentially new country, new rules... Wouldn't you want your elite educated by the best? Especially if your future depended on their decisions? Without RV, those dinars won't help with tuition here or in England. So, RV means good education for their future.
  4. Got a hold of S today and he said the bank systems are ready to go any time in the next couple of weeks. I asked him any dates? He said nope, just that this thing gas to be very close and to get our servers in line with communicating with theirs. These checks usually happen quarterly, name not in a hurried fashion and being told it better be all right. I asked him any other word? He said no, the big boys are all behind closed doors now. I got in by the way, thanks for the heads up S. I could feel his smile over the phone, it was for your mom and your girl, not for you, because I kinda think you're an ass too... but you're family, what the hell.
  5. I have to agree. I should post on the open rumors what I am going to tell you. With so many tensions so high, and my friends dad calling me every hour on the hour about this investment, it's starting to make me a bit crazy, lol. I do my internet with a cup of coffee every morning at Starbucks. All the tables and chairs are close, so you can't help overhear others conversations, even if they are talking in whispers. Three banker guys were sitting at a table next to me today and I heard them talking about the "dinar". Balda... blada... blada... Anyway they seem to be watching for big news to transpire tomorrow. One was arguing that an rv will take over a week and they still have major issues that need to be addressed. The 3rd one stated that they were expecting "BIG" things by tomorrow.... So take this for whatever you want or need it to be for you. (And there was "NO" mention of a rate before you ask, I did not ask them questions, because they were not talking to me and I thought best to keep my mouth shut.) Just sounds good is all. "PEACE" Spike
  6. PULL THE TRIGGER! PULL THE TRIGGER! PULL THE TRIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the info.... Going to check it out... giving you a +
  7. Waiting for the "BANG!" to happen any time though....
  8. XE Currency has been showing 1,169.600 all morning...
  9. Ohhhhhhhh<----- using Arkansas as your basis for being an imbred? That ain't right...
  10. It's good to see more pieces falling into place.... very good! Tensions high, like watching the horses run and yours is 3rd from the front with 15 links to the finish!
  11. The concept of a "little bit" being a ping is a testing process of making sure when a currency updates in the market, the computers can read, translate and post correctly. (A little bit). The computer bit, surf the web, download and burn music, and a few other basic functions. Figure of speech. I'm not illiterate in all subject matter, just not as literate in the tech field as being an operator, but understand the concepts.
  12. I'm not IT... just relaying what I was told. Not trying to insult a veteran IT guy, and maybe he was just explaining to me in a non-IT person kind of way, I can fumble around and do a few basic applications, but have no real idea about what you are talking about with the tech talk you just addressed. So, do you explain complexities about computer protocol with people who barely know how to turn one on? I'm sure they would look at you like you were speaking an unknown foreign language. Wasn't trying to push an agenda, just found it curious is all. I wouldn't run out and buy more either right now, unless I had more disposable income that I could sit on. The kids need presents and the smile on their faces mean more than getting a little bit more dinar. So thank you for your input.
  13. I'm actually suprised he called to even tell me about the ping testing. We didn't go any further in depth and doubt he knows anything more other than making sure the computers do what they are supposed to do when the time comes. I also don't understand why the variation between the ping markers. I don't think he will know any sooner than we will other than something is close. You can be rest assured that if he calls with any more info, I will post, no matter what criticism I get. I figure we're all on the same ship, so might as well pass on what time dinner is going to be served, or if a hole is in the boat. We sink or swim as we ride this together.
  14. I'm not making predictions, don't know if its more than banking tests that mean nothing at all. I just thought it an odd call. I gain nothing from pumping, wish I could get an Ali cut! LOL, but really just relaying the call. He usually just works at nights on the different systems, but has been doing a lot of day work as of late. Not trying to take anything from TK or make any predictions, just relaying the conversation. LOL, thanks for keeping me level!
  15. I'm ready to catch the firestorm, so here goes.... (NO LINKS!) It's why I posted in RUMORS! Just got a call from a friend that is a computer guru, he does a lot of work for banks and insurance firms around the country. He asked did I know anything about the dinar? He was not one I have told about my investment. He stated it was Iraq currency, I told him I had heard a little bit about it, and it sounded like a crazy investment to me, the guy is kinda an ass, and didn't know if he was baiting me. He went on to ask me did I know anything about the process of pinging. ( I know a little bit, but didn't let him know.) He went on to tell me it is a test process on the computer system that happens when a currency is about to change in its value. I replied yes? And? He said well... they have been pinging the dinar at a revaluation of between $3.88 and $4.32. I said it's just probably a systems test. He said it usually means more than a test. He then for a friend of ours # who does investments. I gave it to him, and he stated I ought to really consider looking into it. Hmmmmm..... Just an odd call maybe, just tests maybe... interesting none the less
  16. Don't over extend yourself. That may not make you a rock star lifestyle, but when it goes, you will be pleased you didn't pass it up. Don't use the bill money or Christmas money. Buy what you can afford to sit on. It has very good potential, but you have to maintain reason. Family first then the dream. Not all of us have the access to loads of disposable income. 2 mil. is a good starting point and if it rvs before you are able to get more, thank God for the opportunity and be thankful. I'm just a bit above you and am fighting a corporation over unfair job practices. In short, I'm in-between jobs myself. Don't jump in over your head. You done good.
  17. Some new shoes! LOL... and a new mother for my girls! ... and... and... and... lol. I plan to choose where Gods 10% will go like water wells in Africa maybe. I've never owned, so a condo, I don't like yard work, LOL. I've would have school loans paid off and some medical bills. I would be able to have regular visits with my girls again, that would be nice. So nothing really fancy, and reinvest.
  18. Amen brother, and I know people have been waiting a long time for this, but this is the first time I have ever seen so many governments vested in another countries recovery, and pushing so hard for results as in "now". LOL. It's a beautiful thing to see, especially when you own a part of it. YOU GOT IT! YES! He does make it cool right?
  19. One of my favorite movie quotes of all time is; " You need to go sell your crazy someplace else.... because we're already all filled up here.". I have tried to explain my reasons for this investment to most people that I have really wanted to at least take a look at this. Mostly I have found negative responses, which is fine. The ones that have invested, well, let's just say I have already listened to many rants ending with me telling them I would be happy to buy you out. This has always been met with a resounding, "NO". This just makes me laugh. Although I am relatively new to this investment, it is by no means my first rodeo. I know much of about what I'm about to say can be found in many areas of this site in more detail, but for the ones, i.e., the folks that are calling me every couple of hours. Just keep reading post on this site and checking the currency exchanges that you use. Now, my reason for this investment: 1) We, the US never destroys, occupies and rebuilds without holding a special interest, i.e., natural resources.( I have read Iraq has either the 3rd, 4th or 5th largest oil reserves in the world.) What ever the specifics, does not matter to me, it's a bunch, lol. 2. To many world powers are invested in Iraqs' recovery and in turn, hoping this will benefit their economies as well. (PUSH PUSH PUSH!) 3. All the talk on what the rv will be. It has to only go up to be able to have "everyone" want to do business with them. 4. It must happen fairly soon in order to start up the progress movement soon, not mentioning contracts that could be lost, ect.. The fact is, the longer they wait, the longer it will take to bring them to a stance of prosperity. Why would they not want to move out from under the poverty umbrella? 5. It is an investment, whether long term or short, that's part of the price you pay for getting into any investment. 6. I do believe it is poised to happen very soon. Basic economics are in our favor along with the fact that the world is pushing.... Gods speed... God bless... Take deep breathes... And keep the faith! ((((((PEACE!!)))) Spike.
  20. It was doing that all night brandyclark/KentuckyDan... Somethings up. Just haven't figured out what yet, and how it Is relevant...
  21. Well, it falls behind right at about every 15 min. the updates. It has never done that before, it has always been right at one minute behind on its updates. I just hope it's more than a glitch.
