Ok im going to talk to the dummies that always think someone is trying to get over if you read my post i said clearly we can meet at a bank for security reason and you can check to see if they are real or fake at that time. 2] I dont have to get rid of them not hurting for money just looking at different invest and dont want me hand in to many cookie jars at once.3[ If you never heard of the SOFA agreement dont think im doing anything illegal how do you think dinar trade and other companies who sell dinars ger them from you think they are buying the at 1000.00 per million and only making a 50.00 dollar profit i think not,4] Thanks to all the pos. people it was only a hand full of you all. And last but not least i went to Iraq 4 times i should be able to bring these dinars back even our former pres. bush clearly states we can invest in iraq And on 1 more note dont worry bout how much i paid for them do you question dinar trade or any bank out their how much profit they make either you are in or out you dont have to buy them.

I got 2.5 millions dinars im located in Oklahoma City if anyone is interested let me know im asking 1000.00 per million i got them while over in iraq i have 5k 10k 25k dinars just let me know will meet at bank for security.

Ok heres the deal i was in Iraq and i ran the post office their it is called a SOFA agreement and i emailed a buddy to see if it was still true and heres the email back. U.S. Banks and the Iraqi Dinar After the signing of the SOFA agreement between Iraq and the United States government, banks world wide will soon stop selling the Iraqi Dinar for good. Banks will be distancing themselves from any liability that they have been placing themselves in since the Iraqi law forbids Iraqi Dinar from leaving its borders. The SOFA Agreement Article 20 also states in plain English that it is illegal to export Iraqi Dinar currency. The Iraqi government placed this in there because they are fully aware of how much dinar is outside the borders of Iraq. The Iraqi government has put banking institutions on notice to stop this practice of selling their Iraqi currency. When you have it stated inside the text of the SOFA agreement, you know their serious about protecting their economy. So hope this answers everyones question about taking money out of Iraq.

I would cash in a million and hold the rest just in case something stupid happens i can live with a free 100k in the bank..Just remember money is the root to all evil and i feel some people will get the money and go party and atleast 10% will be back broke after the first 3 years it happens all the time with the lottery...Like everyone says just sit back and enjoy the ride when it happens life will be a much better place just remember to pay your GOD back before you pay yourself......

Well everyone that is in Iraq right now need to look at the stars and stripes from 3 days ago, it states in their that in northern Iraq they cancelled Christmas celebrations because of threats and warned the people not to put up Christmas Decorations because of attacks. Read all your info people that is in country before you said anything its nothing to do with the RV at this time its all bout christians celebrating Christmas.

As far as the post office ic concerned, it IS differnent at each base. Some are run by KBR, when I was last in counrty in July, and some are run by the Military but all the mail is x-rayed before it leaves counrty. I lost 5 Cuban cigars, they cut my box and re-sealed it. As far as the dinar and taking it out of country, if you work for KBR it is against their policy to have it and there was a sign at BIAP talking about taking it out of the counrty. Everyone has a answer for this but ii am telling you the real thing go to this if you all dont believe me Sofa Agreement Article 20: Article 20 Currency and foreign exchange 1. The United States Forces shall have the right to use any amount of cash in United States currency or financial instruments with a designated value in United States currency exclusively for the purposes of this Agreement. Use of Iraqi currency and special banks by the United States Forces shall be in accordance with Iraqi laws. 2. The United States Forces may not export Iraqi currency from Iraq, and shall take measures to ensure that members of the United States Forces, of the civilian component, and United States contractors and United States contractor employees do not export Iraqi currency from Iraq.

Rich soldiers or not, they are soldiers and they are under contract with our government. I am a mother of 2 and fill in mom to fifteen or more and I know that a good bit of them have it; and obtained it in different ways being brought back from deployment, sent home while on deployment and or purchased in the us just like most of us in this forum have. I am not familiar with military being excluded from being able to invest in foreign currency Iraqi dinar or others. I am not saying they are not buying it cause any soldier can go to the finace office and buy as many as they want to with no fees like everyone is trying to charge with no questions ask, but if you read the topic it was....Solders forbidden to bring Dinar to the US. this is true they can not leagally bring money back to the US in their things they mail home because they get searched by hand and then by x ray machine.

Im in Iraq and I talked to the Coast Guard. They handle all the customs here. Thet said it was fine to bring back as much as you want as long as you claim it. I bought mine at the finance office here on base. I dont think the us army would screw their own soldiers. If that is the case (which im sure its not) just open a worka account and transfer it electronically.. Really it's not just military that can't bring them back anyone leaving out of Iraq that is mailing their things home. All the mail gets searched by hand and then goes through x-ray machines. And they have it posted big as day about the SOFA AGREEMENT. I know some people get maybe 1 or 2 bills just to take it back home as a give maybe keeping it on them but as far as alot for investment purposes NOT AT ALL THEY WILL CATCH YOU. Take it from someone who knows.

Yes it is true you can not take more than 10,000 in dinars out of the country.
