  1. HAHA!! I'll take that as a compliment!! Count on it, brother! Scooter's roast will be an awsome time...
  2. hmmm, look at the time...the only bagels you can get right now are so stale you could use them for clay pigeons or a hockey puck...sorry...
  3. ...stop complaining about the complaining about the stop complaining about the complaining.... J/K bro, thought it was funny...hehe...
  4. It's a real clash of emotions, my elven friend, excited that things are moving along for us, but sad for Iraqis that stand to lose...
  5. Thank you sir, There's a lot of people on here that are experiencing personal tragedies, this year really hasn't been easy. We are a family on DV, and our prayers go a long way in helping each other. Be encouraged, though. In my experience, hard trials come before the blessing. We will see better days. I believe very soon. Fidelis Ad Mortem
  6. Conk, if you're gonna be the PM, no need for elections!!! I'm in!!!
  7. Well, my muscle-bound sword-weilding, tiger taming friend, since you asked... November 21st was our 12th wedding anniversary, and in years past I would forget and my wife ALWAYS remembered (yes, Jug, the dawghouse). But....THIS year....I remembered and SHE forgot!! Things are gonna go my way for the rest of this year, must mean its... RRRRRVVVVVV TTTTTTIIIIIIIMMMMMEEEEE!!!!!!! (Sorry Dinariac for plagurizing... )
  8. ...crack? That'll crack the engine block of an old cadillac!! That would be your backup weapon when bear hunting...hehe...
  9. ...common sense....but what is common to some, not so common to others....
  10. Not to mention criminal....federal withholding is a direct violation of the 4th amendment...
  11. I'm sorry to hear this. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. My son was diagnosed with leukemia this past July, and I just lost my father to cancer about 2 weeks ago, so we greave together...
  12. Not really, bro, most dept's are making their way/have made their way to the .40 S+W round. I was looking forward to moving onto a heavier round after leaving the big city, but this new dept is also still stuck in "9mm" land. Crap round, unless you get +p+ ammo, just gotta make sure the frame can handle it.
  13. Sig Sauer P226 9mm, which happened to be the same duty carry pistol I retired with from NYPD. It was nice to not have to spend too much time training with a new shoot, the only difference is that the old NYPD version is a DAO with a 12 lb trigger, and this one is a double/single with around a 7 lb trigger.
  14. I have a few... my old Sig Sauer P226 9mm, which was my duty pistol from NYPD (not really good for concealed carry) Smith & Wesson 3954TSW 9mm, pretty decent KelTec P32 .32, which is VERY concealable, and not to bad a round for its diminutive size Kimber PRO-CDP-II 1911 .45, this one is awesome!!! Haven't handled the Springfield personally, but I heard it's a real comfortable shoot...
  15. As a tool, I love Benchmade. I have a 4 inch Ruckus droppoint, it's taken a beating, still sharp as ever... ...but as a tactical weapon, you gotta check out the Microtechs!! WOW they're awesome...
  16. Hey OTF, just curious, is your screenname the acronym for Out-The-Front, as in the auto-switchblades? I carry two, by Microtech...the Makora II for off-duty, and the Combat Troodon while on duty. Truly the BEST OTFs on the market!!
  17. You are spot on. Period. It's like having an irresponsible relative that maxed out his credit card. You step in, pay it off for him, clean slate. It's no surprise one year later, the credit card is maxed out again. The only way the irresponsible relative learns responsibility is by sacrificing, paying off the card through frugality (which, BTW, is not a bad word), and developing self control along the way.
  18. Hi Lori, welcome aboard! Great to meet a fellow believer, you'll find quite a few on here...
  19. The only thing QE1 and QE2 accomplished was point the serfs toward inflation.
  20. Sorry, no turkey for this thanksgiving...
  21. IMHO, the disseminating of circulated bills by these institutions is a GREAT sign!!! It's kinda like getting a bagel at a bakery. Go in the morning, when the supply is high, you get a good fresh bagel. Go at night, right before closing, they give you what's left...a nasty old crusty bagel that'll break your teeth.... It's been a while now that Iraq supposedly closed the lid on dinar escaping the country, and the supply has dwindled. So the banks are giving out the crusty old bagels, that's all they got left! We're so close. I'm getting so excited. If this were a movie, this would be the part where the music starts to crescendo, the last great scene starts to unfold...
  22. My man Dan...I wouldn't buy on eBay because for the most part, there is no way of verifying what you're getting...If I were you, I would explore some way of getting what you have authenticated. Maybe there is a bank somewhere near you that has the De La Rue machine that can do this? I'm not trying to scare you, bro, you know I always try to think with a level head and not overreact. I would just protect myself, there's a LOT of scammers out there, and I'd hate to be the one that went to trade in my dinar, thinking i was a millionaire, and then having my dreams shattered....
  23. Look at the first 2 numbers of the first fortune.... 5.27 is number that was thrown around quite frequently, yes?????
