  1. Well, Al-Sadr better watch his back. Maliki is a lying, conniving, thieving, smuggling, murdering, piece of really bad work. I started to say SOB, but that would be demeaning his mother and I don’t know her, just the madman son of hers.
  2. I hope your crystal ball is right girl!! Now, if you don’t mind, ask it what we all really want to know: WHEN are we going to become wealthy due to our dinar holdings? I don’t know how all of the crystal balls and such works but I’ve known people who put a lot of faith in them. 😊
  3. So, it’s not about capability, it’s about political persuasion. Climate Change, as believed by some, is no more than a gateway to world socialism imho.
  4. SB, as long as the CBI is stuck on 1300, I will be stuck on 1300. When they change, I will as well. Just saying😊 No one on this forum wants this to happen any more than I but I refuse to get excited until the rate changes on the CBI.
  5. Totally agree!!!! Even though I haven’t read anything to back me up, it’s my personal opinion that Maliki is trying to worm his way back into being PM. He and his family were the kings of smuggling, money laundering, corruption, and anything else that was dirty. He is totally to blame for ISIS doing the damage to Iraq and Iraqis. In case you can’t tell, I detest him. 😖😁
  6. Great highlighting Yota and a good article. it did irritate me a bit reading how Kuwait is playing footsie with China. Wonder where China was in 1990 when Saddam invaded them??
  7. The first thought I had when reading this statement was, do they really expect America to pour money and corporate employees into that country when security is almost as bad as it ever was?? Iraq can’t protect their own people much less anyone just working there. Maybe I’m thinking wrongly about it. Correct me if I am. 😁
  8. I’m my opinion, this statement is very interesting! If this means what I presume it means, some Iraqis are waiting/wanting the same as we. Thoughts???
  9. I hope to goodness you and SB are correct in your thinking. For me, it appears they will be happy to get the Dinar back to 1450 or 1470. Having said this, I’d much rather you be right than I. 😊
  10. Just for conversation this morning, what would happen to the Dinar if the US just quit sending dollars to Iraq unless the smuggling stops????
  11. Everything I’ve read, it seems to me when they refer to returning the dinar to former exchange rate, they mean 1470. I’m not interested in this rate unless they intend on moving the decimal point 3 digits to the left.
  12. Imo, the concern of the US is the smuggling of the dollar into Iran, Syria, etc. I’m wondering if the RV or RD wouldn’t be the answer to this problem ??? If the value was 1 Dinar equaled 1 dollar, then the dollar would be out of the equation, right???? Correct me if my thinking is wrong.
  13. A friend of mine said recently , “Something is about to happen. Things can’t keep going in this direction”. I agree. I’m not predicting an RV but it seems to me that the Iraqi people can’t keep getting shafted by the low value of the Dinar. I believe I read that the electronic system will be in place Monday. Maybe the dinar will only go back to 1450 which isn’t a lot of relief, but something must take place to stop the spiraling down of the dinar.
  14. Both countries and Red China are the U.S.’s nemesis so this can’t be good.
  15. Imo, it isn’t a currency war with Iraq, it’s a currency war with Iran. The U.S. means to stop the smuggling of the dollar to Iran because Iraq couldn’t seem to stop it. I knew where this article was going when she slammed capitalism in the first paragraph
  16. I’ve believed all along that Iraq only plans to get the Dollar/Dinar to 1/1450. I don’t like it, want more just as everyone here but just don’t think we are going to see what we want to see for awhile.
