They will probably do what they did with old currency. I was in Iraq when this happened and everyone was given 60 days to convert their currency over to the new. I am just speculating here but that is what happen last time. Take it for what it's worth not much.

To Dustin Hayes, I think you have your years wrong. I believe it was 2004 not 2003 since I was there when the new currency arrived.

Yes but a President who has a cabinet that has 85% of team wth no government experience what so ever. This includes HIM!!!!!! Now he going after NASA and trting to shut it down and turn it over the private sector. Bernanke and he are trying to do away with US Dollar behind our backs and go alnog with a world currency. This man is sneaky and untrustworthy. Being retired military, the untrustworthy portion of this bothers me the most. I can't trust the man because he says one thing one minute and then turns around and retracts the whole subject. He is trying to bring socialism into this country and it starts with the health care. My wife is from a foreign country, now a US citizen and they have socialized medicine. They are also paying 35-40% taxes back to the government. Where else is the money coming from, China!!! We owe them enough as it is right now.

Obama has spent trillions of dollars that we don't have and they will coming out of our pockets. Something is wrong with this picture. My daughter heard him speak here in Washington and at 27 years old, told me the man is a pretty face with no sunstance. Kinda a scary.

I am womdering how this will effect corporations? Our name is not on them persa. I think as Americans we need to get to the point where we as body, tell our government and Obama, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry but I have to ask, how is Air Base Balad these days as I once knew it??? Iwas stationed over there in Balad in 04 with the 81st Brigade , Washington National Guard. Once agan, I have copy of my orders tellng me when I was sent to Iraq but that is it. I guess they would have to do and I am sure good old uncle SAM wouldn't give me to much trouble considering I was protecting them as they see it.

I bought my Dinar in Iraq in 04 while serving there. No one has mentioned to me about any certificates. Mine came straight from the bank, not through any type of mailing system. I have checked around with a few sources and certificates were never mentioned.

But a new congress can repeal laws and taxes and the Health Care Plan. Nothig is set in stone as long as our Constitution stays in tact.

I just got off the XE Exchange online and was sad to see that they are talking about the IQD being redominatied this year by slashing three zeros off the currency. The new lower currency is to be rolled out at the end of this year or next year. Let's hope we get a RV soon.... The lopping was discussed in 2007 in Iraq and they are now taking action on it. I guess it kind of makes sense for Iraq, shave the zero's to be more competitive with the rest of the world which would not require a RV. If I am wrong or someone can correct what I just read, please let me know and I will shut up.

My only question is, how can I get the smaller bills in the US? I am in the state of Washington and having a hard time even finding a bank that will exchange Dinar. when and if this happens (RV), I don't want to be stick with nothing. I served in Iraq in 04 and made my investment while I was there. One of the lucky one's who could get the Dinar exchanged straight from the CBI. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
