Germany equips Peshmerga with weapons and military equipment

BAGHDAD / NINA / German government announced that it supplied / 4 / thousands of Peshmerga fighters with weapons and military equipment.

German Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, according to a statement of the German embassy in Baghdad cited that: "It's because of the humanitarian tragedy that occurred in Iraq and the presence of a real threat in the north, the German government decided to support the Peshmerga forces with arms."

He added that "Germany will continue to support the Peshmerga forces, stressing that the formation of an effective Iraqi government that includes all segments of society will lead to an end to the existence of the Islamic State'"

The statement explained that "it is necessary to find a very clear understanding between countries in the region for a joint action against (IS), in addition to working to prevent the flow of fighters and money to this terrorist organization."

For its part, German Defense Minister, Urso Vone Derain said, according to the statement that "Germany will be equipped / 4 / thousands of fighters from the Peshmerga forces with weapons and equipment which includes protective equipment and means of communication, vehicles and guns and armor-piercing weapons, asserting that the German government is coordinating with its counterparts in Baghdad and Erbil, in addition to the international partners. "

She noted, "The first plane carrying German military aid will fall during the current week in Arbil, followed by other planes will arrive during the current month," ./ end

I think  your  right  staunch ,   I do  believe ,  that  austrialia ,  u.s.   --- iran  ? ---  great britian  ,  { I would have to guess  a few  more  that  hasn`t made  the  news also .....    -----------> 1 2015
