Washington and its dark cloud

For years now this country has been heading for what is facing us and no one appeared concerned but now the sleeping giant is waking up. Washington has had a dark cloud hanging over it for many years and it has sucked all their mentality out of them to govern in a smart, truthful way. For years they have pushed NAFTA free trade agreement and this was started so the corporations could locate in another country enjoy the next to nothing wages and all the while making millions then shipping it back to the US free of charge. If you think i am fooling just pull up our trade deficet with other countries. Washington is killing this country everyday shipping our jobs to other countries free trade and we are getting the worst end of the deal

Now the legistlators in Washington has lost touch with their people that they are supposed to represent. They are insulated from the cries of the hurting because they rely on advisors who tell them lies. Senators do not get out in the neighborhoods and look around for themselves like they used to unless its campaign time. They have a minister offer a prayer before each session and then set out to see how much damage they can do. They do not have enough mentality to see that if a man has no job he can't work and if he can't work he pays no taxes and if there is less and less taxes then the coffers start to get empty. They feil to see why the people are angry and are ready to put a stop to it more than anytime in our history. If you don't think the golden goose was laid out for the corporations just think for a minute, remember the S&L scandle in the early 1980's who bailed them out. Remember the Enron scandle and the Lehman Bros, Bank of America, Chase, GM all many more were given money for their own mistakes. Remember what happened after they got the money they started laying people off taking away their jobs. Billions of your tax money was handed out and not a one of these people has been put in jail or had to answer for it. Every bank was required to take money for bad loans even the ones who never ask for a penny. We have become the losers at the expense of the corporations and the sound judgement that Washington uses daily. Your congressman has put the whammy on you and you wasn't supposed to know it. Talk about people being mad, each year more and more kids graduate college looking for a job in their fields and they were told all along that there would be a one open well guess what their college degrees is cooking at McDonalds. The unemployed is filling up the ranks and they are getting fed up with it. How long will this nation suffer and i am talking about the working class people before everyone is ready to demand change, not ask for it demand it. Do you remember how the Constitution starts out, Remember this.....WE THE PEOPLE.... not us the senators. Washington has a dark cloud of evil hanging over it and it going to get worse if America don't demand change. Now is the time for TERM LIMITS on all govt positions from this day forward........Heavyduty053

I totally agree with you Heavyduty. We all need to get serious about changing all the people in Washington. They do not have the best interest of the country. It would take getting all out in short order, because they just take the freshmen and tell them how Washington works (wink, wink) even though most go to Washington with good intentions, they get corrupted or get run out on a rail, scandal or otherwise if they don't play the game. It may just take a rev-o-lution.

Right there with ya.... People voted for CHANGE & it got EVEN worse...

I think we need to do some heavy spring cleaning of ALL parties & get rid of garbage. Problem is that people are schmoozed into believing what idiots in power tell them. DANG ! We definitely need a change from the change.
