Iran rejects accusations by US Defense Secretary on arming Iraq rebels

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Monday rejected accusations by US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta that Iran had armed rebels in neighboring Iraq.

"The United States is not in a good position in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are doing everything they can to maintain their military presence in these two countries," a source told Alsumaria.

"The United States is facing a wave of hostility from Iraq's people, government and political parties. They must leave Iraq by the end of 2011 and Afghanistan by 2014," he concluded.

Funny how the guy changed the subject. I'm sure we could prove that what we said was true so Iran, acting much like N. Korea, sounds off like a spoiled brat.
