EBJNYC
Hell no -- the REVENUE generated by taxing the "RICH" is a bunch of bull -- $900 Billion over TEN YEARS -- heck the INTEREST on 14 TRILLION -- National debt -- PER YEAR is AT LEAST A TRILLION. Obama has SPENT 3 TRILLION since taking office. Taxing the rich to REDUCE the National Debt is a joke -- this is the NWO's way of starting a CLASS WAR which ultimately will end in a two tier STATE CAPITALISM model like China -- with the ELITE in TOTAL control of all wealth and private property and ELIMINATION of FREE MARKETS -- don't be fooled. parmenio
Looks like in 2012 both parties may have to take a blood bath in the polls if this passes. Edited December 11, 2010 by parmenio
sblevine
NO! too much spending attached. Wait until January and have a pristine, clean, unadulterated bill with no earmarks! We all need to learn how to spend wisely. With the eminent RV, we will all be tempted to live beyond our means. We want our wealth to last a lifetime and be passed to our next generation(s). If we don't learn the lesson Congress needs to learn, in a few years post-RV, we will all be back working jobs we don't like, earning money for our boss/company to enjoy, paying a mortgage to a bank that has been paid over and over again simply because we signed the paperwork, and pinching every penny! 1

hopefullbk
I'm always amazed at politicians. Every one of them, no matter what letter they have behind their name, always tells you to vote for them because they will stand against raising taxes, they will fight to lower the national debt because they hate debt, and they will stop the crazy entiltement and spending programs. So we vote for them because that is clearly logical thinking. Yet what do the tax payers/citizens end up with..................you guessed it. HIGH TAXES, HUGE DEBT AND MORE SPENDING AND ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS!!!! Ridiculous. FIRE them ALL and start over with folks who mean what they say.
