bigwave
BREAKING: Trump ends US China trade war; swaps Hong Kong for California in unprecedented deal Washington DC—After months of growing trade Tensions between the US and China leading to an impending global recession, along with mounting strife in China’s Hong Kong province prompting dissidents to wave American flags, US President Donald Trump has negotiated quite possibly the biggest deal of his life. The US will trade the entire state of California for Hong Kong in a flat exchange. “Basically everyone in California wants to be commies and Hong Kong citizens want to be American, so we did what we call a win-win-win and traded the two in a tremendous deal,” Trump said in a press conference announcing the unprecedented deal. Markets responded with a complete turnaround from recent declines and posted record numbers. Californians and Hong Kong citizens were dancing in their respective streets—Californians happy about the "Social Credit System" that grades citizens on their behavior and loyalty to the government, and being run by the Communist Party finally!—and Hong Kong citizens happy about being part of the free world once again. The deal includes an opt out for anyone currently living in California or Hong Kong. Californian's have 90 days to move to another state, and Hong Kong citizens have 90 days to move to China (yeah right, like THAT's gonna happen). Many of the high tech companies like Apple and Google are remaining in California and joining the Communist Party. Many others are moving to states like Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, etc. Oh wait, they were already doing that. Never mind. Guess it will be business as usual in California. Except for watching your "Social Credit Score" closely if you are a citizen, and watching for the Communist Party member who will sit on your Board of Directors to make sure you "follow party policies" if you are a business. And then I woke up..... 2
