Baghdad, June 21 (AKnews) - "The alliance between State of Law and National coalition created a political crisis in the country instead of solutions," al-Iraqiya list led by the former PM stated on Monday.

"The alliance between the National Coalition and State of Law created a political crisis in the country instead of finding solutions to the problem," the spokesman of the list haidar al-Mulla said.

"The next government can not emerge except through the recognition of the Iraqi constitution, and any attempt to neglect the results is a coup against the Constitution and the political process."

The outgoing prime minister and the head of State of Law said yesterday that "the National Alliance didn't choose its candidate for prime minister yet," noting that "there's no agreement so far and there is urgency to settle this issue through serious meetings that end by naming the prime minister. "

We are not interested in the controversy between the coalitions and we stand for convergence between the political blocs," calling the coalitions to "admit the constitutional right of al-Iraqiya to form the government," al-Mulla added.

"The national partnership government will be formed during the next stage and we have a clear program that does not depend on the formation of the government on the basis of the four winning blocs but it will include all political blocs."

The outgoing prime minister Nuri al-Maliki announced the rejection of his coalition for the idea of nominating more than one candidate for the PM post adding: "There must be a single candidate for prime minister, and the idea of going to the parliament with multi-candidates is a rejected idea and can not be accepted because it is contrary to the Constitution. "

If al-Iraqiya was assigned to form the government, its spokesman said that "the list will open, according to law, all the previous files depending on the principle that no one is above the law."

According to the interpretation of the Federal Court of the term "the largest parliamentary bloc," which will be assigned to form a government, as in Article 76 of the Iraqi Constitution, it is either the bloc that was formed after the elections by one electoral list and had participated in the elections in a certain name and number, and had earned the most number of seats, or the bloc that was made by allying two or more than two electoral lists, which participated in the elections with different names and numbers and then united in a single block with a single entity in the Parliament .

The debate now is over: who is authorized to form the next government, while Al-Iraqiya bloc confirms its right, based on Article 76 of the Constitution, while the two Shiite alliances insist on this right based on the interpretation of the Federal Court.
