Kut Chamber of Commerce has set up in collaboration with the reconstruction team to maintain the first Economic Forum with the participation of representatives and heads of government and private banks. Said Julian Weiner official U.S. Agency for International Development for the 'morning:

Chamber of Commerce has set up in collaboration with the Kut province reconstruction team (PR T) the first Economic Forum under the slogan (the role of banks in supporting private sector).

The seminar attended by representatives of the heads of private banks and government branches of the rational and Iraq and a number of owners of capital and traders in the province.

He pointed out that the U.S. government has earmarked some 200 million dollars to support the banking sector in Iraq, noting that funding is very important for banks, but does not solve the administrative problem in some cases, for this we have adopted during this seminar to clarify the modern methods in the banking systems in place in developed countries.

He said the reconstruction team focused during the seminar to give an opportunity for private banks and government for creating and building a vital economy is free.

He continued: The participants in the seminar recommended the need to change the banking system currently in place in Iraq distasteful regimes more sophisticated and unlock economic development in all countries of the world in front of Iraqi banks and to the lifting of all recommendations to the authorities Aliyah in the global banking system.
