Oil and Energy Committee, revealed parliamentary Wednesday, returning the draft oil and gas law to Cabinet for modifications imposed by the circumstances, including the recent agreement concluded between the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, during the visit fruitful negotiations Minister of oil Abdul-Mahdi in ARP's.

Mu'arij noted that "the Government has sent the oil Minister to the House of representatives, in meetings Thursday and Monday to brief lawmakers on the details of the agreement." Stresses that the "agreement is included in the national paper that commits the Government to pay the advance funding to the region of Kurdistan with delivery of oil to the Federal Government to implement during the month of the formation of the Government."

The Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on (November 13, 2014), agreement with the Baghdad Government to resolve the "comprehensive and just solution to the problems between the two sides, saying that the Federal Government will pay for the region of $ 500 million, with the territorial Government will be 150,000 barrels of crude per day at the disposal of the Federal Government.
