ISIL oil production worth $800 mln per year: Report

The oil production of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) is estimated to be worth $800 million per year, according to a new analysis by an international analytics firm, the IHS.

ISIL’s oil production brings in roughly $2 million per day, according to the report.

“Oil fuels ISIL’s war machine, notably including the military vehicles vital to its movements and fighting capabilities,” according to the IHS analysis.

“Oil directly finances ISIL’s myriad activities and encourages the activities of middlemen who sell, transport and export the oil and thus have a vested interest in ISIL,” the analysis states.

ISIL controls around 350,000 barrels per day in Iraq and Syria, but the IHS estimates it is only able to produce roughly 50,000 to 60,000 barrels.

The group’s refining capacity is unclear, according to the IHS.

It's just a matter of time, Snowglobe7. They will be all gone. They need to sanction the oil revenues from them, make it illegal to purchase oil from them. I don't understand why it has not happened. There has got to be a way to do that.

It's just like big business in America. 

It is illegal to hire illegal immigrants! So big business hires, or starts contract companies that can not be traced back to them: and go around the laws!

Everyone knows they are breaking the law but no one wants to stop it!

Pays off's to immigration officals, politicans, city officials allow them to keep their new slave labor force.

Without jobs, free money for food, free education, housing assistance the illegal immigrates would not stay!

 

You could send a bus with immigrantion officers to any major/minor hotel, construction site or country club and bust 100's every day of the week. Of course, that would put them out of business! LOL

It is so wrong, we need more people with a with morals and to stick with it. The rich get richer and the poor get fu..ked. This is why everything is so fu..ked up in my opinion. What a world we live in.
