BAGHDAD / Nina /--Former commander of the British armed forces in Iraq , Gen. David Richards stated that "the resolution of the war against Daash requires the participation of western land forces to give a real support .

He said in a televised statement that "air strikes against Daash can not resolve the war noting that it is impossible to achieve complete victory through air strikes only. / End
