During a newscast Thursday, Dave Benton told viewers of WCIA-TV in Champaignthat doctors recently told him that his brain tumor is too large for surgery or radiation. He says he'll try a new treatment to slow the tumor's growth, but that his goal is to add "a few more days and make them the best they can be." Benton has a wife and two adult children. He grew up in Addison, a Chicago suburb, and graduated from Northern Illinois University. Benton's online biography says he has worked at the station for nine years.

gymrat76541
I do not think this is appropriate for him to bring his personal life into the news room! Best of luck regardless!
Pablo404
There are multiple German. Swiss and Italian clinics that treat cancer naturally & "cure" blastomas and ghioblastomas - multiforma. Belief in the AMA and FDA and the scare tactics of the ''cut'', "poison", and "burn" practice of medicine is only exceeded by the fact doctors can lose their licenses for merely mentioning alternative methods that are painless and non-toxic as practiced in Europe and Asia. Too much $$$ is at stake for these doctors and the pharmaceutical companies - many Billions here in the US. No one guarantees 100% - cures, especially here. In Europe the costs for equivalent treatments are usually less than 5% of the US costs plus the airfare plus the ability for alternative methods. No, I do not 'practice' medicine in any shape nor manner. Talk with your doctor but if you have cancer, do your research...it is YOUR life or a LOVED one. Then ask your doctor what he or she would do in your situation and attempt to get an honest answer. I Have. Germany in the fall will be beautiful.
