Erbil, April 29 (AKnews) – The Financial Commission Chief of Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution has announced today that the Commission demanded the Province governors to provide pieces of land for the returned people in dispute areas of Kurdistan.

“We have submitted a statement to the Disputed Areas leaders for providing the returned people pieces of lands in the dispute places,” Narmin Othman said.

“The Iraqi Government has decided to provide the returned people pieces of land in the permanent dispute locations in Iraq, but the decision faced several obstacles at the time, so the article 140 financial commission demanded the central government to revive the decision again,” she added.

“The decision has come into power in some locations which the governors provide the returned exile people pieces of land,” she concluded.

The article 140 is the constitutional article which is about the dispute locations between the Central government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Erbil.
