Basel lll for Dummies (and those who think it is obstructing an "RV"

Apparently goo roos are grasping at straws to clean up their histrionic proclamations. Apparently many of them don't understand Basel lll and in their own little narcissistic way, assume you don't either. Its crazy making to read statements like the US or Iraq or Venus is now fully compliant. No it isn't. Not fully. The expectation date to be fully complaint is 2019 and NO the date was not kicked out for the smaller countries... 

 

In any event, here is a great little video explaining the mechanics of Basel lll. You'll note it never once mentions the monetary policy of a central bank, who in turn is the agency responsible for all things currency. 

 

Just cause the goo roos play stupid doesn't mean any of us have to stay stupid with them.....
