FXStockpiling
Iraqi Man Builds $24,000 Homemade Helicopter That He Will Patrol Borders With An Iraqi man has put his money and aviation knowledge to the test by constructing a homemade helicopter which he plans on flying to patrol the Iraqi border. Hatim Kadim Salam, 59, is spending 30 million Iraqi dinars, or $24,000, on the homemade helicopter. Salam is building the flying machine in Muqdadiyah, a city of 300,00 located 60 miles north of Baghdad in Iraq. He has called the homemade helicopter Diyala 1, after its home province. Salam’s helicopter looks sketchy as BLEEP, and only boasts two blades, as opposed to the regular four. There are no signs of any gun mounts, meaning that he’d be a sitting duck in the sky with no way of protecting himself from the people he’s observing. We wish the best for Mr. Salam, as his intentions seem good-willed. We sure as BLEEP aren’t getting in that rusty looking whirly bird, however. http://elitedaily.com/elite/2012/iraqi-man-builds-homemade-helicopter-24000-helicopter-patrol-borders/

krome2ez
I say kudos to the man. To fulfill a dream is difficult enough. To fulfill a dream in a country such as Iraq, is miraculous.
