BAGHDAD (Iba) .. Vice President of the Economic Committee in the House that the economic transformation can be seen in Iraq post-elections in the event of implementation of policies and programs agreed upon with the introduction of important laws, which carried over into the next parliament.

He Kanna told the independent press (Iba) said on Wednesday that the speedy implementation of economic plans will be able to change and development and able to turn the challenges facing the economy in Iraq, particularly fruitful opportunities to spell a catastrophe for investment issues. Indicating there is a need to promote sustainable development programs.

He said it was without diminishing the importance of the efforts made to push forward the economic reform steps forward, there is of the opinion that the results for some of the issues to be unsatisfactory. Pointing to the absence of strategic vision, broad and comprehensive in some cases, the relevant question.

He explained that there is a need to support the private industrial sector and meet the challenges and the liberalization of the industry and the protection of national production and local consumer. Formats required to help the industry to return to Iraq again and develop their potential and capabilities.

And we noted the importance of obtaining appropriate legislation to implement economic reform and move towards a market economy through the harmonization of legislation currently in force to the requirements of the new system. (End) / 20 /
