As per Al Jazeera live stream report moments ago: Speaker of Parliament Nujaifi announced they would progress to the Presidential vote. Iraqiya bloc abruptly got up & walked out. No word, as yet, on how this will affect the procedures in moving forward.

That's the latest I've heard, too. Nujaifi has been officially voted in and formally announced as Speaker of Parliament (step 1), as per Al Jazeera live stream. Next, Maliki and Talabani will have to formally be voted in for their positions. Then they will be free to create the position for Allawi. Jikes .... Iraqiya bloc has just walked out prior to presidential vote when Nujaifi announced they would be progressing to the presidential vote.

Dinar Trade site is still allowing you the option of purchasing online via a COD shipment arrangement, so you would still be place the order with pre-RV pricing. IMO

For those of you last minute shoppers ... I just googled dinar trade & the site appears as if it can still accept orders. Prices are quoted with the pre RV 11/11/10 date, & it does state that orders placed online will have their rate locked.

Best I can tell from the articles I've seen is that while we have news breaking worldwide tonight, tomorrows meeting/announcements must still occur. Talibani will still have to formally announce Maliki as the official new Prime Minister. Maliki would then take over and make the official announcements regarding placement of all the individuals in their respective positions for the new government. What we're all HOPING to hear ... please, please, please ... would be for Maliki to continue after all this is said and done and announce the RV. Best case scenerio!
