OK, my ears have perked up!!! Not going crazy just yet ........... yet!!! Let's GO RV!!

The news continues to appear very, very promising, so let's hope they keep this moving and moving quickly now. Been in this since 2006, so my patience has been long, but I, as well as all of us out here, are ready for this ride to come to an end!!! This would certainly be an extremely welcome reward for what was a 'when' not 'if' chance I took back then. We've kinda seen things like this before, and then wait and wait, but this certainly seems to be the final loop on this rollercoaster, cuz I'm ready to get on the next ride now! Merry Christmas to everyone (or whatever else), and I look forward to celebrating this with y'all!! CHEERS!!! GO RV!!!

Hopefully this is finally IT!!! Lots of stops and starts and stops again, but we’re still here, waiting. Not only will this be worth the wait for us, it will also be for the Iraqi people! Been in this (owned dinar) since about 2006. I'm not going anywhere! I've had friends try and tell me to 'exchange' my dinar with some contact they have, that it's going to RV and get the best rate, blah blah blah. I don't know if they've sold theirs and got screwed or still holding, but I haven't heard them talk for a long time. IMO, I have always been of the opinion of no LOP. Makes no sense. It may take a bit, but an increase in value is what I see. I don't see them continuing on at this rate of exchange for much longer. They can't. Well they could, but they don't want to be a 3rd world country anymore, not with the likes of their red-headed bastard step-child, Kuwait, swimming in riches and they aren't, when they have SO MUCH MORE than Kuwait does??? A float might be the case but only after an initial jump to somewhere between .10 and 1:1, then up from there. Although the chances for it to go like Kuwait did is always a possibility too. But what do I know? BUT if they want investment, infrastructure building, and to be a world player, the value would have to increase substantially. They have an ego. BIG EGO. And with the time it seems to be taking to make this happen, this should be good for us. They want....errr NEED...to get it right. I hope this goes very soon as we all do, but I also want them to make this solid and do it right. If I have to keep doing my thang, I will. Not counting any chickens... Keeping cautiously optimistic, and for the love a...... GO RV!!!!!! Thanks Adam for all your updates and excited to start investing BIG TIME! Let's do this already, Iraq!!!

Thanks for the update, Adam. I'm reading positive developments and other good things that seem to be moving this process along faster than ever, so your update confirms what I'm hearing. Thinking positive thoughts that this is going to happen soon! VERY soon! Ugh, the damn S word, but it will happen. Doing my thing while letting things out of my control happen! GO RV!!!!

Trust me, there are many times I keep seeing posts from 'Guru's' stating this, that and the other and I wonder if this is EVER going to happen too. Logic tells me they need to increase their value. I just don't see them not increasing with the resources they have. Now what that ends up being is anyone's guess, as we all know. I try and not dwell on this since it's out of my control, I just go about my life as if this isn't going to happen for another long while, cuz it might not. I've owned IQD since about 2006 or 7, been with Adam here since 2010, and have tried to follow what's going on best I can. I don't understand, nor do I pretend to, everything needing to be done still that they haven't yet completed, but figuring out paying the Kurds, HCL/Erbil, is going to be important for one, stopping the corruption in the GIO is another, getting Maliki OUT, and so on. Some say they will have to float the currency and let it gradually rise with demand and investment into Iraq, but then I'm not sure how you can have investment if the return is only slightly higher than the value is now. I've heard much about many companies, and countries signing contracts, or wanting to come in to rebuild, bring them into the 21st Century so to speak, and much more. I'm no economist, but I just see if I'm going to invest in infrastructure or whatever, I want to make sure it's going to be worth a good ROI! So the value must be increased. I think Iraq is coming to a crossroads. I think they will need to come out at around 1:1, personally, in order to get off the USD, then it can rise from there. Or come out at a rate similar to what Kuwait did years ago when they revalued or reinstated at like $3.60+/- (??) and they have much less in resources than Iraq does. I don't know, I may be wrong, we all may be wrong. But many who follow this much more closely and relay info, and have sources inside Iraq and so on, say a lot of these very positive things and they are happening soon. Very soon. Let's hope very soon.

Don't worry - we all wish this would of happened years ago. I for one, who've had IQD since 2007, want this as much as anybody, but also know if this takes 10 more years (oh lord I hope not), it's what it is and there's nothing we can do about it. Hang in there, be positive, it'll happen, then all these years of disappointment will vanish away!!

Ok all, JUST SAW THIS ON THE NEWS! Trump is now on the ground in Iraq!!! To meet with our troops for Christmas and to meet with senior officials on both sides! Let’s hope something really really good happens with this visit!! It is about 14:30 EST on 12/26/18 as I write this.

It's not really 2 steps forward 1 step back. It's more like 2 steps forward. Stand. Wait for a bit. Then take another 2 steps forward. Then one step back. Wait.......Wait more. Then 2 more steps forward.....and so on! We're getting there. Patience, my friends, Patience. I'm thankful I'm in on this opportunity. I'm thankful for what I have now (health, family, friends, etc.), and will be even more grateful when this happens and to be able to give back! Yes, and if we look at what Kuwait did when they revalued and it shot up to $3+ from what i remember, a lot of people who bought in then made out great! I'm pretty sure Kuwait's got nothing but oil to offer the world, soooo Iraq is in a good place from what I can tell. The more they tighten things up, the more solid this currency speculation should be, and hopefully the more profitable for those of us opportunistic enough, and hopefully wise enough, to get in. I looked and researched this more than 10 years ago , and been with Adam here since early 2010, Platinumed myself, yes, my word, so I believe this should be a very good investm...., ummmm, opportunity for all of us!! Me too. I am also a FIRM BELIEVER THAT THE IQD HAS TO BE ABOVE A 1:1, BUT I checked on a couple diff sites to compare and contrast, and saw this yesterday. Here's an analysis from some "Guru" whom I don't believe I've heard of before, (I love these guys coming out of the woodwork to inject their worth who we have no, or little track record of credibility, credible sources or anything else), whom I saw wrote this on another site (I'm sure many people here have seen it too since they also follow everything Dinar, to confirm info from as many sources as they can - although I feel we have the best here - but I digress). To paraphrase, since I don't want to give any credit of linked info to another site, here's the gist: "Sam....." responded to a question: "Do you think we'll ever make any money from the Dinar?" In which he responded: "Nobody will get rich from owning Dinar. It's possible to make a profit if the CBI decides to raise the value like In Nov. 2006-2009, but it's unlikely they will. But if they do, it doesn't justify the risks, IMO." (I disagree) He then goes on to say most dinar investors don't understand currency speculation or what a revaluation is. (Me) Well I do know that Iraq has a TON of oil, AND Nat. Gas, AND precious metals, and so on, more so than most of all other Mid East countries, and most incl the Saudis, UAE, Qatar, and others which are around .27 to the dollar. Kuwait is $3.29, Jordan is $1.41, Libyan Dinar is .71, Oman is $2.60, Tunisian Dinar .34, and many others worth around the current IQD, and many are less. I understand that Iraq wants to conduct business with oil sales in dinar, not the dollar, so the dinar HAS to have a value to it, not 1/100 or even 1/10 to the dollar. Anyway, (he continues) that the IQD is pegged so it only goes up if the CBI raises the value, and de-pegs only if it is diversified and not reliant on petroleum. Really? Then explain to me how Kuwaitis Dinar is worth $3.29 to $1 as of right now, and all they have is petroleum, and Jordan is $1.41, Oman is $2.60? Iraq has much more to offer than these other countries in Nat. Gas, and precious metals beyond just oil. I don't know how Saudi Arabia and UAE are so wealthy with only .27 to the dollar either? I'm no economist so I don't understand exactly how this works. I also just don't see how Kuwait, Oman and Jordan can be above 1:1 and IQD not? (Anyway, he goes on....) He says a de-pegging would destroy Iraq, and the dinar is floating, but not 'free-floating' like the dollar and euro. he goes on to say that the IMF has stated the IQD is valued where it should be based on foreign curr. reserves of $50B and M1 money supply of $70T and that it rightly valued at 1/10 of a penny. Goes on to say they will float it, managed, and flex policies will lead to an increase, but in exch rate not value and the CBI can adjust that rate. Can you, or anyone, tell me why he's right or wrong, and why, or what I'm missing, since I am NOT an economist, accountant or anything of the like? I've pointed out a couple things that are confusing to me (bolded), but I could easily be wrong since I don't understand the nuances of how currency value works. All I know is based on a couple things he said, it is counter to logic to me, or what Adam and many 'Guru's' have said. Again, I am still a firm believer that the IQD will go above 1:1. Hey Chuck!! My feelings are too, 2019, BUT hope for this year!! HCL, Art 140, getting to Chap 8, ridding the corruption, etc. Rate IDK, I know very little about how currency and economics technically work, BUT, I think you allow possible corruption (sales of counterfeit dinar) and a run on purchasing dinar and more people trying to get in on the get rich quick bandwagon as the rest of us have speculated for years, if it comes out too low, like .10 or something. I think more of a 1:1 makes more sense to me logically, but again, what do I know? Hoping for 3+, but aren't we all! Hope to meet you, and Adam, et al, soon! Some RV PARTY somewhere to celebrate would be a blast!!

Many folks talk about needing to educate the people before this will happen, but I would hope that that has been going on for the last couple/few years. Slowly letting the citizens know what is to come, how it's going to change their lives, and how they will be competing in the world, and doing commerce as the world does. Why would they wait til they're ready to pull the trigger? Crash courses wouldn't be prudent. I hope they are ready to go, just finish up the HCL so everybody in Iraq can benefit, like the Kuwaitis do, and so on, get GOI in place, aaaaaaand GO!! I have a feeling they will wait for the new year? Who knows? Crypto has been around for a long time, App pays, Frequent Flier Miles and such are all cryptos so it's really not just finances, it's also technologies, so I don't see it going away. I see it growing and being more and more widely used. Probably one or 2 main 'currencies' will be BTC or Etherium or whatever, but I feel there will be many other 'crypto's' for emerging technologies that will continue being developed with blockchain and others. There will DEFINITELY be a shake out of smaller and more useless cryptos, as in anything, but it's not going anywhere, IMO. Let's get this RV/RI whatever, going!!!! I've got some investing to do!!!
