Greedy D. I really dont know I have been in this since May 2005, and i have always heard we are getting close. Well how close do we have to get for this to happen. It has been over 15 years of " we are getting close " .... I personally dont think it will happen but here I am hoping I am wrong. Yes I follow this site, but its the same thing a lot of people reading between the lines to make them feel better about putting money down on worthless paper. The commander of my base back in 2005 said that when it revalues it will come out at .28cents per dinar and go up from there. Well as you can see it hasn't. I apologize if you thought I was in the military. I wasn't I spent my time over there as a Firefighter and also worked at South Baghdad Post Office. I guess I never had the balls to join up. God bless the soldiers who did.
PS. I really hope this devalues but I really dont think it will happen. Yes that's my opinion and if anybody wants to give me a down arrow for my opinion. I really dont care. What is with this up arrow down arrow stuff? I am an adult I dont care what anybody feels about my post.

Where does everyone get that they have no electricity? I have been all over Iraq and all of the convoys I have been in all I have seen was houses with satellite dishes on them and window ac. I spent 3 yrs over there and ya it's a dirt bowl but they have TV which I would have to say they have electric to power the TV and air conditioning.

Somebody's else's opinion hurt your feelings? If so dont read the negative post. Just because you have rose colored glasses on doesn't mean that everyone has those glasses on. I see what is written and comment on it. I dont read between the lines to make me feel better, and I am sure others do the same thing.

The way I read it,,,, iraq is broke (no payment for Kuwait till there is money)..... so no RV for us. Dont mean to take a tinkle on your corn flakes.

Not me, I would take the money out of my savings, because savings account dont make as much interest as you would pay on a loan. And rent out the house for 25% than my payment would have been if I borrowed the money. Still putting the same amount in my pocket without having to pay the loan back at the high interest if I would have borrowed the funds.

Yup neither do I. If they need to borrow money, they are broke and cant afford a RV. If it were to RV just think how much they would be paying out on the dinar which was bought at a very very low price.

Am I reading this correctly, the dinar is becoming even more worthless? I know some are going to say "it's just smoke and mirrors". I wish I had on rose colored glasses so I could read the rosie side of everything. I cant. but yes I am still here waiting,

Did I read that right? If I dont have VIP I wont be alerted of a RV in a timely manner? I thought text messages were going out, at least someone would come out and say on thou regular site " yahoo it RV'd"

Yup you are correct. But when people get excited it gives them a warm and fuzzy feeling. I have lost all hope for the warm and fuzzy feeling. I stopped trying to read between the lines in these news reports, ya it gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling when you do, but I cant anymore.
