Thanks for all the posts bigwave.  We lost a uncle who was a Houston Firefighter.   He was search and rescue and developed lung cancer and died 6 years later after breathing that foul air for 3 weeks  Great man and I will never forget!!

I will never forget how researching 9/11 opened my eyes to the wickedness associated with men I had once held in the highest regard. Very disillusioning.

Some enlightening/disillusioning material is found in the Project for the New American Century report ...

Musk is right that dirty bitcoins and clean Teslas don’t sit well together

The currency is an environmental abomination and investors should be pleased the founder has said so

FWIW in the last 2 month's I've sold 2/3 of my BTC holdings.  Pres Biden has said all policy decisions will be made from the perspective of a) their environmental/green impact and, b) gender ramifications.

At that point (two months ago) BTC was just beginning to get flak for its energy intensive properties.  Seems media attacks in this regard are picking up steam.

I may eventually regret it but for now at least I'm glad I've dropped most it.  Teeka Tiwari as of a month ago thought it would still climb to $100K or more, so I kept a third of my position just in case.

Whatever, most of my BTTC was bought at $12,000 and $20,000 so I've come out just fine.

Am glad XRP is on the right side of the energy line.

Erbil announces that it has delivered all oil data to Baghdad: We are committed to transparency

Shafaq News / The Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Saturday, that it had delivered all data on oil and non-oil revenues and expenditures, in addition to electronic data on the region's employees.

Government spokesman Jotiar Adel said in a statement received by Shafaq News, that the Kurdistan Regional Government renews its commitment to all the duties that result from it and its belief in the transparency adopted by the work program of the ninth cabinet.

He added that its affirmation of its obligations comes at a time when the issue of approving the general Iraqi budget has reached its final stages, after lengthy dialogues with all concerned parties.

Adel explained that the regional government provided the Finance Committee in the Iraqi parliament last December, with all the details related to oil revenues and expenditures, based on the audit and follow-up report carried out by the international "Deloitte" company.

He continued by saying that the regional government also sent figures related to non-oil revenues from the crossings and other areas, in addition to electronic data on the numbers of the region's employees.

Adel affirmed the territorial government's commitment to the principle of transparency, referring to the answers to all questions received from the Federal Ministries of Finance and Oil, as well as the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives.

And he expressed the regional government's readiness to answer any other question related to this issue in order to clear the ambiguity that has an impact on the path of understanding and agreement between the two sides.

Last December, Baghdad and Erbil reached an agreement on the financial budget, stipulating that the region hand over 250 thousand barrels of oil per day, and half of the revenues from border crossings and others to the federal government, in exchange for a share in the budget of 12.6 percent.

The agreement was included in the draft budget, but political blocs in Parliament reject the agreement, which hinders its passage in Parliament.

We now have electricity and grateful to have it again.  Still have no water but turning on the lights is good.

We were here without Electricity for 36 hours.  We had other means to heat our home but for those who have nothing my heart goes out to them.  9 degrees in Houston = -40 in NYC.  Do that with no heat or electricity and you should be able to see how dangerous a situation it is for many paeople.

Just said a prayer of gratitude that we've had uninterrupted utilities here in So. Indiana.  We have our electricity, natural gas and water, so far with continual operation.  Supposed to get down to 8 degrees tonight.

We generally get one cold snap each winter when temps fall to single digits for 2 or 3 days.  Helps keep bugs (particularly mosquitoes) under control in the following summer season so for us it's actually a blessing.

The issue is Texas doesn't normally have 0 degrees with windchills in the -40 range. It is not funny when people die which is bound to happen before this is over. In Minnesota, I'm quite sure everyone expects your weather and is therefore prepared with the proper clothes, etc.

You may think we're overreacting but my son lost a young calf to the weather today - it's not funny to him or anyone else trying to protect family members, livestock and pets.

Making a joke at someone else's hardship is not what I call "funny". Actually, I think it shows an extreme lack of humanity.

    :cowboy2:

Small edit - the statement above does not apply to the Texas Panhandle where this kind of weather is common place in winter.

This may be of help to few animal owners, but:  Many years ago my  grandfather had a sow with piglets and during a cold snap he strung up a high wattage light bulb over them.  The heat from that light bulb was enough to keep them from freezing to death.

Prayers to all and their animals suffering from cold at this time.

    Now finish it!!!!!

Good morning Yota and thank you!!!! :D

Could anyone give me a Cliff Notes summary of "RV For Dummies" in terms of all the above articles from Iraq; what are they trying to say?  How does it bear on us Dinar investors?  Are they saying we'll be able to sell out Dinar bank notes and actually be able to make a (probably small) profit off of them?

    Many Thanks from Mike!

  7. I agree Chuck.  The U.S. now is in the same place that Germany was, in late 1933.  At that point Hitler had seized control of German radio and newspapers through Joseph Goebbels and the Ministry of Propaganda.  Our national media are servants of the Left and globalism, whose goal is to eventually overturn the U.S. Constitution and bring about One World Government, the vaunted "New World Order".

NEPatriotsfan : 1000% agree. What Polar said was essentially one of the other reason we fought a Civil War over. The Dems in the south wanted to change the political system in America, as America as a whole was moving away from slavery, as was European countries,  et al. The country wanted a referendum to end slavery , and the Confederate States did not. It was tough because the economic agricultural power was largly in the South at that point. Thus they seceded, and Americans died as the war was fought. Eventually the best thing to have been done to heal this country was a return to the Constitutional Democratic Republic that we had and trusted before. THIS time around, the trust in our "secure" voting system must be re-established to avoid nationwide modern civil unrest. So this election systems fraud must go through the courts to expose the foundation of election fraud and its sponsors.

    Well said, Kevin.
