In all actuality the ISO 37001 certification is way more progress than ISO 9001 and 2015 criteria at that.. If it has the word international anywhere near it bring a rain coat cuz the dawg is gonna start humping your leg he is sooo excited.

  4. All this points out is that Kurds cannot be self-sufficient. If they cannot pay their salaries while waiting for Baghdad then they are not self-sufficient and the referendum to be a sovereign nation is just show. They kind of revealed their cards a little too early. They think by trying to leverage the financial aspect they will manipulate their denizens to vote for the referendum for a sovereign state. Unless the Kurds can show they financially sustainable, they will be just another third world seeking the teet of the civilized world thus a burden on us all.

  5. Call this a parade? Wow, I would hate to see what you would do when the RV really happens. Pumping people up for trivial things like an ISO 9001 certification is no better than being a dinar pumper. I pissed on no parade. If you don't know what ISO 9001 is then it does a disservice to pump everyone up because the word "international" appears in the title. I knew about ISO in 1990's it had greater status back then. Now it's just a checkbox for the tallymen.ISO is something to have but it's nothing to have an orgasm over.

What Are 10 Reasons Why You Need ISO 9001 Certification?

ISO 9001 is a worldwide standard administered by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), based in Switzerland. ISO 9001 is currently in use by over one million organizations around the world! It is truly a world wide standard for quality! Obtaining ISO 9001 certification puts your company in a very select group.

ISO 9001 is so widely used today it is akin to saying you have a kitchen sink so you are in a very select group. It used to be a gold standard not so much now it has been heavily watered down and companies go for it just to get the badge of participation. If everyone has it or if it the most widely used in the world, how selective is that "very select group" considering one million organizations in the world are using it.

It's a checkbox to check off nothing more.

    ISO Survey

Every year we perform a survey of certifications to our management system standards. The survey shows the number of valid certificates to ISO management standards (such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) reported for each country, each year.

ISO does not perform certification. Organizations looking to get certified to an ISO standard must contact an independent certification body.

A total of 1,519,952 certificates were issued worldwide in 2015, compared to 1,476,504 the previous year, an increase of 3 %.

Mine is just a normal run of the mill with large print for old eyes. I started looking to see what else was listed for each month

there was Ash Wens,Palm Sun, Easter no Lent. I imagine a lot has been added over the years to cover more and more groups.

Got my curiosity fix for the day.  Have a great night Noviceinvestor.

there is an app for that. I go to timeanddate.com when I need time zone translation from eastern to central, need to know any holiday in the world, what time it is in Prague on a summer night or I just need a countdown started. The weirdest thing though, somehow I can't find the countdown from now to soon.

  9. Opening an Armenian consulate in Erbil makes sense since the Turks are enemies to both. In the early 20th century, the Ottoman Empire tried to wipe out the Armenians through genocide. A major contributing factor to WWI but it's not usually spoken of in that context or if at all. As if in prelude to what was about to occur, later the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem would visit Adolf Hitler bringing about another attempted genocide.

Is there an english version of the source document, or a english name/title of the source document if I am to go to the CBI site? Por favor. Plus the IQD went down in price 1182 on the CBI site.

I provide translation services for 25,000 IQD per word. I don't guarantee the translation to be 100% accurate or even 1% accurate but I am sure there will be some sort of accuracy there. I deliver all translated works "soon".

Serious though: The IQD has remained at the 1182/84 program level since 2016. Hasn't changed.

Interesting...I will have to look into this. Thanks for the info. I did not know it was taught back in the 80's...my formidable Jr High and High School years were in the 80's, and I don't recall ever having a discussion around whether or not the Earth was flat.

Bet you didn't have conversations on Crucifixions being done either. Crucifixions are still being done today in the KSA although it's not talked about in the mainstream.  Slavery is also ongoing in the KSA. North Africa is awash in the trading of humans as slaves. An article pops up every now and again from Sudan or another country like it. The KSA is one of the main beneficiaries of the current trade, as the African slave trade was started by those in the ME. And people thought the USA was bad on slaves and I know some who even think America started the African slave trade. The Arabic word for slave is the same for the color black, Abed <sp?>. Revisionist history bah!

The Stand-By Arrangement aims to restore fiscal and external balance and to improve public financial management while protecting social spending.

    • The Iraqi authorities and the IMF mission have reached agreement on a supplementary budget for 2017, objectives for the 2018 budget, and strengthened procedures to keep expenditure under control
    • The SBA aims to restore fiscal and external balance and to improve public financial management while protecting social spending.

The Iraqi authorities and an International Monetary Fund (IMF) team reached a staff-level agreement on the second review of the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) that was approved by the IMF Executive Board on July 7, 2016 (See Press Release No. 16/321). The SBA aims to restore fiscal and external balance and to improve public financial management while protecting social spending. Iraq completed the first review under the SBA on December 5, 2016 and received a disbursement of SDR 0.46 billion (US$0.6 billion) (See Press Release No. 16/540). Completion of the second review will release a further disbursement of SDR 0.6 billion (US$0.8 billion).

Mr. Christian Josz, Mission Chief for Iraq, issued the following statement today in Amman:

“The Iraqi authorities and the IMF team have reached agreement on a supplementary budget for 2017, objectives for the 2018 budget, and strengthened procedures to keep expenditure under control. Both the supplementary 2017 budget and the 2018 budget will keep the fiscal consolidation, necessitated by the fall in oil prices, on track, while protecting social spending.

“Once agreed prior actions have been implemented, the IMF Board could consider the second review of the SBA in August.

“During the discussions, the team met with Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), Dr. Ali Mohsen Ismail Al-Allaq, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Dr. Naufel Al-Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Supreme Audit, Dr. Salah Noori Khalaf, Acting Deputy Finance Minister, Ms. Taif Same, Deputy Minister of Planning, Dr. Qasim Enaya, Deputy Minister of Electricity, Mr. Abdel Hamza, Financial Adviser to the Prime Minister, Dr. Mudher Saleh, and officials from the ministry of finance, Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), the Board of Supreme Audit, the ministry of oil, the ministry of planning, the ministry of electricity, and a representative from the Kurdistan Regional Government. The team would like to thank the Iraqi authorities for their cooperation and the open and productive discussions.”

If Not Now, When? Energy Price Reform in Arab Countries; April 2017 Rabat, Morocco

    Summary:

Regulating energy prices has been a common practice around the world. The objective is, generally, to facilitate access to energy products, which are central to people’s well-being and countries’ economic development. However, energy price regulation also leads to wasteful and excessive consumption, discourages investment in the energy sector, and locks in inefficient technologies. Low energy prices also result in subsidies that erode fiscal space, while benefits for the poor are limited. All these effects have been evident in Arab countries, where domestic energy prices are among the lowest in the world. The current environment of low oil prices offers a unique opportunity for change. Lessons from international experience suggest how well thought-out and sequenced reforms can be successful.

Could this statement refer to monetary reform? Just a thought.

No. The SBA has outlined the milestones in which reviews are to be conducted and criteria are to be met by that review. Iraq was given a waiver on the first review in which it did not meet all of the criteria. The second one is coming up. The reviews are merely to monitor the ongoing actions taking place and to affirm the criteria that have been met or not met. To guess, fathom or even speculate the review bears the weight of a decision on Iraq to RV is a misnomer. This would be like meeting with your boss on a project you were implementing on a bi-annual basis to report progress. Recommendations, of course, are given but it is Iraq's responsibility to either implement the recommendation or not.

If I recall correctly, the "flat earth" theory was/is an intelligence psyop, released as a tool

to find out how gullible people can be. It has come to the point where I have seen folks fighitng

about this which is a major time waster in my opinion. As for the results of this psyop, the c i a

and others were not disappointed at the response as it has become a religion to some who

believe it or attempt to take religious allegory literally which just adds to confusion.

This will blow your mind. Flat Earth theory wasn't a theory in KSA. It was taught as fact into the late 80's. Personal computers appeared on the scene and the KSA could not keep teaching the theory anymore. In the Quran, I long ago forgot the exact verse or it might be the hadiths the point is it has religious authority backing deemed to come from the mouth of god who does not have a mouth but I digress, the story goes that the Earth is flat and at each end of the world is a row of mountains to keep people from falling off the Earth. Between the mountains, the whole of the Earth belonged to their god and thus belonged to them. They would call this the house of peace (dar al salam)so long as all the peoples were all believers. If nonbelievers existed then it was their job as believers to get rid of the nonbelievers and thus the land was called the House of War (Dar al harb). Until the land is once again cleansed of unbelievers it will always be dal al harb - House of War. Thus jihad was born and evidenced to cleanse the world of unbelievers through the practice of five pillars of islam and dawa. Those who do not say the shahada shall pay the jizyah with humility until they either convert or no longer useful and summarily put to death. And now you know the rest of the story.....

  15. One day a little boy of 12 entered his house. He was all alone inside. Going about his business he turned on the tv to watch afternoon cartoons before he worked on his homework. The cartoons were lively and the little boy laughed and laughed. As he was sitting on his couch watching the cartoon he heard a thump come from the upstairs of his house. He froze and listened. Nothing happened. He returned his attention the tv and the cartoons. After a few days went by, he would come home and watch afternoon cartoons. He heard the thump again. This time a double thump. He flew out off of the couch and ran to the stairs, looked up but nothing. Cautiously he went back to the living room and sat down on the couch. Day after day of this went on. Thump. Thump. Thump. Always he would run to the stairs and look up the stairs and always nothing. He was started to become frightened. Then one day as he rushed to the stairs the thumping didn't stop. Thump Thump. Thump. It became faster. As he stood at the bottom of the stairs and looked up it came into view. A wooden coffin Thumped its way to the stairs and began to descend down. The boy was panicked had no idea what to do. Thump the coffin traversed another stair. The boy froze as he stared at the wooden coffin. Thump. Thump. Two stairs! Broken from the solace of rigidity the boy's hand flew into his pocket. Thump. Thump. Thump. Three stairs. The little boy pulled out a rectangular package. Thump. Thump. And as the Coffin resided on the last stair the boy showed it to the coffin. The Coffin never moved again. The boy had survived. The coffin was stopped and it had been taken away. One day his mother asked how a little boy of twelve could stop something as frightening and as scary as what the boy encountered that day. The little boy's father merely replied, "Vic's, always stops the coffin."

Its a easy research and study ... Iraqs currency exchange rate in relation to price per barrel , iraq has always had a high iqd vs usd value when oil rocked around for years at $25 or less per barrel its not the price per barrel or how much you can pump imo its the lack of an internationally traded currency and a free market economy ....... we wait

Considering oil is accounts for about 85% to 90% of all monies flowing into Iraq and they base their yearly budget on the price per barrel of oil, it most certainly is about the price of oil as to where the IQD starts and eventually goes at this time. The IQD during the time of Hussein was artificially inflated to be what it was. An international currency has to have a price point based off of something or let's try to get oak leaves be traded internationally. I want my MTV!
