TBomb if you think I slammed you, I apologize that was not my intention. I research anything and everything when I have time to do so. The way you originally posted was a little misleading as already stated by someone else. With stupid people playing stupid games (talking about the fake gurus), its a fools errand not to look into things further. BTW I don't just go to the link someone posts and call it a day, I look around the website and do other checks on that website and use a search engine for other info. To me it looked as if someone attached something significant to the record of file and that is all it was. Just like the majority of people here, I am waiting on the rv as much as everyone else is as I am staked in this with my own personal investment, hopes, dreams and aspirations for when it eventually does come about. I apologize for getting back so late was involved in working on some projects in Eclipse.

If it is true the WTO accepts Iraq, it would not be like a new country joining but the extension of what it was before its status was suspended. Wasn't Iraq in the WTO before the ousting of Sadam? If so it would just merely be a removal of suspension not like it was a brand new member to the WTO.

 

As for the 10 years idea, 10 years would be 2004 + 10 years = 2014, btw.

Okay last night I dug out my Noble Quran from the King Fahd Complex in KSA. This version is from the arabic to English translators Al-Hilali and Khan. I also dug up my notes that I had long put away. This is just a tease of what I have:

 

Shahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 513:  Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas:  Allah's Apostle said, "Gabriel recited the Qur'an to me in one way. Then I requested him (to read it in another way), and continued asking him to recite it in other ways, and he recited it in several ways till he ultimately recited it in seven different ways." Seven different versions of the Quran admitted by their prophet's own lips.

 

I want to correct something I said. In Islam there are Readers and Transmitters (I said translators which technically they are). The Reader is a person who is famous for "reciting" the quran and the transmitter is famous for putting the reciter's words to ink. For example, Ibn Kathir (maggie and amber should know who this guy is, if they don't they don't know Islam except a propagandist version of it and all of this is for naught) Ibn Kathir is a Reader who has two Transmitter's named al-Bazzi and Qalun. The current area of use for this Reader is Libiya, Tunisia and parts of Qatar. The Noble Quran has been translated into English by many people. One of the most widely used is Yusef Ali. I use a Quran translated from Dr. Hilali and Dr. Khan. 

 

It is important to know the translator because for example Surah 7:99 

 

In a transliteration of Arabic

Afaaminoo makra Allahi fala ya/manu makra Allahi illa alqawmu alkhasiroona

 

A rough translation

Did they secure God's scheme/deceit? So no(one) trusts God's scheme/deceit except the nation the losers.

 

There is no doubt that makr means deception, scheming, but in most Muslim translations this meaning is totally lost:

 

Yusef Ali translation into English

Did they then feel secure against the plan of Allah? - but no one can feel secure from the Plan of Allah, except those (doomed) to ruin!

 

Pickthall

Are they then secure from Allah's scheme? None deemeth himself secure from Allah's scheme save folk that perish.

 

Sher Ali

Are they then secure from the design of ALLAH? And none feels secure from the design of ALLAH save the people who are destined to perish.

 

Al-Hilali and Khan

Did they then feel secure against the Plan of Allah. None feels secure from the Plan of Allah except the people who are the losers.

 

Why do I even bring this up, because these translators deliberately chose to mask the meaning of the word makr in arabic to plan/scheme in English which can totally change the meaning in English. It is no wonder that Amber never heard of the word Al-fitnah. 

 

Here is another verse in which has been mistranslated into English 

But they (the Jews) were deceptive, and Allah was deceptive, for Allah is the best of deceivers (Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru al-makireena)!

 

As to the "rights of women" here are a few things you should know

 

Women are property

Surah 2:223 Your wives are tilth for you, so go to your tilth, when or how you will and send for your ownselves beforehand. And fear Allah and know that you are to meet Him and give good tidings to believers.

 

The vast majority of women go to hell, From the prophet's own mouth :

Sahih Bukhari Vol 7 Book 62 Number 124 Narrated Usama: The Prophet said, "I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that the majority of the people who entered it were the poor, while the wealthy were stopped at the gate (for the accounts). But the companions of the Fire were ordered to be taken to the Fire. Then I stood at the gate of the Fire and saw that the (vast) majority of those who entered it were women." 

 

Note: The Arabic word used for "the majority" here is 'Aammah (or 3ammah), and it indicates beyond any shred of a doubt (in Arabic) the *vast majority*. Again the mistranslation into English to appease English speakers.

 

Surah 4:34 Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them excel the other, and because they spend from their means. Therefore the righteous women are DEVOUTLY OBEDIENT and guard in the husband's absence what Allah orders them to guard. As to women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, BEAT THEM but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means. Surely Allah is Ever Most High, Most Great.

O people! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by Whom you demand one of another (your rights), and (to) the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you. And give to the orphans their property, and do not substitute worthless (things) for (their) good (ones), and do not devour their property (as an addition) to your own property; this is surely a great crime. And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans, then marry such women as seem good to you, two AND three AND four (mathna WA thulatha WA rubaAAa); but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one or what your right hands possess; this is more proper, that you may not deviate from the right course. And give women their dowries as a free gift, but if they of themselves be pleased to give up to you a portion of it, then eat it with enjoyment and with wholesome result. S. 4:1-4 Shakir

 

And how do you treat those four wives? Read on.

And they ask you a decision about women. Say: Allah makes known to you His decision concerning them, and that which is recited to you in the Book concerning female orphans whom you do not give what is appointed for them while you desire to marry them, and concerning the weak among children, and that you should deal towards orphans with equity; and whatever good you do, Allah surely knows it. And if a woman fears ill usage or desertion on the part of her husband, there is no blame on them, if they effect a reconciliation between them, and reconciliation is better, and avarice has been made to be present in the (people's) minds; and if you do good (to others) and guard (against evil), then surely Allah is aware of what you do. You will NOT be able to be equitable between your wives, be you ever so eager; yet do not be altogether partial so that you leave her as it were suspended. If you set things right, and are godfearing, God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. But if they separate, God will enrich each of them of His plenty; God is All-embracing, All-wise. S. 4:127-130

 

Realizing this, two conflicting explanations have been proposed:

(a) Sura 4:129 has canceled out the right of Muslims taking more than one wife, which implies that Sura 4:3 has been abrogated. This explanation is an indirect admission that these texts are contradictory.

( Sura 4:3 is talking about providing equally for all of the wives, whereas 4:129 is talking about not being able to love all wives the same. The problem with this explanation is that the texts themselves do not make such distinctions. One will not find it stated anywhere that being just in one verse refers to providing financially for all wives whereas in the other passage it refers to loving them all equally. This interpretation is nothing more than ad hoc.

 

Muhammad, whom many Muslims claim was the walking Quran, failed to treat his wives fairly thereby violating the express command of Sura 4:3. He even wanted to divorce one of his wives named Sauda on the basis that she had gotten too old and was no longer attractive to him, something which is quite disturbing to say the least.

 

The Hadith

 

    Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. (Abu-Dawud: bk. 41, no. 5251, Hasan) 

 

Women are dumber than men in Islam

 

Call in two male witnesses from among you, but if two men cannot be found, then one man and two women whom you judge fit to act as witnesses. (Qur'an 2:282, Dawood) 

(This verse is highly used in Islam to convict women when a man rapes her. The woman is said to have been in an illegal sexual act. This verse was also used in Australia as a defense when a gang of Islamic men raped an Australian woman. Subsequently it was thrown out and the men were all convicted and sentenced to jail.)

 

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a women equal to half that of a man?" The women said "yes". He said "This is because of the deficiency of the women's mind." (Bukhari: vol. 3, bk. 48, no. 826, Khan) 

 

A male gets double the inheritance a female gets:

The Quran in Sura 4:11 says: The share of the male shall be twice that of a female . . . . (Maududi, vol. 1, p. 311)

 

Ever want to get back with an ex after divorcing him... well the Quran has an answer for that:

And if the husband divorces his wife (for the third time), she shall not remain his lawful wife after this (absolute) divorce, unless she marries another husband and the second husband divorces her. Here is how prostitution is legal according to the Quran through muttah marriages:

 

Sura 33:50, a lengthy verse, grants Muhammad wide latitude in his marriages:

 

O Prophet, We have made lawful to you those of your wives, whose dowers you have paid, and those women who come into your possession out of the slave-girls granted by Allah, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and aunts, and of your maternal uncles and aunts, who have migrated with you, and the believing woman who gives herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet may desire her. This privilege is for you only, not for the other believers . . . .

 

Women who should be speaking out against against Islam aren't. Case in point Maggie and Amber. These passages are from your own texts, texts that you defend as peaceful. But continue on deceiving everyone. I will follow up with more specifically to your "not know what Al-Fitnah" is, which I find extremely hard to believe. Remember though Allah is the Best Deceiver... he says so himself.

I would be more apt to believe a govt spokesperson from Isreal than I would from Hamas who has a known history for deception and lies. Look up the word taqqiya. Something your prophet said was okay to do in time of war with the infidel/kafr/unbeliever. 

 

The UN even verified that caches were found in its schools. or did you miss that? Why are caches being hidden in schools, because of people like you when something goes awry and children die because they are being used as shields. This is where your argument goes awry. That was your original reply... then you started to modify. I responded to your question and answered in kind. I guess the Isrealies didn't go to house number 455 Main Street in Gaza and specifically tell them to evacuate either. So now it's not enough for Isrealis to drop fliers onto the citizens of gaza and tell them to evacuate. They have to go to specific houses and buildings to tell them to evacuate. Give an inch take a mile. The Isrealis dropped fliers telling people to evacuate. I guess you never been given an evacuation order. Contrary to your belief, evacuation recommendations are given to general areas not specific addresses. If the school resided in one of those areas and the people did not evacuate, then its Hamas's fault not Isreals because it was Hamas who told them they could not. Nice of you to have left that out of the discussion.

You claimed they did not warn to evacuate. I know what the link showed. I only needed to show that indeed Isreal does warn the people in the Gaza Strip of which you claimed it did not.

Picking a source you quoted, going to that site and doing a search on the words Isreal and evacuation; the search returned this article date July 16, 2014. Isreal was clearly telling people in the Gaza strip to evacuate but those warnings went unheeded and people were not given permission to evacuate by Hamas.

The correct word you are looking for here is Intercessor. Your prophet seeks to replace the messiah (whether you he has come and will come again or whether you believe the messiah is to come) in this regard. This shows that your prophet was jealous of the messiah that had come before him and intended to replace him. I know the story of how your prophet will lay prostrate before god... but how will he know where god is if he is imaginable and has no body, arms, legs or head? 

 

Like I said please know the history. You probably don't even know in the book of Miriam (who the mother of Jesus, is also the sister to Moses in the Quran) speaks of how all muslims will descend to hell before your prophet intercedes on your behalf. Even your prophet once asked will he go to heaven or hell proclaimed he had no idea where he would go. At least all the prophets before him knew. 

 

Chronological order (2 follows 1, 3 follows 2 which follows 1 etc. ) is not how the books are structured in Quran. The first book of the Quran was not written first and the last book in the Quran was not written last. In between its a hodgepodge order. You may be able to fool everyone who doesn't know this and then cherry picking the peaceful verses, but your prophet didn't write the Quran in order. Imagine that! Besides how does Allah change his mind? Jews and Christians and Muslims are supposed to be friends but now they are classified as as unbelievers so its the duty of Muslims (through Jihad) to bring them around or eradicate them all together. As far as one Quran in the whole world goes... why is there a differnce in the amount of chapters between a Sunni Quran and a Shia Quran? Hint one of them has approximately 8 more chapters. Why was Aisha's Quran burned? Why is the Quran in Istanbul totally different the arabic Quran you and I hold in our hands? If there was only one quran why do the qurans differ from each region of the world? I will give you a hint on this reseach readers and quran.

 

Because you read the Quran and pick up out "peaceful" verse out of the it, doesn't mean it holds true. There are countless peaceful verses in the Quran that have been abrogated by the being in the sky we can not even imagine. Truth be told for every Judiac and Christian story that  has been found in the Quran, the version found in the Quran has been perverted towards Islam. For example the story of Cain and Able. 

 

We can throw verses back and forth all you want, but if you don't know the chronological order in which the Sunahs of the Quran was written, you really don't know your Quran. Why do I say this its because of the verse of abrogation found within. 

 

You need to look up the verse I quoted instead of summarily dismissing it as I know that is what you have done because it tells the truth of islam. I can show verse after verse starting in Chapter 2 of the Quran that says to kill unbelievers that would counter every single verse you posted. The verse I quoted to you is a verse of jihad. I am sure you have heard of that word right? Jihad? Yeah give some story about inner struggle. Remember I said peace is a funny word? The inner struggle refers to part of the whole. Answer First of all, you should know that a Muslim should not be killed for killing a belligerent non-Muslim according to the consensus of the scholars . According to the view of the majority of the scholars  a Muslim should not be killed against a free non-Muslim under the Muslim rule. The evidence about this is the saying of the Prophet : "A Muslim should not be killed for killing a non-Muslim." [At-Tirmithi]

Moreover, according to the view of the majority of the scholars  the title (and rulings) “disbeliever” is applicable to a free non-Muslim under the Muslim rule. However,Abu Haneefah, and the scholars of his School of jurisprudence  are of the view that a Muslim should be killed for killing a free non-Muslim under Muslim rule; their evidence is the two verses which the questioner mentioned. Nonetheless, the correct opinion is that of the majority of the scholars  that is based on the above Prophetic narration, which is a direct proof related to the case of dispute.

I am following this conversation because it reminds me of why I stayed up late all those years learning Islam and what the truth was. Some of the verses I speak about come from Chapter 4 of Quran. I received a quran from the KSA long ago and its buried deep within my boxes. If you want I will dig it up and all the notes I have. If I do this and I give you the verses from which these appear, you need to apologize to me for being skeptical that your being actually said these things. Also I want to point out something in front of everyone reading this thread, every time a non muslim brings a hadith to a muslim they will always tell you that hadith is weak because the authority was weak. Amberamin, I challenge you to find the verse(s). Right now I have been up since 6AM working on assignments I was given late last night. I am not making excuses but surely you will say I am. You and I both know that the hadiths are every bit as important as the Quran is as it is the interpretation. I will look for you but it might be a bit, but really you need to look for yourself to see it in there.

 

I agree with you,early on the prophet of your religion was friends with Jews and Christians. However, as your prophet grew in your so-called religion, those early verses were abrogated and the Jews and Christians fell out of grace with your prophet. You should know that the Quran is not in a chronological order. However as humans we think linearly. So we are duped into thinking that the Quran was written chronologically. The wife beating verse appears before chapter 9 of the Quran if memory serves me right.

 

Here is a question for you Amberamin, why does every chapter in the Quran start with a verse that no one but Allah can understand except Chapter 9?  Also if you don't know what the Pact of Omar is, I suggest you look that up and find out the history behind it. You won't find it in the Quran.

If you speak arabic, search the Egyptian papers before the ousting of their president. There are court cases where this verse, No muslim blood shall be spilt for killing a kafir,  is used to not condemn murderers of non christians to the death penalty. In fact some of the cases have even returned not guilty based on this verse. So here is real world cases in which this exact verse has been used to deal justice in Islam.

The peaceful verse you quoted was abrogated by the one I paraphrased. Islam teaches peace will come when the lands harbor no kafir (but hey it teaches peace so that must be okay!). Until then Islam subscribes to the notion that should kafir be allowed to reside in the land, then that land is in a perpetual house of war until such time the kafir is either eradicated or expelled from the land. Islam means surrender. Really what is cruel and unfair about dropping leaflets and telling the people in the Gaza Strip that the military is coming and citizens need to evacuate then having Hamas declare it not permissible for people to do so? Who is the real tyrannical villain in this conflict? Isreal wants to live in peace, Hamas(shiite) and Hezbollah(sunni) won't let them. What is fair in your eyes is such a perverted concept. In Islam, there are sects. ISIS belongs to the Sunni sect. The mosque that was blown up was of the Shiite sect. These are the two main sects of Islam. To put it in terms of Christianity, this would be like a Catholic group blew up a Protestant church. The sects are divided over the fact when their prophet died he did not name a successor. This is tribal mentality. Think of when before King dies he names a successor should he have no children. The Shia and Sunnis have been fighting each other and killing each other since the death of their prophet. It is also been declared from a fatwah - religious edict , that Shiites are not muslims. So sunnis blowing up mosques and shrines of the shiites could technically be said they are not blowing up their own religion's shrines and this is how Al-Qaeda and ISIS feels on the subject matter - according to Sunnis, the Shia are not muslims. Honor Killing is a very real horror for women not just in the Middle East but all over the world. In the last five years, there have been several cases of Honor Killings here in the United States (yes the good ole' US of A) and you wonder why states are trying to pass laws to the effect that international law cannot be used as precedence for US law. Women's rights in Islam are little to non existent as they are told what, when and how to do things. I could sit here and tell you funny stories all day long that are written in the hadiths that have nothing to do with their pederant prophet. Like how you are supposed to sleep a certain way or because a little devil (djinn) pees in your nose(or ear?) that you perform ablution, etc. The real war on women is not this false facade being portrayed by feminazis and demorats but by an omnipotent being who has no physical form that we could ever imagine. The real war on woman is right in front of the world and yet so many women turn a blind eye to it. Do not come at me telling me Islam is a peaceful religion,tell me to stop the hate or call me an Islamophobe when you do nothing but spew hatred through the divisive words and your actions are to bring more women into the fold of this so-called religion. Islam preys on the weak and feeble. They gain power through numbers. A woman who has a low self esteem is very vulnerable to these predators. Women who are Islamic cannot marry, date or even be seen fratenizing with any male outside of Islam. This is the very basis of why Honor Killings happen. And yet the Islamic men(and women sometimes) prey upon women no matter what the women subscribe to in their religion. It has been said if Islam cannot conquer by the sword and it cannot conquer by the word, then it shall conquer by breeding the kafir out of existence.

Peace... funny word peace. Spelled one way it could mean tranquility silence and calm. Spelled another it could mean a part of a whole.

 

Here is the gist of the situation, people have become too politically correct. Why do I say this because when someone disagrees with what you have to say even if it is in factual evidence, they will try to come at you with PC terms like hater, racist, oh the children! and any other PC term that has become negative in this world. You may not be any of those but since you have shown an ugly truth to which they rather not see the light of day, they come at you in all their vilest ways. Are we to espouse that a person wanting to stop the hatred, mutilation of women and children, to stop the killing of women in the guise of Honor or whatever else is the argument du jour, cannot be for the very thing when it is they themselves who espouse divisiveness with mere words?

 

The mantra "Stop the hate" is so passe and utopian but when it is bantered about the one saying it somehow has all the music of the heavens play and the angels sing all their glory upon this person. This person could do no wrong. Beneath their false facade and bravado they claim to have, they are doing more harm than they ever could and they are totally the opposite of what they portray themselves to be.

 

I remember a time when speaking with Muslims that they claimed I was a racist because I dared speak the truths of Islam and debate them using only their texts. Their claim got shot down rather quickly because being a Muslim is not a race no more so than a being a New Yorker is a race (they might be something else entirely but I digress). A civil debate with a person or group of persons cannot be had when there is no argument that comes from their side. "Stop the hate." is not a viable topic nor is it a comeback to the question at hand. It is more visceral from those whose lips it is spoken with as much hate as they claim you have. While the utopian dream is for every person on this god given planet is for no hatred towards fellow man kind, the reality shows us even that the utopian dream is no more than that and that it will ever be. How can a person espouse to this utopian dream with all their heart and soul turn around portend they have no hatred in their own hearts? Dig deep enough and we all find hatred in our hearts in some form or fashion. However, one should not proclaim "Stop the hate" when they wish to silence the truth because in the end their wanting to keep the dark on that very truth makes more and more people turn to hate the very thing they wish to silence and it shows the hatred they have. People are people. You cannot change that fact. Whether we are old or young, brown or green it does not matter for we are all people.

 

Islam needs to have the truth told about and not the so called peaceful verses that have been abrogated. Truth is their prophet once proclaimed through the verses in the Quran to be friends with Christians and Jews  but it didn't take long before the Allah he spoke to turned on them and vile verses descended upon their prophet in a convulsive vision akin to an epileptic fit. Islam was created at the whim of one man who claimed could neither write nor read. And yet he somehow managed to run Khadija's business very profitably before he wound up in the cave talking to the angel of light. Me thinks those who doth protest too much are hiding something very grave and very evil. Until the world learns the truth of this treacherous vile evil cult, they will way over protest to very souls on earth they wish to harm.

 

Now I shall return to my stupor as I work on my studies to increase my wealth by increasing my productivity and knowledge in the realm of IT to become a better productive member of society. However, speak to me of Islam and you will not hear hatred, you will hear truth that you should go and determine for yourself whether it was truthful or not.
