  1. Alice chased a rabbit down a hole and look where it took her. Settle on a price and be done with it. Don't keep chasing the rabbit, you eventually lose more than you gain. They have been chasing the rabbit since August @$90 per barrel. It's December oil has fallen 31 dollars with expectations now as low as 28 a barrel. That's a mighty long chase. They should set the expectations on this forecasted number and they will look like geniuses with a surplus if the oil never falls that low. Anyhoo they will look better than they do now. Set the price at 28, RV and be done with it. Then let it float to the top.

  2. Well a couple of former USSR satellite countries stopped importing NG from Russia. I know Lithuania was the country the article was about but they imported it from a neighboring country (thinking Latvia?) and have stopped all deliveries from the Russian company that is the main concern for Ukraine. GOZP or something like that. So its no surprise as more USSR satellite countries seeing what Putin did to Ukraine and Georgia that they would want to get their NG elsewhere. I am also betting this would eventually if not now include oil imports as well.

  3. Boo blue! Go Scarlet and grey!

Was in Indianapolis on a bowling team and wore a horizontal striped scarlet and grey rugby shirt. A guy on another team came up to me and asked me if I knew I was in Indiana. I said yep. He asked you know whose colors those are. I said yep, go scarlet and grey. He walked away. And yes we beat his bowling team. Guess I can't make friends any where I go!

  4. My speculation on all of this is If anything it will be a very limited correction not an full blown out RV. I am guessing a correction of 1/3 to 1/2 of the current rate not a full blown RV. Also I have a feeling if anything comes out of this, this is where they might begin to drop the zeroes on their currency. I am agreement with those who are calling for March 2015. If anything, if the RV does not happen between April and July 2015, you can almost bet that 2016 will be the new benchmark. The a former CBI head said the best time to do the RV will be between those months. If the barrel of oil drops lower than 30 per barrel  (currently below 62 per barrel) you can expect to see pressure to RV sooner to increase purchasing power of not only their citizens but the state as well. This pressure will come from the constituency not investors.

  5. Did anyone else notice the words "draft" and "referred to parliment"? While this is great news a couple of things to note: this has not become law yet and this is not the hydrocarbon law to which all Iraqi citizens are supposed to benefit from the production of oil. This is the final stage (referal to parliment) in which the Kurds and Baghdad must agree upon and a prelude to the HCL law. Parliament must pass this from the Cabinet before it can become law. It's not law and therefore it and the HCL are not a done deal. This is counting the chickens before the eggs are hatched but noting that the eggs are indeed cracking. Sorry for the buzz kill here but with Parliament set to work on the 2015 budget and then proceed to go on a month long vacation, I seriously doubt that the HCL will be passed in 2014. I want the RV as much as the next person but the history of Iraq needs to show more than just an agreement on paper before I jump for a little joy here. It's great the Kurds got 17% but the rest of Iraqi citizens have not received their due at this time. All in good time I hope they all will.

Our own parliamentary procedure works the same way, a Cabinet made up of members of Congress works to promote certain bills to the floor. From there the leader of that body then sets a schedule of how long the debate should be and following a debate whether to table the bill or vote on the bill. Ammendments are added or subtracted at this point. After passage by that particular body the bill goes to the President to be signed or vetoed. A bill can automatically become law passively if the president doesn't take action on the passed bill after a certain amount of time has passed. The parliament in Iraq can table this bill if so inclined however, I seriously doubt they will. I have seen bills in our own Congress thought to have without a doubt passage only to be stopped in a parliamentary procedure. Let's hope this becomes law then the HCL can finally be taken up and passed.

I can see a sticking point of half salaries. How many of you would take half of your annual salary?

  6. Several things, a recent report stated oil could go down to $28 per barrel due to the so-called war the KSA is doing with oil right. Iraq cannot keep chasing the price of oil. It would be like tying a dollar bill on the line of a fishing pole and seeing if they can catch it while reeling in the dollar. Iraq must diversify but they really cannot do so 100% without global help. In order to do so they need to be able to trade globally without hindrance and that means getting out of the current monetary situation they are in now.

HCL is not a done deal. Hasn't been and people have been cheering the completion since the middle of October and even more so when the Kurds and Baghdad came to an agreement. I said it then and I will say it here, that was a prelude to the HCL but not the HCL. The HCL even when passed into law won't be a done deal because people in Iraq have to get paid. We all know the past history of Iraq paying out money. Hopefully things have changed but the HCL won't be a done deal until people get paid and that is what the financiers around the globe are looking at - will the citizens of Iraq actually get paid based on the law that is passed. Words on paper are one thing action is completely different.

Lastly, the Islamic calendar is based off the lunar cycles. Different cultures around the world currently have different calendar systems. The Western calendar(used to be the Gregorian calendar until changed by some ceasar and later adopted by some pope in Rome) like Jan, Feb Mar is not practiced everywhere. The Jews have their own calendar and Islam has theirs. So if you have always wondered why Channukah  was always different now you know why (provided you didn't before). That is why Ramadan is also different each year due to having their own calendar. Other cultures that have lunar calendars - Mayans, Egyptians, Native Americans etc. History has shown lunar calendars, as opposed to solar calendars, are the most common form of a calendar system due to the fact of the lunar phases. Here is another clue about the Islamic Calendar system, it's above every mosque and on quite a few Islamic countries flags. It's their symbol - the crescent moon and star (actually Venus). This is due to what is said in the Quran (or is it the Hadiths, its said somewhere in either of those) about when to fast for certain times, usually after the last sliver of moon that can be seen and goes dark. Whilst you may not care but now you know...

  7. As of writing this Oil is at $68 dollars per barrel. Again to counter the fracking in the USA and the Russian exportation of oil. Iraq needs to set a number and stick to it. They can't keep chasing the price down the well to hold off the budget. The new govt was supposed to be acting instead of reacting. This is a clip from a newsletter I received on Saturday:

"Today, OPEC (the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) is back calling the shots, and putting the squeeze on global crude producers, commodity currencies, trade balances and Russia in particular, after yesterday’s stand-pat decision to maintain its existing daily production of +30M bpd. This decision pushed the benchmark North American West Texas Intermediate crude oil to trade down -6% to $68 per barrel, a fresh four-year low. OPEC’s decision has given an upward bias to the mighty U.S. dollar, as lower oil prices are deemed a direct boon to the American economy. OPEC’s bearish position is also managing to send commodity currencies like the CAD ($1.1385), NOK ($6.99), and RUB tumbling. " (from Market Pulse 11/29/2014)

While Iraq relies on the price per barrel they need to set the budget quota at $65 - the production price of fracking in the USA - rather than any of the above. If the price per barrel drops lower than $65 than it will be only a short period for a dip in price. If the budget is contingent on oil than the currency will be pegged to the currency that oil is traded in, Iraq really can't get around this if they rely on the oil for the wealth. That right now is the petrodollar. As the clip is showing other currencies are declining due to the oil price/barrel falling. The RV when it happens will more than likely float from the initial onset whatever that may be. I don't hold my breath for the beginning of 2015. If it will happen it will be as previously stated by a former CBI head - in June or July. The year was never specified.

Here's another tidbit, if the execs at the IMF are scheduled to be on vacation, you can rule out any of those dates. I know some will say that the IMF has nothing to do with the RV but its called coordination. IMF will have no say but Iraq will coordinate with the IMF.

When Iraq RV's then it will be a thankful day whenever and however that may occur.

  8. So, according to my math... if $1 Billion is payment for a year... at 150,000 barrels/day....  that's about $18.26/barrel for Kurdistan.  What percentage is that of Baghdad's selling cost per barrel?  At $96.00/barrel, it would represent 17%.  If it's a lower cost/barrel... the Kurds would be getting more than the 17% they were originally looking for.  I'm wondering what $ cost/barrel is in the 2015 budget?

I believe I read $65/barrel was reportedly used in the proposed 2015 budget.

This number has been bantied about since August and due to the falling oil prices to be thrown into the mix it has substantially fallen. The last number I read was $65 just as Caye said. The price per barrel is falling due to the KSA wanting to stop the Americans from fracking in American. Saudis are scared and they have a right to be. They have dropped their price per barrel. The production price point of fracking in America to produce one barrel of oil is $65. This is the reason why the $65 price point for the Iraqi budget to hold. In September I believe this number was around $85 and in May it was $95 to give you some inkling on how far down the price per barrel will fall. Around the beginning of the year price per barrel was being traded just shy of the $100 mark. I think it had risen to about $108 before it started its free fall.

All in all, it will seem to settle at $65 due to the production cost of fracking in America.

  9. I don't normally reply to Guru crap as it shortens my life by 3 minutes. But I do respond when a newbie looks like he is falling for the BS and sounds like he may over extend himself.

Of course it is entertaining at times and is placed in rumors which is a good thing.

      Thxs for the thread.

    pp

Oh pleez I stated I saw the ticker with my own eyes, commented I saw it and denounced the rest of the crap the idjit guru spit out. The rest of what the guru idjit is spilling is nothing more than BS crap. I have more common sense than to believe some tripe that idjit spits out any day of the week.

Did you even bother reading the dv news section confirming what the content on the fox news ticker was about? I bet you didn't because you posted so soon after I commented.  So please before you die from asphyxiation from sphincter insertion do some research before posting.

  10. I will state I saw Fox News ticker (scroll) yesterday(11/13/14) but it did not say that HCL is done. What it did say was about 150 000 barrels of oil and the $500 million. However it did not say anything about HCL. There are news articles in the DV news section about this. IMO this is a prelude to the HCL law but not the HCL law in its entirety. Because I didn't take a picture I didn't say anything about it. To give you an idea of the time I saw it, The Five was was on.

Remember it didn't happen without a picture.

  11. Don't worry his meme lives on in "Baghdad Pelosi".

Some of her most famous quote:

"You have to vote for it before you can find out what's in it."

    2014: "I don't know who Grueber is."

2009: "You have to compare MIT graduate Grueber's numbers to see how Obamacare will save you money." (paraphrasing)

"Unemployment payments are the backbone of the economy."

"No Republicans will win any seats this election. Democrats will control the Senate after the election."

    Pelosi #Gruebered us all.

  12. Okay, I'm not sure if you are blind, dumb, slow or all of the above, but I mentioned being on Adams newsletter for two years before joining here last month.

So what is your problem? Your constant failure to utilize basic comprehension skills precede you.

LOL and to make matters worse, you don't know how to read dates OR count. So get over yourself, kid.

Apparently you can't read... I was referring to the x number of months before you found this thread.

Apparently my beef is with you and your snobbish remarks to think that anyone that has not paid to be a VIP member of this site 1) is beneath you or 2) doesn't have any investment in Dinars and want them to prove to you that they do? So what are you now the Dinar Investment Police? Everyone in the world has to prove to you and you alone they hold dinar? How much dinar do they have to hold before they satisfy your simple minded view? Yes you thanked someone then made derisive comments following that were condescending to a couple of individuals. That sir / ma'am is why you were called out. You have an entitlement mentality and I hate people with entitlement mentality unless of course their entitlement was duly earned. Yours was not.

I can read and I do read well. I can also smell and when I smell BS I tend to try call it out. I smell and continue to smell BS wafting from your direction.

    Have a nice day.

  13. No you said:

@ReinMan and everyone else who is contributing, ooooh boy am I grateful for this thread. If only I had found it three months ago, I would've been on top of the noise. Tony/DC are a given. Okie, Goat and Terry and especially Frank were on my Suspect-List. But now, my doubts are confirmed, as well as now I know to ignore from now on. Mad props to you for this, because you are absolutely right; Not everyone has been in the game for 5+ years and without any warning, it takes a while to know who's-who. We all deserve to know the truth as soon as it is available.

Been here for two years and you are just now figuring out who to ignore? Something ain't right here. Heck I knew who to laugh and ignore at in the first two weeks on this site. This thread isn't the only one of its kind.  Again just because you paid doesn't mean others haven't either. My remark was akin to having a husband and wife on the this site and it would be inefficient for both of them to pay for a VIP. So please keep the snobbishness to yourself because unless you have trillions of dollars in your bank account(s), you ain't got crap as far as money goes.

Been how many years and posted how many times? I am not the only one who sees the lunacy of your game.

Its strange that you keep posting and yet you never go higher than 47 posts....

  14. Well aren't you the sweetest nugget in the box. So then why are you here? You aren't V.I.P. and you are not verified. So who really gives a flying hoot WHO you trust?

Most assassine and ludicrous statement I have read on here besides the Islamic apologetics on here that I have encountered. This is akin to saying in the gaming world, I am max level and you are a plebe because you are only level 5 but what is not known is the level 5 guy has about 4 other maxed out characters. Next thing you will be saying is that the guy is 12/13 y o and living in the basement of his mother's house. Oh please give it a break wuld ya... Two months before you joined? Hmm,,, something wrong with this one.

Please before you speak... remove foot from mouth next time.

  15. Let me give you a hint: check to see if the powers that be in the IMF will be on vacation over the next few months. When they are you can guarantee nothing will be happening during that time. In August when people called for this the IMF powers that be announced vacation dates.  So any date an IMF power that be person is on vacay... you can rule out those dates. If IMF is not in session... rule those dates out as well. The Central Banks are taking a lead in the global economy and it is the IMF that is controlling the CB's albeit the CB's won't admit to it.

  16. It was in the Phillipines (I believe in the 50's but don't quote me on that) the idea of dipping bullets in pig's blood to fight the terrorist muslims manifested and was actually done. Since then the Phillipino muslims have never returned to the status they once had or lest they be shot with a bullet dipped in pig's blood thus negating their right to get their 70 plus 2 white grapes virgins as a martyr.

  17. I have had mixed emotions regarding dreams or "voices" and actually telling someone.  I had a loud insistent voice (who sounded like my father, who is deceased) keep repeating 200 days to me. I was asleep but did wake up after hearing 200 days over and over. I wasn't dreaming about anything in particular and I don't know if 200 days is good news or bad news coming. But that 200 days is up on November 13...which happens to be a Thursday.

Flint its Nov 3 as I read through this but did you realize when you submitted this particular post talking about November 13, that this was the thirteenth post of the the thread? Okay I will stop playing the The outer limits music.

  18. Maliki threatens to leave the govt but this quote is key and seems to be missed by many. I underlined and bolded the key part of the threat.

"Mr. al-Maliki sent a strongly worded letter to the head of the current government Haider al-Abadi," and threatened "him to overthrow his government and his removal as prime minister if What has been condemning the oldest agent of the Ministry of An Interior Adnan al-Asadi, the issue of detecting the failed explosive devices. "

Maliki is threatening to withdraw only to overthrow the current form of government. If he leaves he will not go quietly into the night as he will be back to kill his opponents and take control of the government once more. This is the plan Maliki has had all along and is working on. The cleanup of his previous administration is proceeding and Maliki is starting to feel the pressure but when boilers can no longer hold the pressure they explode. This government needs to release the steam from Maliki or like the boiler it too will explode.

It is Maliki that needs to be removed before permanent and long term damage comes to Iraq beyond what has been done previously. If Maliki does overthrow this current government it will be a dog's day in hell before the RV actually happens.

  19. The division between Shia and Sunni dates back to the death of the Prophet Muhammad, and the question of who was to take over the leadership of the Muslim nation. Sunni Muslims agree with the position taken by many of the Prophet's companions, that the new leader should be elected from among those capable of the job. This is what was done, and the Prophet Muhammad's close friend and advisor, Abu Bakr, became the first Caliph of the Islamic nation. The word "Sunni" in Arabic comes from a word meaning "one who follows the traditions of the Prophet."

On the other hand, some Muslims share the belief that leadership should have stayed within the Prophet's own family, among those specifically appointed by him, or among Imams appointed by God Himself.

The Shia Muslims believe that following the Prophet Muhammad's death, leadership should have passed directly to his cousin/son-in-law, Ali bin Abu Talib. Throughout history, Shia Muslims have not recognized the authority of elected Muslim leaders, choosing instead to follow a line of Imams which they believe have been appointed by the Prophet Muhammad or God Himself. The word "Shia" in Arabic means a group or supportive party of people. The commonly-known term is shortened from the historical "Shia-t-Ali," or "the Party of Ali." They are also known as followers of "Ahl-al-Bayt" or "People of the Household" (of the Prophet).

Sunni Muslims make up the majority (85%) of Muslims all over the world. Significant populations of Shia Muslims can be found in Iran and Iraq, and large minority communities in Yemen, Bahrain, Syria, and Lebanon.

Partly right. When their prophet died he did not name a successor, a so-called pope of the Islamic World as they knew it back then. There was a girl who was introduced to their prophet at the age of 4. She was introduced by her Uncle Badr. Their prophet had shenanigans (being polite here) with the girl until she married their prophet at the age of 8. The marriage was consummated at that time. When that girl, Aisha, was around 17 her husband died leaving a vacuum in the leadership of the muslims. The factions fought over who should be successor. On one hand it was Aisha's Uncle, since purportedly their prophet with all the sexual strength and prowess beguiled a human being never produced a living heir. On the other hand, the other faction believed it to be a son-in-law but the problem with this is that their prophet conveniently received a divine ayat from their divine being that the son-in-law divorced his wife so their prophet could marry her (assertedly their propher somehow saw the leg's of his son-in-law's wife and just had to have her). So the question begat who was the rightful heir to the kingdom? No one has rightfully answered this and many have died over seeking the answer. However what is known is that the Calipha is supposedly be tied to their prophet's bloodline. The only bloodline that does exist in this case would be only that of relatives not direct descendants. Both the Uncle of Aisha and the son-in-law are supposedly somehow connected.

Shiites are the ones who cut themselves every year and make an additional pilgrimage to the General who died in battle and was entombed in Iraq. This is in addition to the pilgrimage every muslim is supposed to take to Mecca. The sunni's have many splintered factions. One of them are the Wahabi's whom near the end of the Ottoman Empire decided to march to Turkey and down to Isreal (Palestine as it was called during the Ottoman Empire but Palestine was not a country) to push the Jews into the sea. The Wahabi's claimed that shiites were committing "shirk" something so evil that its the worst thing a muslim can commit, covet other gods and have idols. So they killed any muslim who they claimed committed shirk. Now the Wahabi's almost took over the House of Saud until the House of Saud and the Wahabi's made a deal securing the reign of the King. However this was akin to making a deal with the devil as some purport that the Saudi King is merely a figure head and the Wahabi's rule. Note here that most believe the Wahabi's don't exist.  The other faction worth noting and its the Salafi's. This group is even worse than the Wahabi's as they claim to be peaceful individuals but they do not tell you who they are peaceful too. The answer to that is only other Salafis. Shiek Osama bin Laden was a wahabi who in 1999 issued a fatwah towards the United States using ayat 9:5 from the Quran to justify the war on the United States. This verse has consitently been used to justify the killing of infidels and mushirikens where ever they may be.

IS/ISIL/ISIS (whatever you want to call them) is not good and ARE muslims from the two worst sects of Islam - wahabis (alqaeda) and Salafi's (Muslim Brotherhood). This should explain to some degree why the bummer as prez or as I like to call him the POSOTUS is chummy with muslims. For those who cannot read between the lines, 0bummer is chummy with Muslim Brotherhood and has appointed Muslim Brotherhood members to some of the highest appointed positions in his cabinets thus giving them very highly classified information of our nation(See Homeland Security appointees by 0bummer). CAIR's co-founder (Hezbollah) once stated, that CAIR is not in America to be another religion, it is here to be the dominant religion and the Quran its constitution. Athiests better wake up (as the rest of the nation) to this because athiests are not asked to convert or pay the jiziya (protection money) which only leaves one choice left. Islam will never be secular and cannot exist in a secular context unless major reform is done to the so-called ROP.

I could care less what you believe or what you do as long as you do not infringe on my rights or any other person's as a citizen of this nation. If it does not harm me or anyone else, believe it do it but most of all take personal accountability for the consequences for believing and doing what you will.
