  1. It actually is... think about it a bit more and apply it to your investment strategy. The light may come on after a few days...
  2. Article 36 makes the entire situation drastically worse for Dinar speculators...
  3. This is precisely the point! Iraq will not only utilize Article 36 in their favor, they will effectively make the trillions of Dinars being held by speculators around the world worthless overnight. So, a three-zero redenomination will be even more effective in reducing the money supply due to the vast quantities oustide their borders going 'poof'.
  4. Hang on a minute! I take great offense with your statement respecting "low inflation"! Is this a joke of particular bad humor or are you being serious? Iraq has an extremely bad case of inflation...: 2004 = 12.25tn Dinars 2005 = 14.68tn Dinars 2006 = 21.08tn Dinars 2007 = 26.95tn Dinars 2008 = 34.92tn Dinars 2009 = 45.44tn Dinars 2010 = 60.26tn Dinars 2011 = 65.11tn Dinars 2012 = 72.02tn Dinars 2013 = 87.77tn Dinars
  5. I appreciate your comment. I am hoping to wake up at least a few people! They could choose to sell their holdings and walk away with a 30 to 40% overall loss. However, at least they would have something left.
  6. Put the blinders on and march forward on more hopium. That is always healthy and rational.
  7. I point any interested individuals to the CBI Law at the following link: http://cbi.iq/documents/CBILAW-EN_f.pdf Please take a look at Article 36 on page 25. Based on previous currency denominations (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redenomination), I would like to know how anyone will be exchanging their Dinars once the LOP occurs. You cannot go to dealers since they will not be allowed to travel to Iraq with such a large quantity of Dinar notes. You will not be able to go to Iraq to exchange Dinars yourselves since you will be hindered by travel restrictions in addition to import/export currency limits. Finally, banks will not exchange them since the IQD is not internationally traded.
  8. Does dontlop get paid to consistently attempt to argue with LOPsters? Just wondering since this guy obviously spends incredible amounts of time on this site. I almost cannot believe that dontlop is here merely to argue; some other highly motivating factor is driving him.
  9. The burden of proof is on the people claiming a mythical future development. IE: If I claim that I have seen the holy spaghetti monster in the Loch Ness Lake, the burden of proof is on me, the claimant, and not the opposing parties to the argument. Lol. No person can come up with a logically feasible rejoinder to that question. Too damn funny.
  10. I respect that. Thanks for adding to the conversation! You are such an incredibly talented and obviously intelligent person. Also, cute emoticon! lol.
  11. Right... they sold their oil and imported a vastly lower economic amount in other goods. Keep in mind, when Iraq sells their oil, it is sold for US Dollars (since the OPEC agreement)! I suspect that you will now form a very misguided conjecture that those 'stored' US Dollars will be used to cash out all of the investors. I seem to be spewing too much honesty, that's all. I don't care much for facile arguments on this forum; I care about the TRUTH. So, you repeatedly making tangential remarks without adding any valuable insight to the discussion makes you seem like the coward. I would respect and cherish it if you actually added at least 'something' to the argument. At this point, you are acting like nothing more than a sideline cheerleader. You may be much better served to continue reading rather than posting. Remember, ad hominem attacks never make you appear intelligent. Princess! Another thing extremely telling is the fact that posted and verifiable currency figures and calculations are quickly dismissed, while conjecture and assumptions are cheered like the gospel. Nobody of you RV'ers have even attempted to touch my posted figures. I dare anyone to do so and come out on top.
  12. How is that pathetic? He has done the research, found objective verifiable facts, and is stating the same. I wager to say that you are the rather pathetic one...
  13. Fair enough dontlop. Change the RV rate from $32 to a preferable and more 'realistic' amount. Let's use $3.00 or even $0.30 - even in that range, it is simply astonishingly impossible.
  14. Also, here is a little snippet of factual information (from a site I regularly visit) to all of you RV'ers. Before War @ $3.22: 20 billion dinar x $3.22 = 64 billion USD After War @ 0.00086: 82 trillion dinar x $0.00086 = 71 billion USD Conclusion Iraq is neither under or overvalued. Iraq is suffering from a severe case of hyperinflation. Heck Iraq’s economy even grew 7 billion from when Saddam was last in power. And finally, to illustrate the sheer absurdity of what you Dinarians believe will happen: 87.7 “Trillion” at $32 is $2,784tn or 35x planet Earth’s money or 13,920 x Iraqi sized economies.
  15. Nice! If you could, please let me know that magic date you got set in your smartphone calendar... wink, wink, nudge, nudge! Hopium and more hopium - a powerful drug!
  16. That's similar to stating that "religion is true because I choose to consciously ignore science and all of its objectivity and facts". Believing in the RV is tantamount to being a religious apologist living in a world where people actually know that the Earth is slightly older than 6,000 years.
  17. Precisely my point. This person should enlighten us all with his omniscience.
  18. Why is that ridiculous? Valid question to ask...
  19. Ok dontlop, I take your lack of response as confirmation of your being serious. I gotta say, that is the most ridiculous and far-fetched statement I have ever heard you and even many other Dinarians make! Lots of people will get a chuckle out of that one. Thanks!
  20. Dear dontlop, That was actually funny! First time you managed to make me laugh... I wish all of our interactions could be this light-hearted and enjoyable, however, we are on opposite sides of a pretty damn polarizing debate. I still would like to know if you were being serious with that statement... (I sat, shook, and got back up).
  21. I seriously am loving your attitude and the general sense of happiness I get whenever seeing your posts. I think more people should take note of your rather lax point-of-view and realize that no person (other than the highest Iraqi officials) are fully aware of the future plans for the Dinar. However, I cannot stress enough, that the sheer piles of verifiable and objective evidence undoubtedly point towards a LOP and it is quite easy to illustrate the impossibility of an RV (again, I would like to stress that a minor currency revaluation of maybe three to five percent is possible after a redenomination) when looking at the overall IQD money supply and comparing the same with the supposed RV dollar value of all the IQD in existence. Again, love your attitude... dontlop, where are you? Please tell me if you were joking with that post...?!?
  22. Read all of it. Nothing much of note in my humble opinion... the news respecting exchanges is being significantly overblown by apologists and the linked article (with an overly absurd and inaccurate translation) ruling out a LOP is laughable at best.
  23. ??? Please tell me dontlop...
  24. In all seriousness, were you being facetious with the above comment (I am only referring to the above quoted lines)?
