wanted to add to my original post. short6 may have given me the only slight hope available. If this is in fact mis-direction (I'd say it's a small chance), then we might see an RV in my lifetime.

I agree that it does seem to rule out a lop (specifically in the 2010/2011 plan), but it also seems to rule out an RV.

There are many precious metals dealers. Check the yellow pages for your area. If you want to buy gold, IMO it's better to buy it locally. You dont have to wait, or pay shipping, and most importantly you can see the product before you buy it.

2-3 lbs of ground sirloin. Chop 2 medium onions. Chop 2 bell peppers. Chop 1 cup jalepeno peppers (if desired). Mince 1 clove of garlic. Mix everything in with the ground beef, cook until the ground beef is done, medium heat. Either make gravy using the beef fat as a starter, or add 2 cans of brown gravy. If adding gravy, drain excess beef fat (dont want soup). Cook 2 cups of rice per person. Spoon cooked mixture over rice. chow down.

Cut fillets of salmon into 1" strips along the length of the fillet. Mix crab chunks,mayo, minced onions, and some breadcrumbs (as a binder). Spoon the stuffing along one side of each strip, so it's about 1/2" deep. Roll the salmon into a pinwheel, securing with toothpicks or cooking skewers. Pan fry for approx 2 minutes per side. Salt/pepper to taste. NOTE: I dont use specific units of measure for the stuffing ingredients. I just eyeball it.

Mongo, I agree with you 100%. There's a difference between sharing a RUMOR and stating it is rumor, than repeatedly sharing "intel" that turns out to be consistently wrong or misleading. We've been told at LEAST 8 times since Nov 2009 that the RV has already happened and we're just waiting for the announcement.

I agree Mongo. They cant keep coming forward giving new dates week after week, recycling the same "intel", and expect people to just suck it up and smile.

Well, it's the end of the week. Another piece of "intel" goes on the manure pile.

Using Occam's razor, the simplest answer is that this story was published by a Bahraini source, and the budget was translated to BHD to give the readers a frame of reference. The subject of another story on the same page tends to support that hypothesis: المنتخب البحريني يحقق فوزا معنويا على نظيره الإيراني Bahraini team to achieve a moral victory to his Iranian counterpart As much as I would like a 2.65 RV, I wouldnt try to interpret EVERY occurance in the world as being RV-related.

Question: If the dealer was positive an RV was imminent, wouldnt that dealer be buying MORE so he could be richer? C'mon guys, think up some better BS!.

That 30 day window was debunked weeks ago. After finding there was really no law re: 30 days, the rumor changed so that it wasnt a law, but was in the Iraqi constitution. That was debunked also.
