  1. I did not see it up above me but the US Military is supposed to be out of Iraq by August according to the timeline. So perhaps there would be some additional security in country with a US Military presence. This is just an opinion of mine I have no link.
  2. Thank you Adam for the information. Thank you Puffs for posting it, I was unable to attend the live chat so thank you both.
  3. Oh I did not think you were "coming at me," had I thought that the post would have disappeared and we would not be enjoying this conversation. ToddS
  4. I am not trying to pick a fight with anyone. I simply stated "We shall see......" I do not need inside sources, if you are correct in your post we will all find out soon enough. I also said I hope you are right and I mean it I really hope you are right.
  5. This is not my rumor. I have not spoken to any bank that has a rate yet. I have looked at several currency exchange sites, as I do every morning, and they are all the same. I simply stated "We shall see......" because time weeds through all the rumors. I hope ayaimmortal is right I really do but...... We shall see.... ToddS
  6. I don't really know what intel you are addressing directly, but here is a link to a thread in the forum that discusses banks that are selling the IQD. These are submitted by members and I have not verified which banks are selling now and which banks are not. Link:

  9. VIP members do not have to make 10 posts in order to get into chat. They also do not have to wait the 5 days to get into chat. This requirement was instituted in order to prevent spammers from entering the chat room. We had a rash of spammers that could sign up and instantly access the chat room. It was a pretty simple solution to that problem and has worked perfectly. We had people coming in the chat room at all times advertising products and throwing up websites and even had one come in offering to sell Asian girls. None of this takes place in the chat room any longer because of this simple rule as not many spammers will make their 10 posts or wait 5 days to post a link in the chat room. If they do we find it in a post, as they cannot resist themselves, and usually they are eliminated prior to gaining chat access. It is not a requirement to pay to access the chat room, it is free. But if you do choose to pay for VIP it is a perk of that status that you can access chat without posting as we assume you are serious and will not post spam in the chat room, and so far that has been an accurate assumption. 12. Basketball coach George Karl back in the hospital due to blood nugget in his leg (9news.com) Karl has more complications in cancer recovery Wade Steiner 6 hrs ago DENVER (AP) - Nuggets coach George Karl has another blood clot in his right leg as he recovers from radiation and chemotherapy treatment for throat and neck cancer. Advertisement Karl's partner, Kim Van Deraa, wrote on her blog this weekend that the 58-year-old coach was rushed to the hospital Friday afternoon with the clot. She said doctors were trying to determine the cause because Karl already is on blood-thinning medication. Van Deraa also writes that doctors reinserted a filter into his abdomen. The filter had been removed two weeks ago. The filter prevents the clots from traveling to his hart or lungs. It initially was inserted in March when Karl was first treated for blood clots. Van Deraa and Karl, who are raising their 5-year-old daughter, Kaci, together, had been writing increasingly upbeat blog posts about Karl's slow recovery from squamous cell carcinoma. But the latest post said Karl mentioned his right big toe was hurting Friday and that it felt swollen, so Van Deraa called Karl's doctor, who set up an ultrasound. She wrote that "it turned out he has a blood clot in the same right leg so he was admitted to the hospital to break up the clot." Karl was diagnosed with cancer late last year and informed his players and the media after coaching the Western Conference in the All-Star Game in February. He began a grueling six-week treatment of radiation and chemotherapy that eventually sidelined him in mid-March. He had hoped to return to coaching in the playoffs but his treatment caused him to lose 25 pounds along with his strength and stamina. His voice is a raspy whisper, his mouth full of sores and his neck red and tender from the radiation. The Nuggets were 42-21 under Karl but went 12-12 under acting coach Adrian Dantley and were eliminated by the Utah Jazz in six games in the opening round of the playoffs. Karl hopes to return to the Nuggets this summer so he can participate in the team's busy offseason. Owner Stan Kroenke said Karl's health is the top priority now for the Nuggets, who degenerated from a championship contender to a dysfunctional squad during Karl's absence. 13. Cool: Coach buys beer for hockey players after the game. Not so cool: Hockey players are 10 years old. Greatest coach ever? (torontosun.com) Video shows little-league hockey players with beers By The Canadian Press Last Updated: May 2, 2010 5:10am HUMBOLDT, Sask. - A video posted on YouTube that shows 10-year-old hockey players in Humbolt, Sask., posing with cans and bottles of beer has resulted in the suspension of an assistant coach and a parent who acted as the team's treasurer. Lorrie Heggie of Sask-Can hockey said the incident was a serious case of misjudgment. "I've talked to the guy and I can't for the life of me figure out what he was trying to gain, whether he was just being a silly dad trying to have some goofy fun, or whether he had some purpose to it," said Heggie. "We've indefinitely suspended the individual that brought the beer into the dressing room and we've indefinitely suspended the fella that took the video." The video, filmed by the treasurer dad, shows the young boys being posed with the alcohol and being prompted to hold it up to the camera. At one point as he asks a boy to say hi to the camera he tells the players they're "going to be on YouTube." "OK, take a drink," one of the adults in the room prompts a 10-year-old. "No," says the boy, who appears uncomfortable. "Here we are in the locker room, young men just having a beer," narrates the camera operator. "Look at that. Love it....the boys are enjoying a fine beer after a hard game." The video has since been removed from YouTube. http://www.torontosun.com/news/canada/2010/05/02/13796036-cp.html

  17. Police find clues in potential car bomb vehicle From Susan Candiotti and Jeanne Meserve, CNN May 2, 2010 -- Updated 1747 GMT (0147 HKT) (CNN) -- A T-shirt vendor who noticed smoke coming out of a dark green sport utility vehicle alerted police to what turned out to be a potential bomb placed in the city's iconic Times Square -- teeming with tourists and theater-goers on a balmy spring evening. "We avoided what could have been a very deadly event," said Mayor Michael Bloomberg early Sunday morning. "It certainly could have exploded and had a pretty big fire and a decent amount of explosive impact." The atmosphere at Times Square returned to normal Sunday, but questions remained about the contents of the vehicle. Two federal officials said Sunday it was too early to tell whether the incident involved al Qaeda or another international terror group. The national threat level remained at yellow, or elevated. "We're taking this very seriously," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union," noting that the New York police, FBI and federal Joint Terrorism Task Force were involved in the investigation. "We're treating it as if it could be a potential terrorist attack." More at "CNN"...... http://edition.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/05/02/times.square.closure/index.html?hpt=T1
