    ***///

We just barely waved g'bye to our little buddy sparky and you're already lookin' for his replacement? Yikes, hang on, kids, here we go again!

    lakeliving

That's why I won't sell my iqd. I'll either be the "fool that didn't sell" or the "fool that sold"...I don't want to be the "fool that sold".

I'll be the fool that sold but only after the RV.

    ***///

    HEAR! HEAR! :tiphat:

  2. Welcome to DV

    ***

    yuh... what Bumper said! :D

    It'd be downright unAmerican and

un-1-percenter not to enjoy a little levity along the way!

    Wa-hoo! :wave::woot::wave:

I never paid any attention until last week when some guy walked into the bank where my brother works and asked him about the RV. My brother is a banker at Wells Fargo in NYC and he hasn't heard anything about the RV from the banks perspective. Ever since then I have living on the internet searching for more info.

    Nice Goin'.... B)

    Keep us posted!

    Fresh intel is always welcome

(and we never shoot the messenger  )

  3. Cynical, pessimistic, sarcastic, satirical imply holding a low opinion of humanity. Cynical suggests a disbelief in the sincerity of human motives

    YA THINK!!!!!!!!!!!

And pray tell why I should not be. Have you watched the news lately?

Have you not noticed how dumb we all have become as a nation, or how selfish

we have become that we will break down shopping mall doors just for a pair of

    cheep tennis shoes?

Humanity is fast falling into an abyss of complete moral decay and I only

am willing to call it what it is.

    HEAR! HEAR!

I'd elaborate but it's hard to whistle Yankee Doodle and type at the same time! :tiphat::twothumbs:

  4. It's good to take a breather for a good laugh! Thanks!

    ***

    ...and healthy!

Honest to pete, it's this sorta nutty stuff that is making this runaway dinar bus ride of ours more fun!

And I'm a GreatAmerican, I LIKE my fun! (as witnessed by how many awsome sports channels we have in this Country!):twothumbs::woot:

The only thing we're missing to make this a great American sport-watching event is cheerleaders!

We got plenty of attractive folks here to put that together...!

I nominate Texas Granny for head cheerleader! :tiphat:

  5. Any one know how to become an illegal alien? I am ready to get at least some of my rights back.

----Yup, i'd jus die laffin' if I hadn't stopped myself all of a sudden realising it may be a viable option... :(

How low have we come to even consider this step?... look around you, folks

We, the voters allowed this to happen to us.

Now watcha gonna do about it...

Let's ask John Wayne! - wait no, he's dead.

Let's ask Teddy Roosevelt-- no, can't...

    how about Douglas McArthur,

    Thomas Payne, George Washington,

    Georg Patton,

    Jimmy Stewart,

We are SO screwed if we don't go to the polls with a Historic-kind of candidate...

No, wait... there aren't any left

    {play Taps,

    lower the colours,

    walk away...

  6. Seems they are trying SO hard to pull it together! I wish all parties could just agree on what's best for the nation's people and move forward already. All that oil... why don't they do like Alaska and pump it out and share it with the folks? I bet if everyone had a little better fiscal situation over there there'd be less infighting... I wish them well.

  7. Yes, problems like Iran will be dealt with when necessary.

But in the interim let's be cognisant of their sneaky ways.

AmadiniNut wouldn't let some civilian contractor of theirs enter another country under the guise of an innocent repair contract if there wasn't somethingn in it for him and his agenda.

We're talking skilled individuals here... engineers, technicians, the like...

Owned and puppeted by the kook himself.

Bet he's mighty happy about sneaking in the back door now that Uncle Sam left through the front door....

  8. Why should Americans be so afraid of Iran? I believe the some of benefits of Afghanistan and Iraq wars were to box Iran in like rats in a cage. Iran does a few little exercises in the Straits of Hormuz and Isreal and everyone controlled by Isreal gets upset. Does Iran have nukes? I don't know. But if I were them I do know that it is pretty obvious when your going to be set up and attacked. I would want some way to fight back if I were Iran or at least have the threat of nukes.

    *******

    Look, Rothsdad,

I've sat in 3rd world' jungles' long and often enough to know what infiltration looks like.

We have a pretty good idea what Iran has, some of it our own stuff we sold that part of the world and now cannot account for most of it.

And, yes, it's particularly dangerous in the hands of a country who's mullahs & titular heads border on being insane with irrational views of what's right for the world.

Look into the past 30 years of what our DOD sold to that part of the world and just take a guess at what they're able to do with it.

Techno advances even over there make it possible for them to do serious damage to any peaceful effort on our part.

Now toss in those countries who also sold them technology and stuff...

DO we truly know of what they are capable -- No.

Should we be on alert -- yes.

    Scared of Iran? HELL NO!!

No more so than of any other kook-led country.

But even you have to admit you'd think twice if you ran into an insane person in an alley with a bomb.

  9. Any involvement by Iran in Iraq - commercially/industrially speaking is dangerous.

Any foothold by Iran in any place in the world is dangerous.

EXAMPLE: Iran building nuclear weapon launch sites off the coast of Venezuela so thay can more readily/easily strike us here in the U.S. of A.

As long as they are able to infiltrate anyplace - under any guise - they become more dangerous to a safe and sane world.

    period.

  10. That's funny, I was thinking the same thing. LOL must be more Red Bull and Vodka again tonight. I think it sounds like he is going to go to Iraq and cash in like he says his buddy did. Hope to hear he gets it done though to be honest.

    r2

..."and locking the door to his mother's basement for the final time, he picked up his hello kitty backback and made his way to the short bus waiting at the curb to whisk him away to his financial freedom, unlimited redbulls and a life free of naysayers and judgmental misguided nonbelievers..."

Good luck, there sparky. Be safe and write home soon. we're sure gonna miss ya, little buddy. :(

  11. I think this guy enjoys yanking everybody's chain. In the past he jumped on some bank screen b.s. and was trying to make everyone believe it was live and just had to be put into the forex. Now he is pretending to have a friend that cashed in over in Iraq. He is probably telling all his Dungeon and Dragon friends how he got a bunch of people on DV to believe his horse sh**.

    -----------------------------

    ROFL, LMAO...

Stop, ya'll are killin' me!!!!! :lmao::shakehead::lol:

  12. This is not the comedy hour. WOW!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The comical side of all this is that with all the complaining going on,

an entire political base can't find a single honestly qualified candidate worthy of the most precious right we possess as Americans - our vote.

I'm sick and tired of the ignorance - something as minor as the term 'democratic' being used when speaking of Democrats - It's two different things! (and we all know the least properly democratic thing around is a Democrat!) When speaking of Democrats, the proper term is Democrat, not democratic, not Democracy...

The ignorance has stretched from this minor point all the way to actually getting the current guy in office!

now if you don't see the sad humor/irony in that, then you need a wake-up call...

Playing at election year dream teams is a fun diversion for those of us who are so disgusted with what our Country has come to that we need a chuckle.

But look into it a little deeper...

Dreaming about a political Dream Team is not unlike fantasy football, Power Ball, Lotto... a fun diversion with a fun "what if" slant - "perchance to dream..."

It stimulates us to really take the topic in hand and through discussion perhaps come up - in the end - with a truly worthy Candidate for the most important job in the land!

Ted Nugent doesn't take crap off anybody! He has a loving side that I've seen when he deals w/ us Veterans, his family and friends. He loves his land. He's an excellent provider. And he bleeds Red, White & Blue.

HE'D BOW TO KNOW ONE but he'd take bow in hand. I love this guy.

Dolly Parton creates an incredible diversionary tactic - then BAM - there's an intelleigent, articulate, capable, clever, SMART lady! Definite advantage over that idiot #2 who's supposedly representing us around the world now and can't get near a mike w/o coming off like the idiot he is... my opinion - i'm entitled to it - free speech. We need a loving, smart woman up there who loves this country - her whole life - not just recently like some other 'lady' we know.

THe rest of my field is self explanatory -

    from Trumps business savvy to

Bill's 'no bullsh--t "let The People Know The Truth" attitude about what our news is suposed to be like/about

to Judy who calls 'em like she sees 'em and all the while does it in accordance with the law, something the current guys ARE NOT DOING!

My point is this: think about the people you admire and truly respect...

explore these values within yourself and discuss w/ your friends/family

If we all talk about it enough, we'll realise what our values truly are and focus on having that in Washington representing us - much better than what we have now.

"If you were stuck on a desert island with 9 other people, who would they be and why..."

Dude... my island would be AWESOME!

If yours had the current candidats for the GOP nom on it -- well....

    see what I mean?

I'd have an excellent balance in my choices to survive a very long time, in a place I like, with people I like and being a Happy American is what it's about for me

    LOVE - PEACE - JOY

    you oughtta try it sometime

[drops mike - exits stage RIGHT]

  13. However this plays out,

    6 pm today

I am extremely grateful for the people whom have endured "sandbox" duty.

I pray that when the RV happens, all of us that are benefitting from this cause, remember those that are recovering mentally

and physically from the time spent there by sharing the wealth.

I spent most of my day up at the V.A. Hospital. The need there is great for Prayer and any other kind of support we can offer. Never enough of either for these brave souls.

I never feel sorry for myself when I am up there among those who've served in every war we can remember.

Regardless of age, branch of service, infirmity, There is a comeraderie I feel in their midst, pride, heartbreak, just a shared 'knowing' .

The concurrent thread never mentioned yet omnipresent is love.

If there is anything we all take away from our service it's this: Our love for our families, our Country, -- and the world is the reason. That's a pretty great love. That's where our strength comes from - from knowing we're doing/have done the right thing for a better world.

    Now THAT's service.

So, yes, if/when this thing comes to pass, remember the long road and who walked it for us.

TO all my fellow Veterans: We did a greater good than the world will ever truly know. And every time we did it/do it - we have our victory.

God Bless Us Every One of Us.
