I want it known I am NOT a lopster. The purpose of a 3 zero lop as in your example is not to lower the value of currency but raise it against the value of other foreign currencies. In your example you would have to add 3 zeros not subtract them. A 3 zero lop of a ten dollar bill (subtracting 3 zeros) would not lessen its value but increase it. A penny as in your example would purchase what a $10 bill used to. Not vise versa. I would also like to point out you would also have to issue new currency to replace the old at the same time as the lop. If Iraq lops 3 zeros and issues new currency you lose nothing. You gain nothing either but they effectively raise the value of the dinar from $0.000857 usd to $0.857 usd. While the old and new currencies coincide in circulation the new 25 dinar note will equal an old 25000 dinar note. I personally hope this doesnt happen and they rv the currency in use.

The title of this post is an opinion not a fact. Posts should not be misplaced. If they are, they only lead to confusing the membership as to what is fact and what is opinion.

I have been reading the posts on this site for along time now. Actually, I read many of the sites. At this site, it seems anyone posting an opinion differing from the vast majority is quickly vilified and negged out. The true greatness of a message board is tollerance for those with different view points and the willingness of those to discuss and support their beliefs and theories. You don't have to agree but the childish remarks and comments made here, I believe are truly unwarranted. The 'closer' the RV appears to be, anyone making such a 'mistake' is quickly attacked by essentially the same pack of wolves. It's the same for each post that strays from the majority. Or is it a minority guiding the path for the majority. Our way or the highway. Same group attacks again and again. I own dinar, have for years. I'd love to see an RV of $0.10 plus. Only time will tell. This, was for me, a truly speculative investment with a potential huge upside. But it isn't being relied upon for the future of my family. There seems to be a desperation here and one very narrow accepted view point. Stop walking around with blinders on, takem off and open yourself up to a world of possibilities. The TRUTH is noone knows what will happen untill it actually does. Anyone telling you differently is lying.
