I wasn't aware that Iraq had to pay any debt back. I thought their debt was forgiven by all the nations...... furthermore, this is the first I hear of them oweing us a war debt. If this is true, then this would greatly help the U.S. and would solve alot of problems.... No news, media, ... or radio has ever said that Iraq has to pay us back for the war............................. I think that would end the partisan bickering if that was the case....because the country would find itself in alot of wealth... and that has never been factored in ANY of the conversations on how we are going to pay for this and that, and the many programs we just created. Example: Healthcare. Don't you think our guys over here,...... the smart ones.... would of mentioned that? I don't mind reading articles and all..... it can be uplifting at times... especially the other day when we all thought we were rich....... but I wouldn't mind if I read something like this in the newspaper on my front doorstep... or hearing it on tv for once. We've been in this situation with Iraq for a very long time. Can anyone recall ANYBODY on tv..... saying that Iraq owes us a war debt? and it will be paid back? Also, if it isn't a war debt..... and we are hearing of a lucrative contract the U.S. could get for them using our military....... and dinar is involved etc..... don't you think our Congress would know about this? "They can keep it secret" that's fine.... but even if it's a secret that the country is holding all this dinar..... wouldn't that end the display of rhetoric and arguments on how we are going to pay for this and that?! I mean, because secretly.... on both sides..... they would know that we have nothing to worry about...... right? If this is true.... then I guess I have been oblivious this whole time.... or this whole 8 years we have been at war........ and must of not been paying attention to anything on the news etc. Anyways.. that's the way I see it.
