Sounds like Washington is worried about the wrong border, US and Canada border is heavily guarded, if terrorist want to get into the states, you would thinj they would go through mexico?
  2. Adventure tourism: Tourism of duty in Iraq As foreign armies leave Iraq, tour guides and tourists are slowly taking their place. Two car bombs killed more than 150 people in Baghdad at the end of last year, one of the worst attacks in years. Even so, British tour operator Geoff Hann has no plans to stop arranging trips to Iraq through his company, Hinterland Travel. “Bombings in Baghdad happen all the time,” he says, somewhat dismissively. Hann returned home to England after his last trip just two days before the dual blasts, having spent the previous three weeks guiding a group of American tourists (and a couple of armed guards) through the country in a minibus. So far this year Hann has taken about 60 travellers from North America, Europe and Taiwan to Iraq — at an average $4,000 a pop — the first tours he’s led since the U.S. and British invasion in 2003. Currently, his company is the only one providing trips to Iraq — but that could soon change. A recent report from market research firm Euromonitor International says tourism there is on the rise. Indeed, the Iraqi government has already gotten into the act, announcing earlier this year that visitors can spend a night in a room in one of former dictator Saddam Hussein’s palaces for US$175. Iraq features some of the oldest historical sites in the world, such as the ancient cities of Babylon and Eridu, and the government is adamant about developing a tourism industry to attract some much-needed investment. Iraqi universities now teach tourism courses, and last year, the government held a contest for the best tourism poster design. More from Canadian Business Filling the gap Travel: Make it personal Battle of the corporate coffees Travel: Lose the Carry On The number of visitors to Iraq plummeted in 2003, but has since recovered, climbing to 119,700 in 2008. Euromonitor estimates an annual growth rate of 6% until 2012. Nearly 95% of the visitors will be so-called religious tourists from Iran, mostly Shiite pilgrims who visit holy sites in the cities of Najaf and Karbala. But the government still needs to provide adequate accommodations (many hotels are in direpair) to attract religious tourists from other countries, and to provide a stepping-stone to develop the kind of leisure tourism Hann provides. Kurdistan, a relatively safe region in northern Iraq, is already well on its way to meeting this goal. The region has been spared the violence that continues to shake the rest of the country, and boasts a friendly foreign-investment climate. Much hotel renovation and construction work is on the go. A Sheraton opened recently, and the Malia Group in Lebanon is building a 205-room luxury hotel to be completed next year. A handful of travel agencies offer trips to Kurdistan, including Bestway Tours & Safaris in Burnaby, B.C., which hoped to organize its first excursion this year. But the rest of Iraq is a far tougher sell. Investment will only come once a degree of safety is established, and investors are still hesitant. Many plans have fallen through. A consortium of American private equity firms announced intentions last year to build an amusement park in Baghdad designed by Ride & Show Engineering Inc., the same company that developed Disneyland in California. But the financial backers pulled out months ago. Hann, however, is unfazed. He’s already organizing his next trip. “I don’t like security travelling with us very much,” he admits. “It stops us from going to places we could otherwise quietly go to.” Any takers? www.travel.ca.msn.com
  3. Nothing New! We may see a RV by the end of the year if were lucky! Hope things turn around, but if you look around doesn't look positive, Us dollar falling causeing the Canadian dollar to rise, causeing interest rates in Canada to go up, Obama anti Isreal causeing tention between the 2 countries, Soldiers dieing in vain in Afganistand for a cause the Afgan gov doesn't seem to want, how about oil prices riseing? What about Russia? I hear Russia has the biggest natural gas fields in the world and they are soon to be the biggest oil producer as the goal is not to have a arms race but to control energy, while Obama turns to green energy, there will never be enough green energy in my life or my childerns to replace the energy needs of the US or the world. I could go on and on but i hope things change because it don't look good for us average people and really is our cash safe? I have a Christain brother in the oil business and he has been buying gold and silver for the last 2 years and keeps telling me to buy as money is not safe, the rich will stay rich because of what they do with their investment. Thinking Out Load!
  4. ive been on this site for about 6 months and i lost count on how many RV dates there has been given by the same people and never happen!, but i've cut down on logging on the site to once a week and after this week may be once every 2 weeks> i know whats my point! I truely believe now we are far from RV as no one truely knows when it will happen, even the so called intel don't know, i think once those big oil companies start pumping oil and making money will we see a RV
  5. Sounds like the begining of a one world currency down the road! Maybe i'm wrong, but this is the first thing that came to mind.
  6. A friend in Edmonton Canada is buying his Dinar at Custom House, he said there is only one place to get it in Edmonton, he gave me a number 1-780-701-1671 for custom house, last time he bought dinar he was told 2week wait and they phoned him in 5 days. Hope this helps!
  7. i have found out through friends that custom house sells dinar in alberta and one brother was buying dinar through TD bank in canada
  8. i'm not in alberta so i'm not sure about the bank selling dinar, but i do know they do currency exchange
  9. Well my family member is a manager for the Servus Credit Union in Alberta Canada, won't give the branch as i could see people phoning the branch asking questions
  10. i have a lot of money invested in this curency and i want to see it RV like every one else, i don't comment most of the time as most are lies and can't under stand why there can't be more truth, i have a pastor friend on another site that follows medic and every email i get from him about what medic says has been faults and maybe if i really didnt have a real bank manager in my family i would have fallen for these rumors, i just feel bad for those who need this to RV and cling on to every piece of info truth or lie, i wish this site could be more on the truthfull and honest side.
  11. Once again i have a bank manager in my family and just got off the phone 15mins ago and she tells me there is nothing like what is said happening, she has not received any info on any currency, there is not a watch or any email to her branch?

i have read all the post to this point and i'm sure there is more to say, Thank you for helping me to understand. I am saddened though of the thought of America falling, growing up i always had this security knowing that your great nation would be there for any democracy, i felt safe as a child knowing that communism, dictators or radicals in seen on the news could not harm my country because of America, America stood for freedom, God, hope and standards, what will happen to this world if your great nation may fall. Thank You God Bless America and May America be thankfull for Gods Blessings!

it's hard to trust the news networks as they are either left or right with their own agenda, i have a friend who lived in North America and moved to Southern France last year, he tells me that France is a Socialist country and people in North America don't realize how much freedom they have, he said he will kiss the ground when he goes back to North America. Socialism can't be that good!
