What ever happened with the "training" that was going on with the banks in Iraq when they suddenly closed temporarily? Also, if we have $25k bills and they LOP along with the RV, how do we exchange them or do we even have to? Will the cash in process take care of that for us? I am appealing to anyone with factual information. Speculators need not reply. Dont mean to be rude. Just dont want to waste my time with hype and conjecture. Thank you in advance.

I am of the opinion that the best job in the world is that of an Iraqi parliamentarian. I mean, other than the constant threat of terrorism by extremists. These people take even more vacations than our congress does. No wonder the cannot get anything done. I thank the moderators for posting the credible news articles. I, for one, will be using the next 12 days to deprogram from my obsession with Dinar related information and rumors. I will check in just to see if any of the rumor mongers and pumpers try to feed more of their BS about the RV happening now, when they know full well that nothing is happening until the parliament gets back into session. No budget, no seating of the remaining cabinet positions, no nothing. I look forward to seeing what the pied pipers have to say during this time. I believe in what we have. I believe I am blessed to have this opportunity. I believe the RV will eventually happen. My prediction is sometime in June due to the looming DFI issues. honestly, I think the RV is the last thing on the agenda of either Maliki, Allawi, or Shabibi. They have a ton to do before they can pull the trigger. I could be wrong and have been before. I base my opinion on WAY too many hours researching all possible angles. I need this for my family but will survive until it happens. God is good and will see us through all things for his glory. That is as much preaching as you will hear from me. Just where the hell was all of this information when the rumor mongers and the hired pumpers were feeding us full of their crap. I have now seen at least 2 bonifide and plausible articles predicting no RV for some time to come. Boy the hired pumpers did a great job of making a killing for the dealers and suckers of the rest of us. Disgusting and I am ashamed to have even read that trash. I wont be logging on. I will leave it up to the broadcast messages and email IF this thing RV's. Otherwise, I will just leave it alone and get on with my real life. Yes, I am ticked because all of these idiots did nothing but make stuff up so that their employers, the dealers, could sell Dinar like mad at the end of the year. They preyed on the hopeful for ill gotten gain. That sucks and I will no longer be a part of it. God bless those of you who are true. The others will get their due.

The link worked for me and if you click on the link that says Iraq planning to redenominate currency, the original date of the article is 2/2010. I wouldnt worry too much but remember that, even in the article, they stated that the denomination you have would not lose value, ie: 1-25k note = 25k single notes after redenom. That is how I understand it. It will just be a cluster to get these exchanged.

As I study all of the information I can on this site and others, along with googling just about every angle to get the most information about the Dinar I can, I have to wonder. Do the dealers in specific, want to see an RV? Other than becoming filthy rich themselves, the Dinar side of the business would literally halt with a high RV. If the Dinar RV's at a high rate, say $3.5 or more, wouldnt the smart money stay out, betting on the rate to decline, at least until more is known of the potential and stability of the Iraqi economy? If this happens, it seems it wouldnt matter how much Dinar is available, I dont think anyone in their right mind would buy it with the expectation of a drop in value. Demand would be non existent. Banks dont care because of their diversification. It would just drop from their radar. I suppose the dealers would just shift to the next great hope also. I got the thinking about this as I read that the "so called" shortage is nothin but a temp thing. Dont get me wrong, I want and need this RV and hope it comes soon. That being said, I have certainly enjoyed the well orchestrated marketing scheme to get an entire poulation into a frenzy and panic to get their hands on "THE DEAL OF THE CENTURY". It does make for good reading. I find myself way too addicted to this subject right now but have enjoyed the ride. Please share your thoughts as no one died and made me a expert by any means. I just talked with my contact at DT and they will be getting more next week. Looks like the shortage was just temporary. Seems everything will get back to normal next week.

I just spoke to my local B of A banker in person and she also said that they do not deal in the Dinar and have not for 2.5 years. If the originator of this post truly got the informaiton that was communicated, then B of A has different policies for different areas and I dont think that is the case with foreign currency. I am disappointed with all the fluff I am reading but am not losing my faith in the RV. Lets hope it happens soon. Happy New Year and dont hold your breath. Calidad

I would cash in enough to clear the liability section of my balance sheet and leverage the rest. I have a young family and a business that is limping along. Having capital to pay off debt and reinvest will be HUGE. I thank God for putting me in the right place at the right time and thank my friends for explaining this to me. We are at a critical financial crossroads right now and we are praying that this is our time. GO RV!!!
