There are so many charities out there that need our help and I hope that many of you will contribute to more than just one as I will when this finally pops, but first and foremost I will give to the wounded warriors foundation because lets face it, without them we would never of had the opportunity to be involved iqln this once in a life time investment and their sacrifices should never be forgotten.

Didn't Adam say that he would close down the option to join or renew our vip accounts when he felt we were ' few days out from an rv'? Well I just checked and I could still renew for another 3 months if I was so inclined. I hope that I am wrong, but I take that as a sign that he's not sure of anything yet. Hopefully he comes back on for a quick update so we all can relax a little.

I Just got my log-in information today,,, so I guess they're still working... Although I havent been able to log on yet. I dont know if its the computer here at work or a problem there, but I will try it again when I get home tonight. I sent my request for log on information on Sunday morning to both c.accounts@warka-bank-iq.com and ifrd@warka-bank-iq.com , and got a response today,, three days isnt too bad I guess. Anyone,, I finally got my account open and went to my bank (chase) to send the wire to fund it and my bank says that the info I have is too vague. When they go to fill out the form, the swift code is not recognized and it goes down hill from there. what info do I use for Beneficiary bank and intermediary bank?? What is the FED Wire number for? I had applied a couple of weeks ago and got a response back on the 1st of August from Mr Issa saying they are processing my request, sooooooo I would say that they ARE still taking new customers. I believe the banks will still be operating during Ramadan, but probably at a slower pace. Give it a try, but I strongly suggest going the email route instead of the online process as I have heard nothing but bad things about the online responses. GL trakkr

If you are traveling post rv,, then your total 'worth' of dinar has drastically changed and you are required by law to report it. Whether you do or not would be up to you. You could try to just play dumb and not say anything 'thinking' that the value was still <$1500 and hope you dont get checked. But if everyone and their brother is making a B line for the US, and an rv HAS happened, you can bet your ass that customs will be scrutinizing each and every passenger coming from that AO looking for just that. I've personally seen what the dinar looks like when it goes through the xray machine, and even though it only "looks" like a small book or bundle of papers (no other identifying features show up on the xray, ie metal strips), if an rv has happened and the customs agents have been made aware of it and told what to look for, it may not be as easy to get away with. You may be better off doing what p71rock suggested and use a courior, you just have to weigh the risks of all options. JMO trakkr
