  1. Would someone dumb it down a little for me please and tell me what market will be confused by lowering the exchange rate.
I’ve read several articles saying this but can’t figure out what market their referring too.
Are they referring to the ISX or the CBI daily auctions or maybe the money exchangers on the street corners.
If they are referring to any of the mentioned it has absolutely nothing to do with the majority  of the poor citizens of Iraq.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Iraqi Parliament on Thursday gave its vote of confidence to 64 new members of parliament to fill the majority of the 73 seats left vacant by the Sadrist Movement.

The 64 new parliament members attained the seats since they had the most votes from the October parliamentary elections following the mass resignation of all 73 Sadrist MPs two weeks ago. They took their oath in Thursday's session, which was attended by 202 MPs.

Following the session, the participating political blocs issued a statement in which they called on all political blocs to commit to forming a national service government that responds to the people's demands. They stressed that the government should be formed under the principles of consensus, partnership, and commitment to upholding the constitution.

The statement emphasized solving the disputes between Erbil and Baghdad and legislating the oil and gas law per the relevant articles of the Iraqi constitution.

The overwhelming majority of the 64 new parliament members are from the Iran-backed Shiite Coordination Framework coalition, increasing the chances this coalition can form another consensus government in Iraq that upholds Iran's interests in the country.

Past governments of this kind have given many promises to the Kurds, including resolving problems between Erbil and Baghdad and implementing the Iraqi constitution. However, they invariably fail to live up to such promises once the government is formed.

Never would have thought Al-Sadr would have turned Iraq over to Iran.
I thought it might have been just a big bluff he was pulling but it does appear he just threw in the towel and turned it over to Al-Maliki and Iran….

  3. Activities include mentoring, coaching, staff exchanges, specialized training courses, a reference library, E-Learning platform development, and other support system" rel="">supportmechanisms.

The CBI could start by arresting a number of their own bankers throughout the country. The bankers and their staff are the biggest threat to money laundering in the country. If you add the politicians to the mix you know where the corruption lies.
The CBI needs more than an international support group, they need an internal cleanings…..

  4. Thanks for all the articles 6ly410 but this has to be the funniest article I’ve read all day.
Picture this if you will, a region that can’t agree on a nomination for president, a region that says the Federal Supreme Court is illegal, can’t agree with the GOI on anything but wants their military to work together with the government’s military.
I’m thinking these people are getting ready to start their own comedy show….lol

When Al-Sadr says the condition for him to return to the government formation is that he won’t work with criminals, Al-Maliki is not the only one he is talking about.
No secret I’ve never been a fan of the crooked criminals in Kurdistan but the thieves are putting it out there in this statement for everyone to see my point…..

  6. IMHO…Al-Sadr just pissed off Iran and the puppet Maliki.
If you look at from us Dinar investors point of view it sucks.
Did you notice he waited until after the vote on the Food Law was passed to do this?
By dissolving parliament it take’s away the immunity from all including Maliki.
This is where I’m guessing at Al-Sadr end game. I’ve been saying for weeks they need to start burning tires in the streets because that’s what gets the attention.
I’m a thinking that Maliki and lots more of his thieves in parliament are about to be served. Al-Sadr was serious when he said Maliki wouldn’t be part of the government. Al-Sadr made sure the citizens were cared for before he pulled the plug. The PM and president will continue until next elections, what I can’t figure out is, are there anything else that needs to happen before the CBI makes a rate change.
That’s my thinking, either Al-Sadr has made the gamble of the century and new elections rid them of Iran or he has sent the Iraq government into the abyss….

    1. Passage of the law.

    2. The law then must be put into the Gazette and the requisite time needs to pass.

    3. Implementation of the law. This will require time and money to do.

    4. The rate won't change with the legislative passing of the law. Nor will it change when the law goes live. Nor will will it change when the law is implemented. Why? It's Iraq! They will then want to do a study on the rate change at this time and after that will want to do a study on the study of the study of the rate change. And when the desert sands have reclaimed the buildings and the bones have long since returned to the earth, they will say, "We need to do a study on the rate change."

    5. Sometime between the end of time and then will they change the rate. However, that is defined as "soon".

Aren’t you glad the government has nothing to do with the exchange rate…me too.

They also said Iran has signed onto already, if they have then Iraq has but no mention of iraq.

screwball, just giving you a hard time nothing personal BUT your post is either hearsay or opinion correct? Nothing I can Google or do any research on, is that right?
This is why I hang out in the news section and not in the BS section of DV….

Today, Monday, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Faiq Yazidi, confirmed that it is not possible to challenge the decisions of the Iraqi judiciary and bypass the Federal Court.

In an interview with (Baghdad Today), Yazidi said, "The safest for Kurdistan is to hand over oil to the federal government and to deal directly with Baghdad economically."
He added that "due to the wrong policy of the Democratic Party in managing the oil file, the price of a liter of fuel has reached 1250 dinars, and this is a dangerous precedent."
He stressed that "challenging the decisions of the judiciary will lead us to indispensable problems, and the one who bears the tax is the Kurdish citizen."

Thanks for the article 6ly410, finally found one sain person in the Kurdistan region….

    that’s a start

LMAO!!! You just can’t make this stuff up, these crooks have no pride or shame.

The other day they said the Federal Court was a joke and Baghdad had no say so in their government BUT they still have their hand out wanting their money….

Baghdad should tell these thieves they will sort things out when the HCL is in place and all the money is returned from the illegal oil sales from previous years….

  11. LMAO…theses idiots raking in billions of dollars a week and squabbling over the oil money.
Reminds me of the movies about the gold rush when these people were killing each other over the gold.
A group of politicians from Kurdistan decided the Iraq Federal Court is useless, it appears we’re back to square one from 20 years ago about the oil law.
Unless me and the rest of the world has missed that article that came out saying the Kurdistan region is separate from Iraq I will just assume it’s still part of Iraq.
I also believe that the international oil companies don’t want to get involved in this endless political circus in Iraq that will cost them unforetold amount of money in the Federal and International courts……

This so reminds me of the saying, what the definition of insanity is…

Hey Al-Sadr, Iraq just had early elections. What are you trying to do go 2 out of 3….

I’m waiting for yota to post the articles about how these new elections are going to be any different from the one last year.
It’s obvious to me they don’t intend to form a government anytime soon and why should they? Hey everyone that is anyone is getting rich off of 115 dollar oil prices….
