    Al-Sadr launches a new slogan – urgent

    Doc-P-429425-637960875045126043-810x455.

Today, Sunday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, directed the adoption of the slogan "The Year of Change" in official correspondences and books.

Al-Sadr's office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, "According to the directives of Mr. Muqtada Al-Sadr, it was decided to adopt the slogan (the Year of Change) in official correspondences and books in all Sadrist line institutions."

    I like it…..

The IQD ride has been long and drawn out....a real rollercoaster...(Yota gets that reference!)

I hope more people will make an effort to pursue investment in the various blockchain projects, projects that will change the face of finance as we know it.

For what you paid for a few million IQD.....when invested wisely in late 16....early 17...you might find things pretty bright in your financial life today....

Best part is.....it's still very early in that process....   CL

Totally agree coors, if I’ve bought Tesla in 2016 for 40 dollars a share I would be doing pretty good today at over 900 dollars a share…

    Gotta love that 20/20 hindsight…lol

  3. A perfect example of why I’m not seeing the reason for another election.
My question is, what is supposed to change? Did I miss the article that states Iraq will now be free of the Iranian influence or the one that says the same corrupt politicians will not be running?
I’m sure Al-Sadr has a plan but I would like to see the benefit of new elections.

  4. Totally agree horsesoldier, this cult of Islam is another driving factor of the violence in the Middle East and especially against women.
Your correct also about the hypocritical and phony congratulations of the brothers to one another on each of their cult holidays because yesterday they threatened to kill each other.

I’m done, sorry for the rant but I guess my tolerance for this circus is about gone…

An economic source stated that the Central Bank sold 3 billion and 953 million and 313 thousand to the banks of the influential corruption parties during the month of July. And 919 dollars, at a rate of 263 million 554 thousand and 261 dollars per day, down from last June, in which the average sales amounted to 265 million 956 thousand

Any wonder why Maliki and the rest of the thieves are clawing and screaming about staying in power.
I’m at a point where I’m gonna have to add the governor of the CBI to the list….

  6. Well I guess the inevitable has finally gotten here.
Al-Sadr needs hundreds of thousands to hit the streets and stay there until Maliki has been dealt with.
All these arrests warrants that was supposedly issued needs to be served an the crooks be jailed.
Somehow they need to vote in a president and PM so they can move forward, the budget needs to be voted on and a decision on the HCL needs finalized…

  7. Appears to be a pattern with these band of thieves. I think they go through this budget thing every year to try and justify their jobs.
Never have figured out after all the months of back and fourth then finally vote and approve the budget it’s never launched and put in motion.

I keep wondering when the Federal Court over there will intervene in this political madness and make some decisions for these incompetent crooks….

There will be always be corruption, have told everyone numerous times, look at kuwait and their history of parliament. Will never be eliminated if you think this will hold up rv it will never happen

I wish Iraq had the type of government Kuwait has, they wouldn’t be in this mess their in now.
I also never mentioned any RV, I talked about the sovereign wealth fund their looking into that I think their not ready for. I think Iraq has so many issues that any of them could hold up an RV or an election and the list goes on….

Shafaq News/ A deputy quoted the coordination framework on Saturday, that the defense and foreign ministers and military commanders informed the House of Representatives that the Iraqi forces have no ability to respond to the Turkish attacks.

Representative Ibtisam Al-Hilali told Shafak News Agency; "The foreign and defense ministers and the army chief of staff said during today's session that Turkey was responsible for the attack on a resort in Zakho."

Al-Hilali continued; The two ministers, the commander of operations and the army chief of staff told parliament that "Iraq does not possess sufficient warplanes and military equipment to enable the Iraqi armed forces to respond militarily to Turkey."

She pointed out that the parliament's guests took note that "there are more than ten military bases for the Turkish army in the Kurdistan Region and northern Iraq, and that more than a thousand Turkish soldiers are present in those bases."

Al-Hilali added; "The House of Representatives is currently deliberating what the ministers and military leaders talked about, and it will take an official decision at the end of the session regarding the incident of the Turkish aggression on Iraqi lands."

Lady let me be the first to tell you that Iraq has plenty of equipment to face the Turkish military, what is lacking is guts and backbone.
It’s a shame that all the billions of dollars and USA lives spent in this cesspool of a country that their still unable to protect themselves.
I know I sound negative but it chaps my a$$ when I read comments from these cowards how insufficient their military is.
The military is not their problem, it’s still the corruption that has them hung up in the 19th century.

Until they can find a way to rid themselves of Maliki and Iran they will continue to be just another poor third world country with lots of oil money….

  10. I’m not sure if Iraq is at that stage yet of creating a sovereign wealth fund. There is still too much corruption in the so-called government to have that kind of money available. Being the state owns the fund and you have a Maliki or one of his cronies running the government, there goes your wealth fund.
Most of the countries surrounding Iraq has a sovereign wealth fund, even Iran so that tells you how far behind that country really is…

  11. Fitch said, in a report today, Wednesday, that this decline is a positive matter for the creditworthiness of the sovereign rating, noting that this decline may not be sustainable; Due to political tensions that have constrained public spending and reflect the high political risks that are recorded in Iraq’s rating at “ B .” ".

What a sad report from an independent third party analyst. Iraq just can’t quite get past themselves even with all the oil money….
